Thanks for sharing Freedom.  There have been numerous studies about the effect of smiling or laughing, even if it's "fake."  They have found that even when forced, smiling or laughing can greatly increase one's mood and overall physical health.  So laugh away.

Here are 3 jokes for you:

A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work.
As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was.
The girl replied, 'I'm drawing God.'
The teacher paused and said, 'But no one knows what God looks like.'
Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, 'They will in a minute.'



One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink.. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.
She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, 'Why are some of your hairs white, Mum?'

Dear Brandon, Freedom and all,

I will be honest, I do not like images of animals in captivity or 'changed' by humans .. it doesn't make me 'happy'. I would not do onto others what I don't like to be done onto myself.
If I had my free will and instant wishes there would be no zoos, marineworlds etc. in the world - only perhaps animal sanctuaries.

I do not like any form of 'captivity'.  Sorry but on this one I cannot share in your fun.

I may not approve of mistreating or caging animals either, but that doesn't mean that I can't think the animals are still cute.

I liked your list. I only give real smiles. A smile can make a huge difference in someone's day. I know a smile from a stranger can make me happy, I still remember smiles from years ago, from people I have never ever come across again. So, everytime I think of their smile, perhaps I am sending love to them. I hope so. I even remember when I was about 4 or 5, some kids older than me ( about 11, I think) , said I was cute and offered me some sweets/candy. I was too young to know if I should take it, so I didnt and hid behind my mother, lol! 
And yet, I remember their smiles!!! Smiles mean the world to me.

I put this topic up and noOne has hardly visited... I guess that is why I got a bit ... well... silly... Sorry, Talker and thanks for coming in and commenting.


Laura, the pic's that Brandon and I put in are just cartoons. They are not real. They are not insulting animals. I would think that everyOne on this forum loves animals to bits!!!

(And remember that what you resist, persists. I think it was Al Einstein said that... and I think dear Adrian reckons that too.)

We are not having "fun" at our beautiful animals  expense.. You know that i love my cat and Brandon loves his fishies. Please dont be judging... I might lose my happy thoughts
