This statement is not correct. There were many Christian saints that performed miracles.
I also disagree that people only take some teachings from the Bible and disregard the others. The Bible does not teach to be judgmental (as you stated earlier in this discussion thread), quite the opposite. It is not for people to judge. That prerogative is only God’s. And “judgment” might be a concept that we simply do not entirely understand. The Great Flood was a judgment of sorts, but it was only a natural disaster. The humans are supposedly “purifed” through such cleansing disasters. Is this therefore judgmental? I would not claim so.
The Old Testament is also a historical document and chronicles various ancient wars. Such parts of the Bible should be properly understood as historical documents and not as the teachings of God, which they are not.
