Spiritual Evolution - how is it "measured"?

Thank you for your beautiful and sensitive expression, of your poetic soul!

Yes, we know that you are One with nature, and feel it intimately. We all are, but some much more aware of it than others.
I like storms too, they are fascinating unleashing of natural forces, and truly feel energizing for humans too.

Indeed we should remember to look at each day and everywhere around with deep joy, gratitude and Love for all creation. In my best moments, I wake up in the morning with this feeling, of another blessed day beginning and unfolding in my life, and with the desire to not waste any moment of it by not being 'alive', present and grateful for the miracle of life.
Then I radiate love for myself and for All That Is, and life rewards me with happiness in outside 'reality' too.

I believe that the difficulties I encounter, which sometimes make me forget about the joy of living, are really only opportunities to exercise my spiritual power and evolve as human.
I recently pay more attention to accepting that undesirable situations exist in my life. Seems that denying and rejecting them only create resistance, and they are enforced.

By acknowledging them and bringing them to the light, I think we give a message to our Higher Self, subconsciousness and Universe, that we desire change.
I try to focus on solution, not on the "problem". And seems to work, and 'issues' are solved one by one, bringing always more awareness of our powerful, spiritual, divine nature.

I enjoy deeply your sharing here, and the feeling that we belong to this community, spiritual family, and each of us brings the contribution of his life experience, feels free and comfortable to open his heart.

All that we read anywhere is of no real use until we apply it in our daily life. Only then, can we see if it "works" or not.
I am one of those who dare to put theory into practice, and have seen important changes in my life. Keep my trust that is all unfolding in divine order, to our Highest Good.

I use storms especially lightning/thunder as an opportunity to do a recharge of my energy through my Chakras. I funnel out the negative energy and have great gains in my positive energy recharge. I welcome them with excitement for their arrival.

Hi All,

I am InJoying the wonderful thoughts being shared here by everyone participating! I appreciate you all.

We have been experiencing consistent thunder storms rolling through here in the Kansas City area and just last night I stepped out onto my front porch to watch it. I love storms too! They are very cleansing and alter by aligning the energies.

A lightening bolt fired off close by and I felt its electricity permeate throughout my body and said, Yes! The loud cracking of thunder affirmed the vibration I felt. A chakras cleansing moment. Opening all channels.

It is invigorating and leaves me in a Lighter state of Being.

Hi Louis, I had heard of this woman yet have not viewed any information on her. So, as to my 'avatar' it just expresses so well in picture form my ongoing state of releasing by keeping my hands, heart and mind open ~

Good morning, Beloved Talker and All Friends!

Indeed, I have read that post in your blog, few months ago, and enjoyed it very much.

This is how things happen in our life, with amazing synchronicity. I, like all "only humans" worry sometimes for the "big issues" of my life, but then notice in wonder how even smallest details are perfectly guided, and all fit into place exactly.

Lots of aspects of life could be much better, and I approach them one by one - the very important ones - according to the guidance I get, and how the doors open for them. When a door opens, everything needed is available.
Other doors seem to not open as I wish to, but I know the power of the Universe, and how things can change in a moment, for life here is not what it appears to be.

I'm lucky to be in good and higher energy for few days, and in such periods my faith is huge, and enthusiasm strong. These are the times for progress, when I vibrate in tune with my desires. And can appreciate the beauty and wonder of life, the  Love of my Friends, the Oneness with All.

I loved the ACIM newsletter which Julia shared yesterday. I get it too in my mailbox, but am lazy at reading it sometimes. What I recall from it, is to stay permanently in touch with the Holy Spirit, let all problems be divinely guided and solved, and, besides all, in times of trouble, to affirm the Truth: "I AM One with God".

This works good in health issues. When I can stay centered and live in Spirit, my state is above physical pains. I am detached from them. When I forget the Truth, I suffer, especially in times of excesses upon my body and mind.

I am very grateful and happy for the Love received from my wonderful Friends! Life is a miracle, if we only awaken to this awareness, and are able to maintain it in our hearts.

The idea of Holy Spirit may seem to another to be a 'religious' idea yet it really is not. I am just highlighting here the idea of Holy Spirit as being defined in this newsletter sharing;

... So you have to get down to and correct the underlying thought that is robbing you of your awareness of Peace. (For example, revisiting the experiences you have had of the Holy Spirit to reaffirm its Presence, or reminding yourself that the Holy Spirit is the True you and therefore cannot reject you).

It can be said in many different ways, such as Higher Self or Holy Spirit ...

This is what is meant by we are never alone.

This topic has been discussed for thousands of years, you can find the sages of the history talking about the spiritual stages of one's cultivation, and how to go to the next level etc. The eastern schools call it kung fu i believe, they are the development, or rather the progress of your practise. There are several kung fu 's' that comes to you, and as i said the sages talk about them ( i am no expert at this , atleast i am cultivating my way ). Anyways what i really think you should do if you're serious about your spiritual path and seek knowledge (and experince), is to check this e-book out 'How To Measure And Deepen your spiritual foundation' it's written by William Bodri and his master Nan-Huai Chen. The Book is of a great deal trust me, although i only read one chapter (D:) but i used the info there to build on my spiritual foundation. Also they have on the websites other books and lots of articles. I hope this helps.

Doing followups, generally show that these 'free download gifts of value' are merely advanced ads for material at higher prices. Your right to visit those sites is respected.

