I think I will wait until new threads appear that focus on the various topics! 

I will say that I was unaware of "The Secret".  I will check into it further...

I know this topic hasn't been discussed lately, but I had to ask my question.  I'm a generally positive person, so the Law of Attraction makes perfect sense to me.  My only problem is that I haven't manifested anything yet.  It may have to do with my many desires.  I tend to think of them all at once, and I did notice from one of the earlier posts that it may be beneficial to focus on one thing at a time.  But is it possible to manifest many things at once?

Another thing I love to do is to write out small little stories about how I would like my life to be.  I start with waking up on a typical day in my dream life and ends with my going to bed after a perfect day.  It is a great way for me to really focus on what I want and really gives me a detailed picture of many of my desires.

Now sometimes I put a time frame on these stories(ex. this October, or next St. Patrick's Day) but many times I don't.  Would it be more effective to apply a definite date every time I write one of my visualization stories? Would it help the Universe to deliver what I want in an actual point of time instead of just the "future?"

Hi there will1123,

The universe doesn't know any such concept as the "future."  It operates in a perpetual state of NOW!  Referred to as the eternal now.  Thats why affirmations and things are always worded in the present tense.  And when you write your little stories(EXCELLENT way to involve the subconscious mind by the way) always phrase them like its happening to you as you write it...for an example..instead of I would wake up feeling this is going to be a great day...I wake up knowing this is going to be a great day.  And as you write them involve emotions. Feel what you would feel if what you were writing were actually happen, use creative visualization, but emotion is the most important fact of that. And feel gratitude for having everything you desire. 

And yes, it is possible to manifest more than one thing at a time...but its kind of like a computer.  If you have one program running, its quite fast.  But the more "windows" and programs you run or turn on or etc. the slower they all individually go.  So yes you can manifest more than one thing at a time, but in the long run that actually takes longer.

hi everybody... I just had to say i've watched the secret a number of times but it isnt exactly complete.

The best most complete source of information on the law of attraction is "The law of attraction" 5CD set by jerry and esther hicks. Its in book format too I beleive but to me the CD's are probly much better. EXCELLENT resource that leaves NOTHING out.

In fact they actually suggest an awesome practice called segment intending. Segment intending is where you identify throughout your day when your moving into a new segment of it and you set your intentions prior to get the best results out of that particular segment.

Ive manifested a few things here and there! I also find that there is a LOT of synchronicity around things that relate to personal jokes. Like it will just be a joke that me and my gf always make about one thing in particular say we joke about going to paris... we keep this up for a while and we find that everywhere we look is a picture of the eiffel tower!

What you put your attention to expands. Meaning, the Eifel tower has always been there in those places or circumstances you are encountering it right now, but since you were not thinking about it, it was in your blind spot. There is only that much our brain takes out of any perception situation. They are things one concentrates on.

Now, do an experiment, instead of Paris start joking around with your girlfriend about Mexico. You will be surprised how many Mexico references you will start coming across.

Its observation i know trust me but it definately does run a bit deeper than just lack of observation. One major synchronicity that always sticks out like a sore thumb is that my dad (for all my life that i can remember) whenever he parked in any car park he always made the observation that one of the cars next to him was either coming in or going out. Now this is a fairly common occurance in a parking lot but it happened 90% of the time... and he did observe it and point it out when it didnt aswell. When I found out about Law of attraction it struck me... he was always amazed by it that it happened 90% of the time which is more than average... thus he gave a lot of thought to it, the thought coupled with emotion was a powerful of attractor of the same circumstance over and over again.

Look up pelmanism if you're interested in developing your powers of observation! its kind of old but fairly magnificent in my opinion.
