Ok I am somewhat of a baptist and am aiming towards following the Christian belief. I was wondering for all those here who are already aware in such spiritual life styles. Is there such thing as the devil? I mean for real now. No more lies, who knows for sure?

I am not exactly sure what you are asking here. I have personally never experienced little or big Alien like looking beings, or Voldemort type...lol... and No I personally don't believe they exist. And that's why I never get to see them.

The Devil exists as only as the power that you give to it. This power is only an aspect of your Ego. Or, physical attachment.


What people define as Lucifer, Devil, Satan has many forms, but what I would call as such is simply the 'factor' that makes one stray away from truth, Light, from the Divinity in us. From Love....


So, to anyone that reads this, remember that every time you experience anything that you perceive as Evil have trust that there is a greater power than that, reclaim the love at your core and all the darkness shall dissipate instantly.



At all times we have the choice of allowing Light or Darkness in us, to work in us, through us. To Love or not. Every time we stray away from Love or from being unconditionally loving we allow darkness thus we give life to Evil. That also happens every time when we are tempted to dwell in negative thinking.

I'll give my thoughts on the Devil; however, as with all spiritual questions, you will have to take what others offer and then search within yourself.

As in all Truth and in Christianity we are taught that God is ominous, omnipotent and omniscient, meaning God is everything and there is no-thing and no-where that God is not, meaning if there were a being called the Devil it would also be an extension or expression of God, like you and I.

But this doesn’t make sense; as you ponder just remember there is no place and no thing that is not God.
So who/what is the devil?

I think the devil is a concept, it starts with the concept of duality, a belief that we are separate from God;
Evil and the Devil is a belief that we separate from God, evil is to the degree of belief in distance from God.

The Devil is the minds own creation that only has the power you give it.
Is it real, yes, does it have power over you? The power you give it, how do you give it power? Excepting the illusion of duality hence Fear, indulgence, guilt… Believing your self-doubt, your resistance to Truth.

Why does the Bible teach about the Devil?, I think it is to help you to see or realize that your self-doubt is a lie.

Dearest Goonie,
  Many people have given you wonderful input along with some witty puns.  Most of which I can't disagree with.  Just like Brent and yourself I too was raised Baptist.  My Grandfather on my mother's side was Dean of the Second Baptist Church of Cedar Springs and my father who was raised Roman Catholic decided to become Baptist while I was still a twinkle in his eye.  Due to this I am very familiar with the NIV and to his, my father's, dismay I have released my first book analyzing the Bible that didn't turn out the way most Christians would like.  I would like to consider this area as my expertise and the first few chapters in my book are about the Devil, Demons, and Hell.  That can be found at Illuminati and can be read for free.  I promise it's not too boring and it's straight to the point  .  Once again, I refrain from retyping what has already been written when I host it for free, but I am not against answering more questions or going more in depth on the subject.  I hope this is helpful.

Yea i guess everyone here does have good inputs. however, i get tired of people trying to tell me whats what with out any proof. to be hones i do this out of respect for the family and all. i dont really believe in the devil as of yet and the same goes wit god. u hear it all the time, god will punish thee, god will judge thee, smite you down and all the jibberish talk. i thought god was just a fairy tale when i was little boy. the older i got the more serious it became.

the devil was said to be the oposite of god right. yet if he doesnt exist then what is influencing humans to behave in horrible manners.

Hi Everyone,

I see that everyone has put in some very good thoughts on what they feel and know to be the Devil and God.

Goonie, the reason why the whole "Fear God" came to be is because of religions and the dark forces wanting to control man by using man's greatest most sought question, "Who is God and why are we here?". By allowing Fear of God and the Devil, we allow "them" to control our lives that we become slaves to their systems of living.

My thoughts on the Devil is that the Devil is all the negative aspects of this dual world especially Fear for Fear is the opposite of Love, God. Hell is the exact same thing but rather a state of the planet, surrounding, and mind. This is why the Bible says if you commit sins you go to Hell meaning if you do or think negative you attract negative things that seem like Hell through the Universal Laws of Attraction and Karma. Hell only happens Now in the current life time and not after life as it is only a concept created by Man for this dual world but it can affect your next lifetime on Earth.

The Devil and Hell are great things to have here. Why? Because without them we would not be able to experience in order to learn.

I heard only the bad aspects of the Illuminati and Freemasonry which is part of the Dark Forces. One of their "Holy" numbers is 13 which is found a lot on the American Dollar because money is the Devil. Look at a dollar and see how many 13s you can find in words and items.

Illuminati is the name I have chosen for my book that I've written on the bible.  I figured it a fitting name because it means in Latin to "illuminate" or to shed light onto something and the Illuminati were also a rumored secret society that knew the truth about Jesus or religion as a whole and kept the 'truth' safe so that atleast one person would know how things really were.  In my book I address so many things that former/current Christians bring up here along with some of the other spiritual stuff (like free will).  I wrote the book for the sole purpose of people like yourself.  People who were raised Christian, question why, and want answers, and want answers now (hence my attempt at keeping it short and to the point).  I think it would be helpful for your quest and that is why I offered it, and of course I'm a bit biased because I wrote it, but it is the information that I used when I first decided to no longer be a Christian myself, years prior.

As I've mentioned in previous posts, likeness attracts likeness, if you have ill intent then ill intent will find you.  There is no 'evil' and there is no 'good.'  People are capable of doing both good and bad things, who is qualified to decide whom is good and whom is bad?  Policemen beat their wives and stoners show love and care towards their growing kids.  We, humans, decide what we think is right and wrong and judge other people for not being like us.  That is what 'evil' is, diversity.  If you do not fear it then there is nothing to fear.
