There are so many versions and translations of the Bible available presently that it is very confusing to decide which Bible to choose for personal use. The 3 erudite videos below can sort out the confusion for you. They show the sources of various Bibles, and how and why some changes and blatant omissions were made in modern day translations. I urge you to watch all 3 videos so you can make an educated personal choice.

Health To All,
Yes, as one delves into bible reading, many issues can or will eventually enter the process. When first I became aware, that not all bibles were the same, it was quite a shock. My thinking was along the lines of, "how could this be!". Did reams of research into bibles, and found no simple, single answer. So I joined the ranks of the confused, and posted my feelings about that situation.
Read about it here:

The best advice I came up with, and don't recall the source, was, " pick a bible that you feel comfortable with, while reading it". That is what I did. Still do research into the various bible versions, but with a new awareness now. The bible I use, is of no consequence here, what you are comfortable with, is the question.

Yes, one should use a Bible one is comfortable with, but the choice should also be based on an educated decision. If you don’t have time to watch all 3 videos listed above, I’d suggest you watch just the last one. Towards the end of that video it becomes very clear that entire verses are omitted in some new Bibles. Then ask yourself whether you like to use an incomplete Bible.

Hi Melody,
What you say is correct. Entire verses and certain words are in fact omitted from bible passages. Is why I stated in my earlier post " That is what I did. Still do research into the various bible versions, but with a new awareness now."
So regardless of what bible version is being read or researched, the thought is now always there, that this may not be close to what was originally stated.
Did view the three videos, thank you for the links.
