I wander what makes us an individual? Is it Ego? Or maybe it is our Higher Self?
We all have Ego. Yet we are created in the image of God. Does it mean God has Ego? I doubt it. Maybe Ego is something we acquired after falling from the Garden of Eden. Maybe Ego is that what separates us from God.
Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden had their proper individuality, yet they had no Ego until they ate the apple from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Maybe going back to God will not deprive us of our individuality, but will simply transmute our Ego in such a way that our individuality can be expressed in total communion with God energies, Gods Love, and Gods Joy.
Hello All,
Had posted:
http://www.ourultimatereality.com/forums/expressing-god-t925.0.html;msg8724#msg8724Ego, from my take on the situation, (allows / grants) one, with individuality. Interesting as a question, is God aware, of the situation, that He/She/Source, functions/creates, is at the absolute top of the food chain! Sheesh, how to place words into a comprehensible sentence here. If, as we talk and ponder it, (we are all one) it would seem that God DOES have an ego, but an ego that is not in human terms (corrupted). Also would indicate that God is aware of Godhood.
What begs an answer though, is did we (give God) that ego that is (corrupted), as an awareness of it! From the human perspective though,(and one should not label God with human traits) we are God experiencing, than all the negative stuff man designs, is with Source also. I suspect that all the positive and negative stuff man designs, is held in God's unintegrated awareness, and only gets intergraded, periodically by what we call progression of the ages. Some what like the topic in this forum, the 2012 event.
Be Well
