The Bible as The Book of Life

The bible is what I now consider " The Book of Life". Of course that was not alway so. I've had my belief factors rattled and shook in many ways.  The ruts and valleys were deep and dark, as many belief factors were rubbing against the grain of common sense. Were a few occasions of challenge, about religion and my beliefs now, and beliefs previously held, by those unaware of my inner battles with belief factors.  But changes were taking place. There were no easy choices. My childhood beliefs were very well ingrained. Were many moments of "watch out for a bolt of lightening from the heavens on what I'm now thinking".Sounds humorous now, but not at the time it was happening. So, as the new found God beliefs took hold, didn't talk much about it. As I entered the world of computers (do have an electronic background) research on various subjects was facilitated, and was pleased with it all. Some what difficult to convey all of "what my beliefs were", to the family, in our family get-togethers. So in came the Blogs. Beautiful way to leave a hard copy of beliefs and experiences. So thats what did happen. How they receive it belief wise is up to them. How I view the bible now is a night and day difference from my childhood teachings and that which was passed on to them. So be it.
There is an immense wealth of information here on this forum. Don't overlook the value in them.
