Dear All, I have been listening to my Enya CD collection this afternoon - again - and was inspired to listen to a song entitled - Pilgrim. I know my talk of Enya must get tedious - but her music and words come from a "different place". I have never, ever heard Enya music that did not influence me in some way. I was absolutely delighted to also find this one on Youtube, because apart from the music and the words Being Truly, Truly Beautiful - they remind us that we are all Pilgrims on the Same Eternal Path: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRWYrEnmXfIPlease listen to this - and the words - for me Enjoy. With Lots of Love, Adrian.

Beautiful song Adrian Enya is timeless and deeply soul moving. Thank you for sharing. Yes we are all pilgrims here and not knowing on which way to go which is the best... yet I found out that all paths are true and on which ever we happen to find ourselves that is the 'right' one for us. Or at least is up to us to make it right... when it doesn't feel like so. I also found out in our surrender we are all pilgrims and guides to each other. http://youtu.be/C8QJmI_V3j4much love pilgrim Laura

Such a beautiful song, Adrian. All of our journey's are ultimately going to the same place, some take the long road.. some the short, some run, some walk, some must experience extreme pain, others extreme beauty. Pilgrim, in your journey You may travel far, For pilgrim it's a long way To find out who you are... I feel as though I have... finally... And now, a deep longing to go home.. In Peace and Love, Ambient

In Peace and Love, Ambient Dear Ambient, Just a quick reply - just preparing myself some vegan food. Of course I agree. I think it is a shame when people just see music as "entertainment" - although that is what it it usually is - for profit. I have been through decades of music - the 60's- Beatles etc - the 70's - which I think will never be surpassed generally for great music - until now. To me though "real music" is that which stirs the Spirit and invokes a "Higher Feeling". For this reason, Enya is just about the only musician I listen to, or would grace my MP3 player The only other musician who I have any time for, although instrumental, is Mike Oldfield, who is a true musical genius. it has been fascinating to see his music evolve over decades, and I particularly like his album - "Music of The Spheres". Anyway - my dinner is nearly ready, and I do not wish to bore people here - too much anyway - with my musical musings With Lots of Love, Adrian.

Arrive there though All surely Will - as you so Beautifully articulated. I think this Enya song is beautiful and most appropriate in the words, message music and the amazing "ethereal" sound which is characteristic of Enya. Anyway - this is my final post for today - I am learning to recognise when enough is enough Until the 'morrow then, I will leave you with the words to "Pilgrim". I Love You All, Adrian. Pilgrim, how you journey On the road you chose To find out why the winds die And where the stories go.
All days come from one day That much you must know, You cannot change what's over But only where you go.
One way leads to diamonds, One way leads to gold, Another leads you only To everything you're told.
In your heart you wonder Which of these is true; The road that leads to nowhere, The road that leads to you.
Will you find the answer In all you say and do? Will you find the answer In you?
Each heart is a pilgrim, Each one wants to know The reason why the winds die And where the stories go.
Pilgrim, in your journey You may travel far, For pilgrim it's a long way To find out who you are...
Pilgrim, it's a long way To find out who you are...
Pilgrim, it's a long way To find out who you are......

Beloved Adrian, Yes much to reflect on those lyrics it does tell the life story and condition of the seeker doesn't it? You cannot change what's over But only where you go. yes it's true, in retrospect it turns out I never reached where I wanted to go, yet the Universe had a greater plan for me and I must say I am enjoying it very much although would have never chose this path with my mind of way back. Thus is the wisdom in that the path can be more significant than the destination. Will you find the answer In all you say and do? Will you find the answer In you?You know I thought I will I was always a very strong and resilient individual trusting myself so much to believe myself an island. Yet with enough humility I come to see I could never find the answer in me if not with a little bit of help from my friends. This song comes to mind. http://youtu.be/7oKS7gMenXc (With A Little Help From My Friends-Across The Universe Soundtrack - Joe Cooker) What is a teacher or a master without a pupil? What is a teacher (or a parent) who doesn't learn from the student (child)? Each heart is a pilgrim, Each one wants to know The reason why the winds die And where the stories go.Yes I did very much. Now I give up all knowing. Pilgrim, in your journey You may travel far, For pilgrim it's a long way To find out who you are...

Yes it may be the word surrender goes well with Pilgrim - or Infinite Patience Life is amazing isn't it? Wonderful deep insightful song indeed and what is amazing is that perhaps not even what I said above can be true next moment... Thank you for sharing this and as a note to myself I must learn from you when 'enough is enough' ..I think .. haven't made up my mind yet as I mentioned before I give up all knowing. Have a pleasant evening - I am looking forward to take our dog for a walk then at 8pm to receive my little girl back home from her school trip it is amazing how much happiness such simple things can bring. Much Love to you and all souls who happen to read this Laura

For this reason, Enya is just about the only musician I listen to, or would grace my MP3 player I couldn't agree more. If I might be so bold as to share my musical muse with you and the forum, Jane Siberry, who I'm sure many are already familiar with, but for those who might not be, browsing this forum and listening to her music is an experience beyond words.. Sorry for thread creep. I know you are discussing music, but I just had to comment on the photo of the Laura's dog, several posts above. It is so clear that is enjoying himself, just BEING, as Adrian would say. If only humans could all do the same!

Yes some Sufi music is very deep I am fortunate to have been introduced to it by a Sufi friend. Blessings to you. Sorry for thread creep. Oh yes indeed we learn 'being' from beloved divine creatures. They are never restraining themselves from being, loving ... yes if we can only be the same - ok I think I am ...call me crazy much love!! Laura
