My name is Gregory and I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I haven't chosen a handle like most others on this forum - handles are not compulsory are they?

I note that we are requested not to post anything contentious. To my mind all posts on a forum such as this can't help but be contentious. So many people with so many realities and truths. However, browsing through the various forums I find that all viewpoints are treated with respect and (so far) I haven't seen any posts making anyone "wrong".

Anyway, this seems to be a wonderful place to explore alternative truths and ideas and to expand my consciousness.

Adrian, time and again I see in your posts the admonition not to blindly accept all that you say, but to test everything and to accept only that which resonates with us. I like that. BTW, I loved your "nativity" newsletter!

I look forward journeying with you all for a time and to challenging various viewpoints and having mine challenged in return.

Welcome. Yes, many are expressing from their vantage point. We all experience that which is unique for us. All points of view are posted and shared, and they sure cover a lot of territory. When I ran into the seeking of truth, and why things so varied, when endeavoring to understand life and God, I blogged my thoughts in story form. Hello everyone


My name is Adam, 24 from Yorkshire in the UK - I am currently studying at Uni and I've been reading the forum on and off since a friend gave me a copy of Adrians book around a year ago. Very interested in everything that is posted here and my attitude towards everyone and everything has shown a marked change (i.e be nice to everyone and everything!) since reading the book.

My 'spiritual' quest as it where began properly around 2 years ago when I read Sophies World whilst travelling and this book led me onto more and more questions which I wanted to find answers to - many of these questions had been spiralling around in my head for 2 or 3 years beforehand but I thought I was just crazy for thinking these things that weren't in the realms of modern society!

What a wonderful and worthwhile life purpose you have. I looked up some of those pictures on your link. Nature is unbelievable isn't it ?? I am really moved by your dedication and looks as you are having a lot of fun also.

So tell me please the area you are to reforest - was there forest before? Is this property part of a conservation area? are there provisions to be protected in the future?

Last night I was talking with a friend telling him what a wonderful opportunity is this for those that are free (without children, family obligations etc) - is the perfect adventure. I am happy you get to do it. Do you have a website with info for those that want to enroll and join your program?/ I am sure a lot of young men and woman would like to learn more about it.

Yes well where to start. I am thirty four and live in australia, currently unemployed to care for my disabled mother so I am living the quite life for now.
That is not such a bad thing as I been able to spend more time learning. Something I havent really done enough of since finishing my trade in spraypainting a long time ago, and my interest range is quite large.
I also have an eight year old boy that unfortunaly I only spend time with every second week.

So that is a very breif disciption about me but the more I post the more you will learn, dont hesitate it you want to ask a question about anything as I dont mind.
