Hello everybody, I have been reading a bit about “applied” quantum theory and have come across lines that state that it is a unique way of controlling ones thoughts and bringing a powerful, quick and “wholesale” change in and around us. I would like you all to express your views on this and if you have something interesting to add, please do share!!!

Actually, as you state it, “applied” quantum theory physics is first the realization that our thoughts affect the world around us, everytime, all the time. It is an effective way to have (or more specifically, take back) control of your mind and utilize it in the most potential way. Thought is the essence of your personal power, and focused thought is laser-focused power. Quantum physics has been spectacularly successful (for westerners) in showing and verifying what eastern mystics have known for 2500 years. It is not our brain that gives rise to our consciousness; instead it is our consciousness, or mind, that creates everything – our “reality”. Greetings Andrew and Erisc,

Thank you for that link Andrew, very interesting indeed. I subscribed to the newsletter this morning.
I am glad you did such a clear job on describing the brain and mind not being the same, as many in my meditation classes have a hard time comprehending this idea.
I like how you described it.
I was glad to see all this coming to light in recent years, taking these principles out of the laboratory and into the mainstream of life. It also went a long way to making spiritual understandings more acceptable and explainable. I fully agree that this was all known by spiritual people centuries ago. There is a certain comfort in this union of spiritual and science, as knowing the Dali Lama was studying physics at Harvard University.
I think this union will advance humanity farther and faster than any known element in history. I have always been a fan of ' practical spirituality ' in that if what you are studying is not changing and enhancing your life - stop studying it, or at least look closely at how your applying this knowledge.
Raising my family was my laboratory for this, seeing clearly how these arts could make life better and more rewarding. It was an period of my life that was rewarding beyond description.
Most seek confirmation of practical application in profound ways. great epiphany's, mountain moving powers of miracles, yet in the everyday actions of us is where they are most noticed. Subtle changes of old habits, seeing our mundane chores as less taxing to our minds and spirits.
I look forward to these new sciences creating a population of Human Beings soon to be out of reach of the old paradigms, and out of control of the few that seem to dominate the Earth and its resources. We no longer see a need to change our lives and DNA by birth and rebirth, but by choice and will of the mind and heart.

The mind uses the brain and all its other organs as well, the heart, the solar plexus, endocrine system, and all organs truly serve the total mind. From atoms to the brain - it is all mind.

Hello Andrew and Erisc

It is nice to meet you both, you are my kind of people. If you look around Quantum and Metaphysics you shall see this is my domain. I love it here, I have so many Science oriented questions. I enjoyed your explanation Andrew and I completely agree.

Hello my older brother Darrell, lol sorry Julia started this.

A lot of people understands how a computer works. You can just say the brain like the motherboard, windows is like the personality and Internet is the Source. The Motherboard just holds the information, there was never a time when the information did not exist. The Brian is also like a Radio.

I didn't know that! What did the pope learn?

Are you saying we can change your DNA by will without reincarnating?

I believe this deeply. Everything is energy and everything is mind!
