As always we are sending love and best wishes to our precious sister and Goddess of the Light Laura.
On the other hand, we have just re-established communications with Maurice M. Cotterell who is an archeologist and engineer. He spent many years of his life exploring the ancient ruins of the Mayan civilization and he is one of the two decoders of the Mayan calendar. He is the co-author of The International best seller: The Mayan Prophecies and is the author of The SuperGods which gives the history of the Gods who came to earth in order to initiate the spiritual evolution of mankind during this dark phase of the cycle of spiritual
evolution which we have described on our website www.soulmatecosmology.com and in our book “Soulmate Cosmology Action.”
He has discovered that there was an error made in the calculation of the 2012 date that everyone is now looking forward to; therefore, this date is in error and the world will most certainly not end or even have the great events described about by others in 12/21/2012; we have until 2042 to bring about a quantum leap in the consciousness of mankind. After this time, the earth will begin its re-terra-forming process in order to prepare its surface for the 2nd phase of the cycle of human spiritual evolution which will be the phase of Light that will be under the jurisdiction of the beautiful Goddess of Light and Love. This is the dual of the dark phase which we are now preparing to leave and which has been dominated by the God of War and spiritual darkness! However, it must be remembered that the darkness and the light are soulmates of each other, just as night and day are.
According to Maurice Cotterell, the 2012 date, which so many people are looking forward to, is based upon the Maya “Long Count” of 1,872,000 days (5,125.256674 years) as the end of a Maya time cycle’ that began in 3114BC and will end on 12/21/2012. The Maya counted in a base 20 system that today is called the Vigesimal System. The
First eight digits of the Vigesimal System have the following values:
1,280,000,000 64,000,000 3,200,000 160,000 8,000 400 20 1
However, the Maya used the following periods of time with which to measure time intervals:
Kinchilitun Calabtun Pictun Baktun Katun Tun Uinal Kin
1,152,000,000 57,600,000 2,880,000 144,000 7,200 360 20 1
where each time period is given a name. This is clearly not a Vigesimal System!
If the ‘Long Count’ of 1.872,000 days was expressed in terms of ‘time periods’, then it would be exactly divisible by all of the time periods. In fact, only one of the time periods divide into the long count: (1,872,000/144,000 = 13!). None of the others will do so as
illustrated below:

Therefore, we have indisputable proof that the long count of 1,872,000 days cannot represent a cycle, let alone the end of a cycle!
Immediately, when we took our first glance at the Maya time periods that Cotterell sent us, we recognized them to be the sacred frequency values of the musical notes in the Awesome Octave of Cosmic Music upon which all Soulmate Cosmological Action, both Creative and
Evolutionary, is based! Indeed, they are harmonics of the first six DO-intervals of the Cosmic Piano of Light!!!

The Light piano lies at the very foundation of evolutionary cosmic action processes!
Believe it or not, 144,000 NAUTICAL MILES/NEW SECOND is the speed of light in a system of seconds based on a 27 hour day (3 x 9)! Notice that the digits of all of the DO frequencies add up to 9 (have characteristic 9). This is just the beginning of the deep meanings that spring up out of the Cosmic Piano of Light!
The fundamental tenet of our Cosmology is that ALL INFINITE COSMIC ENTITIES ARE CREATED AND ANNIHILATED BY THE DUAL(GENDER CONDITIONED) ACTION PROCESSES OF THE COSMIC PIANO OF LIGHT!
Therefore, our dearly beloved sister, we are just beginning to develop our cosmologies which will continue to evolve eternally as our consciousness expands into the Light!

Very well could be, and there in lays the danger in setting dates and such.
When or if this does not happen in 2012, its a credibility issue, and people will think "Y2K" all over again.

Hi Talker,

That's very interesting.  Thank you for posting that information.  Hehe, seems like there's always a new date popping up somewhere.  Kryon also says nothing major will potentially happen on or around 2012, and says that a major transition or the next step in spiritual evolution will potentially occur gradually through several pivotal dates or transition points over the course of many years, but he (he doesn't claim a gender as he doesn't have one, I'm  just using one for the purpose of this post  ) always stresses that it's always entirely up to us how the transition will occur, which I agree.  Also it's channeled information, and while a lot of the information from Kryon has been accurate over the years there are several things he mentions in some of the channelings I don't agree with or I feel are incorrect.  So again, whatever happens in the next 4 to 400 years is impossible to know as the potentials are infinite.

When or if this does not happen in 2012, its a credibility issue, and people will think "Y2K" all over again.

Which is why people should not rely on a date to bring salvation or spiritual evolution.  A major change will happen when the majority realizes the changes come from within.  So the 2012 date that many people are focusing on as well as the 2042 date mentioned in the Science of Being quote above and even the entire Mayan calendar all together are irrelevant as far as spiritual evolution and development are concerned.  A major transition could occur on 2012, or on 2042, or sometime between 2012 and 2042 or way way after 2042, or could gradually and slowly occur over the course of several hundred years, but will only occur according to the collective consciousness of the global community.

It's much more peaceful to not focus on a date or time in general and just be as the wind and flow with life while staying the course towards perfection and just enjoy every moment of everyday while gaining experience within the physical realm and beyond.  If nothing happens within the next 5 or more years there's certainly no reason for anyone to be disappointed and blame predictions and prophecies for giving them false hope and ruining a potentially wonderful and exciting moment, which can be experienced individually at anytime anyway.  Life is more enjoyable when there is a constant focus on Love, peace, and happiness from both within as well as across the globe.

Also on a side note, it's very clear that major changes are happening already.  From what I have been observing it would appear people are increasingly waking up across the globe at a seemingly geometric rate.  Gaia herself is apparently going through increasing changes.  Personally I feel, intuitively, that a major transition will occur within the next few years.
