Reiki - Subtle Energy Healing

Hi James,

Thanks for sharing your experiences, and those of Sarah, with Reiki energy.   That is a wonderful aspect to Reiki, that it can channel specific healing where it is needed most, such as when Sarah channels the Reiki energy which relieves her friend's migraines. Reiki is an energy with which, as you've said, positive results occur.

Also, on the Reiki forum that I'm a member of ( http://www.sharereiki.org/sriforum/index.php ), there is a subforum called: Crystals and Reiki. I have a lot to learn on so many subjects, and this is yet another where I need to learn more. From what I've read so far, it does seem that crystals used in combination with Reiki, would be quite helpful.

Using reiki in combinations with crystals works VERY well.
Late last year I attended a weekend crystal healing workshop run by my reiki master. The results were sensational!

What I learned was to work with the chakras themselves to heal and make whole a persons energy body. Placing crystals over the chakras that are specific to that chakra, ie carnelian over sacral, sodalite over throat, etc., reiki energy is effectively focussed, amplified and attuned to each chakra. The process basically looks for weaknesses and "junk" in the energy body, and uses the crystals to heal and fill in the holes, making the energy body full and strong.

Crystals are most interesting.

There is no doubt that crystals innfluence the various energy centres of the body. For example we know that quartz possesses "piezo electric" properties which after all is why it is used in clocks and watches.

There is also the "association" effect as well. For centuries crystals have been associated with certain powers, and while people believe that it will be a reality. It is the same with all faith healing, it is a matter of belief. This is like the healing waters at Lourdes for example. Lourdes in an of itself has no healing properties, but because people believe they will be healed by the waters then so they are.

This is the basis of creating all reality including healing. If you focus on whatever you wish for in the present tense, knowing it to already be a fact, then so it will be. As a man thinks, so he is.

This is particuarly true for example where people keep green crystals such as aventurine to attract money. The crystal does not attract money. Obviously money being "green" is a human construct which leads to the use of green crystals to attract money. It is in fact the belief that green crystals attract money that results in the money being attracted, not the green crystal itself.

I do find crystals a fascinating subject however, and there is no doubts about their value in healing.

Yes, absolutely there’s the belief behind the healing at work here. Once again a testament to the power of the mind over the physical.

Interesting though that another popular stone for prosperity is Citrine – an orange stone.

My wife Sarah fully believed that most crystals were working basically through placebo effect, until after her reiki attunements she found herself stating to become drawn to certain stones, then feeling the “modifications” they were having to here energies. This was without knowing what the crystal was or what it was supposed to do

The piezo electric / vibrational qualities you mentioned, I believe are exactly what its about. Different varieties of quartz with different elements or impurities in them vibrate to different frequencies. Take the fact that our chakras are all working on different frequencies, put the two together and you have something workable.

It’s particularly interesting when you can see and feel a persons aura. Apply a bit of energy to it and you can see an overall effect on the persons aura. Sarah calls it the paracetamol effect – general purpose medicine that goes where needed.  Introduce a crystal of particular colour to a chakra of the matching colour, then apply the reiki and you see a much more pronounced increase in the levels of energy in that chakra.

As you can guess, for this reason it’s really important not to just work with one crystal on one chakra, but work with all, starting with the heart ( the “centre” of the energy body) and make sure everything is in balance.

Hi, I'm reiki practitioner for 4 years now. Reiki is real and if you have doubts you can test it.

Before I went to the reiki 1 course I was a bit sceptical. How can you learn something so fast and everybody learns it, no exception. The other thing that worried my was the price, it seemed high and I was worried that I was going to be "ripped off". "This could be scam" went through my head when I was wondering whether to go or not to go to reiki 1 course. But I did, because I reasoned that if it is not a scam, then I have much more to gain, than what I have to lose if they just take my money. So I did go and now I'm glad I did.

After Reiki 1 course I didn't feel any different that before attunement, so I asked our teacher how can we know that now we have this mysterious reiki energy flowing through our hands. She said: "If you have doudts, do this test. Take one fresh tomato and cut it in half. Put one half in a plastic bag and the other half to other bag. Mark the other bag with pen and keep the halves in a same place. Give the marked half 5 minutes of reiki everyday and see what happens as time goes by"

Well I did that. I did however use a bread instead of tomato. I gave the other half 5 minutes of reiki daily and didn't touch the other one at all. Well, you propably guess what happened, the reiki-break didn't go bad. I mean after couple of weeks the other half of bread was one pile of mould. You couldn't even see the bread anymore. The other half was just fine. Pretty amazing and that did prove me that reiki is real, and that I had the ability to give it.

I have seen the healing power of reiki many times since by giving reiki treatments, but  that test gave me much self confidense at the start. I have also developed energy sensitivity and now I can easily feel when reiki is flowing through my hands. It feels a bit like when your leg goes asleep and when the circulation comes back it tingles. It's pretty much like that, but much milder feeling.

I just wanted to share my experience with reiki, if there is someone who is wondering whether to go to reiki course or not or is wondering is it really real.

Thank you very much indeed for your post.

All Energy healing is very real indeed. and no would should have any doubts about that. Reiki is very well known, but there is also Pranic Healing which is extremely powerful.

We must also keep in Mind that we all not only have the power to heal others, but we also have the power to heal ourselves. The only true healing is inner healing by focussing the same Universal Energy of which we are a integral aspect.

Hi Adrian, and others,

the question always in my mind, and that is, why we should go to spend some money to do Rieki, pranic and other healing Courses, or buy crystals, and spend time reading energy healing books, if the believes is sufficient to cure and heal us on all aspect?

My self I spend great time last year reading about the healing powers, I am using Rieki, crystal for healing, but do I need all of this if I just remain with power of belives?