It is important to be careful what we attract. If link placement were not moderated then it could easily become an affiliate playground as opposed to a temple of spiritual awareness. I appreciate your understanding thoughts shared here. I agree, I did not sense that Prince hisoka's intentions were to to be used in any other matter than to share. These things happen, I overlooked removing something of this very nature a few days ago myself until it was brought to my attention and I immediately removed it.

Being very sensate I have 'learned' to follow my intuits whether they always 'make sense' to me or not in the moment. Peace is the indicator of following my leading. I leave the hows and the results to Source.

Thank you again John, and everyone for understanding my purpose here in what I followed through on. LOVE is truly my underlying intention through the remaining open to Honest communication with 'GOD or Source'.

I don't know what it is talked about here recently, as could not cope with everything going on...

Therefore, just want to assure everyone of my Love and appreciation, and dissipate the clouds of sorrow through the vibration of my heart.

I am progressing, cause I finally chose to take care of myself and take a break and rest, rather than become overtired by taking care of others.

I Love to be Loved, and I am (seemingly) Loved only when I'm centered. Then miracles happen and everybody adores me. When I'm exhausted and attached, nobody remembers of me...Nobody likes me...

The control upon the Love that we experience in our outside reality is within our hearts. Those who want to feel loved, stay relaxed, rested, and put yourself before all others. You deserve your greatest Love.  All others are as capable as you to take care of themselves.

I've learned my most precious lessons and evolved, during the periods when I was left alone, with myself, to seek for Love and answers in my heart.

I still have a great wonder: when we live completely in Spirit, centered, enjoying Self Love and not "needing" anyone, what can motivate us to have sentimental relationships?
Why should I make love with someone I don't need? What's that complication good for?
If we are both so "unattached" as to leave whenever we wish it, and Love another soul, and not suffer a bit for not being together anymore, than why stay together and make love in first place, and not choose to meditate or chat with friends instead?

My human mind can't yet comprehend how a relationship between a God and a Goddess functions and feels.

With the experience, pain and joy I gained so far, seems better to be as distant as to Love everybody without commitment, and enjoy the Love of all that feel touched by your heart.

But, I have a hunch, that when we don't expect and "need" Love anymore, and feel happy by ourselves, the true "soulmate" appears, and will adore us for the rest of our life...

Till I reach that state, I Love and enjoy Love in human and unconditional fashion. It makes me more God.

Yesterday, thinking of you, Beloved Friends, I could tell myself: "I feel Love. I AM LOVE" - as Dearest Talker tought us recently...

Dear John,

I first read a "spiritual" booklet in 2002, than read very few till July 2007, when started reading the books which Adrian provided.

Almost nothing more. Haven't watched more than 1-2 Abraham-Hicks (they were delivered in a recent course about abundance - the only one I've ever taken for fun), and first heard about Marianne from Julia.

Did not watch or read "The Secret" so far. I'm only aware of what forum members post here, and rarely follow the links to go into details.

I am subscribed to few newsletters recommended by my Friends, which supply me with stuff for rising vibration.

Being God rings and feels TRUE to me. I accepted it immediately without need to get scientific proofs. It comes from within. I re-membered it when I heard it. It took very little "study" to grasp it joyfully.

I have moments of sorrow, because I'm cleansing, but also moments of Oneness. And lots of LOVE.

Thank you Father, for US, who are Awakened, and expect our Highest Good by simply allowing it to flow into our lives.

How blessed you are Leila, that you did not require excessive study, or scientific proof... and that your awareness comes purely by way of "connection", directly to source. Perhaps this is why , even as one who HAS studied much, I am so humbled and moved by your powerful words, which are not filtered through the intelectual channels of knowing but straight from ABBA, our loving father.

You are one of his (IT's) endeared ones.

What is left of the original "book of mary" after thousand of years of decay... tells us that:

The disciples often wondered why Jesus would spend so much time alone with Mary, teaching her things that they had no knowledge of. Peter at one point said "He loves you most among women", and Thomas piped in "Correction Peter, he loves her more than anyone amongst all of us men and women included".
Peter became jealous because she spewed forth knowledge directly from Jesus, which had been shared in private with her, and not in the presence of the others.

I believe it was for her faith and adoration that his special secret wisdom was bestowed directly upon her in this way... she understood things that the disciples could not comprehend.

Blessed are you Leila who has been able to believe without seeing. The "secret" is like "cotton candy"... not very meaty, but fit for those are just newly awakened, you will find much more wisdom here within this forum than in all of the other reading. Truly the wisdom that is shared here is from a culmination of all those teachings, only more highly evolved... as we march forward, and each day are farther along in our grand procession toward the infinite.

There is no pride in knowledge, that only puffs us up, what is to be desired are connection, joy and a living a life which is overflowing in the "Fruits" of the spirit.

You are more advanced than most that I know my friend, or even many of the writers of the books I have read. I myself could write a book, and it would be meaningless as to making me an "authority". I just injoy sharing my growth experience for others benefit...doesn't make me wise at all, or doesn't make my words universally true, only makes them "my" truth, and I am just "willing to share", as you are as well, and your thruth is just as profound and enlightening. I should like to think I could be more like "Leila" myself.

There is no hierarchy, we are all one. Knowledge is power, sure, and it makes us sound so "authoritive"...lol  but "knowing without knowledge", is higher power, it is being one with God.

I would trade half of my knowledge for the the ability to speaka sa beautiful a language as you and Julia do.

She and yourself have in common that both speak words which feel as if they are coming directly from the mouth of god (for lack of a better term". I love you both and the sound of your words, and the way they touch the heart. You and Julia communicate even more beautifully than the poetic and powerful words of many of my favorite philosophers and teachers.
