What is the Spirit

Can some tell me what the spirit is. even after reading somethings i still in lost to wat it is exactly. saying it is the real you doesnt cut it for me, i need more to understand it. also where is it? does it say inside the body? where in the body does it stay?

Yes. And you would get as many answers as there are people on this planet.

So with that in mind, I am sharing my definiton of what Spirit is in word picture.

You know what wind is and have felt it. Have you ever seen the wind? I don't mean the evidence of wind as in blowing across your skin or through trees. While you cannot see it, you can in a sense by the evidence of it as I just described.

Our Spirit has no form, It is Energy. So Spirit is our animator in our bodies. Have you been to a funeral where the person's body is there yet they are not talking or moving as once before. Their Spirit has moved on and what remains is the vehicle that housed the Spirit.

While Spirit is in the body it permeates every part of it. This shows me that while the body is used to express or communicate Life and Love to one another, Life or Spirit is also beyond the body. This is what I mean that we really do not die, we shed our earthly vessels, yet the Being is ongoing Life Energy.

Bodies can become prisons for those with illness and when speaking to those who are experiencing illness you will hear them say they are ready to be free of it and go on. Really. They are understanding they will go on.

We are Eternal, never ending Beings of Life Energy contained within earthen vessels.

I would say that Julia hit the nail on the head.  Many ancestral cultures would call your 'spirit' your 'breath.'  It is that divine spark in which life can exist that can not be identified by modern medicine.  Of course now you get into the debate of what is a soul, astral body, conscious, higher-self, and will in relation to a spirit.  Many people have wonderful definitions but as Julia also said, there is no dictum for these things.  In order for that we'd have to come together, for example in a forum, and create a spiritual dictionary that every spiritualist (or at least majority) agreed on.  This is unlikely considering Scientists still can't agree on whether or not Gravity is real.

Ahhh Julia, Brandon how wonderful both you are. Julia you speak like a true soul your voice is like a day of spring, Brandon how wonderfully intellectual.

Yes Spirit is felt differently by different people because Spirit is the true expression of Source in human form, or through us.

For me I read your posts and I 'sense' your spirits, then I 'feel' your souls... I can't put it in words but try this: close your eyes, think of something really wonderful, something a memory trigger of bliss, anything... draw breath in you then go exhaling like: "mmmmmmmm" but in a way very much as the vibration of your lungs when you say om) but with mouth closed, from deep within your throat. That is the most sensitive moment when you should 'feel/taste' the Spirit. Is felt like a presence, sheer bliss. Then in time you come to sense it in others, you talk to them or you communicate and you just feel the wind, the air like movement of energy... 

Contact with Spirit requires total detachment from own thoughts, and that in-draw of restoring breath comes in handy at critical moments especially at all times lows.

I don't know if I have felt "spirit" or "soul" but I can definitely feel energy.  When I was doing a lot more meditation and energy work I could sit in my couch and see the energy rolling across the walls of the house.  But the description that you gave reminds me a lot of energy.  When you feel energy often times it feels like a low breeze rolling across your skin.

I thought the spirit had a form like our physical bodies. so it is not tangable its just conscious energy and nothing more?

they say that the spirit is within us. within like how? i also here talk of the spirit level being related to the quantum level or quanta energy or something or other.

Well, as I stated earlier there are many different 'debates' on 'definitions.' 

There is a spiritual body, or as some would call an astral body.  It's the same consistency as a ghost, or so we believe.  The Spirit refers to Vitality where as a Spirit refers to some being not of the flesh, usually one that has never lived in the physical realm, and a spiritual body refers to the astral body.

The astral body is what is used for out of body experiences.  It is also believed that the energy that you control with your will for a cleansing, blessing, or warding is an extension of this astral body.  When you 'feel energy' in a person it is believed to be the radiation of energy off a person's astral body or aura.  Normally the astral body resides inside of one's physical body unless one learns to move it separately.

An aura is an outer shell to the astral body that depending on the person depends on how thick or far from the body it resides.  I like to think of it like the 'rings' of 'Saturn.'  The rings represent your aura and Saturn is your astral body.  Aura reflects the person you truly are (some people believe it changes with your emotions(perhaps there's more than one aura?)) and is a protective shell from negative energy and psychic attacks.

A psychic attack is one person's "will," energy, aura or astral body, that influences an other's energy, spiritual body or even physical of ill intent.  Even though spirits and ghosts aren't considered psychic because they're already in an Astral state of existence, they can also do the same thing.

A chakra is an area of the body where energy pools and is attributed towards different things, like a spiritual organ.  They also allow energy in and out of the body.  Meridians are spiritual veins that flow throughout the physical body.

There at this point is no way to measure 'spiritual' energy but supposedly spiritual energy can send off thermal or electromagnetic waves that can be detected by thermometers and Electro-Magnetic Field Meters.

Oh. i just like having the right information thats all. i didnt know spirit was so complex as this. well among the normal everyday person these type of things could seem confusing but i thought the people of forums such as these would know more. so until we die no one really knows what it is exactly, only that it is part of us - another existance of ourselves

We have general terminology that we use for different ideas, but the spiritual anatomy can not be fully comprehended.  However, with the amount of spiritualists that have experienced similar things, we came up with our terms and definitions.  The definitions I have told you are widely accepted but as I also stated, there is no scientific backing for these. 

That's why you have to be careful when dealing with people in this field.  There is no certification for being psychic and there is no degree one can take in college, only things that help or border the field.

Lets see from Adrians book - the Soul is the Etheric and Astral body and the spirit is the Mental Body. The Soul is within the Astral Matrix and the Spirit is within the Mental Matrix.

Though I have no reason to disprove Adrians view on this, I personally believe the spirit to only be a form of Conscious Intellegent Energy, that being made in Gods true image - spirit. To get a feel of it, you should practice exercises such as Astral Projection and such.
