Many raw vegans go even a step above and consume a lot of so called “Superfoods” that through ages have shown to be beneficial to health and stamina.
Superfoods, though desirable, are not absolutely necessary. One can get a lot of nourishment from dark green leafy vegetables, especially if picking the wild variety.
Talk to the elders in the area where you live, maybe they can guide you to the edible wild plants and greens. Those are far more potent than the cultivated varieties. They also carry the most of the local energy in them, and will connect you energetically to the region where you live.
But for those who would like to find more about superfoods, and how to consume them, here are 4 videos with Shazzie.
She speaks of Goji berries, which are considered to be one of the superfoods. I was told on several occasions that Goji berries, grown in Tibet, are just a variety of ground cherries that grow in tempered climates, and are orange, rather than red. Shazzie also mentions the fact that Goji berries grow wild in the UK. So those of you who live in the moderate climates and have a bit of lend can grow your own supper berries. Apparently, it is easy to grow them.
