Since this topic is on the subject of a Vegan Diet, I am happy to report I have just enjoyed a Tofu Madras Curry - on the spicy and hot side  - with wholegrain rice.

I eat a lot of curry - the hotter and spicier the better Smiley

For "desert" I am having Wasabi dried peas.

In Love, Light and Service,

Adrian.

Thanks for the heads up.  So far I haven't been able to appreciate Tofu.  But Curry is good.  Hot and spicy is good. Have to give it a try!   smiley

Siòn

Tofu needs to be prepared well before use because it is generally packed sealed with water.

We press ours for a coule of hours before use by placing a block of Tofu between kitchen towel and placing a heavy weight such as a stone mortar and pestle on top.  The kitchen paper needs to be changed frequently due to the amont of water extracted.

In Love, Light and Service,

Adrian.

Okay, I tried that and it definitely works. Thanks for the "revelation"!  grin

I do not eat a lot of Tofu - mostly natural products.

But sometimes Tofu - and other "reconsituted" products make a change, especially since my two - non-Vegan - sons prefer it since they are not eating meat.  My youngest, Vegan, son is like me - it makes no difference what the "texture" is.

I do eat a lot of curry - Indian and Thai - the hotter and spicier the better - usually with rice - because not having a sense of taste - or smell - I can appreciate it. I can sense spicy foods, salty, sweet, bitter etc  - but that is about it.

That said - I never eat for enjoyment - only nutrition - but we are a family of four so we generally find a "happy medium" Smiley

In Love, Light and Service,

Adrian.

Reading your post Adrian it dawns on me to be even more so grateful for the senses we have and enjoy.

I am in my second week of weaning from coffee and I am doing pretty good with occasional migraine flares and so on. It amazes me how much in  this fast paced world we resort to additives to 'fool' the body messaging for time-outs and rest in order so we can perform better.

Interesting when I write to you Adrian, when I connect my body enters in typical spontaneous healing Kryias  (small involuntary movements that arise when boy enters in deep awareness) .... time for sleep soon these past years my typical sleep times were 1...2 ..3 am could never get things done before that.

Much love

Laura

My Dear Laura,

Ahhh... coffee....interesting substance Smiley

I typically drink two mugs per day of Espresso - in the morning - and that is it.

I have an Espresso machine - which grinds the beans as well - and after trying many different beans have settles on Starbucks "Fair Trade" Dark Espresso beans.

I think coffee is fine - in moderation Smiley

As for the senses - it is a big Life Challenge for me.

I used to enjoy smelling the "simple" things in Life, such as Hyacinth's when they bloom, freshly cut grass and of course Rose's Smiley

These are just but a treasured memory now.  My sinus's and other "nasal structures" have been destroyed due to the severe allergies I experience - my lungs are not in a good state either - but I have no regrets.  These are but physical senses.

Instead I am Grateful for what I Have.

I had my eyes tested recently - my first ever eye test in 56 years - and my vision is better than 20:20  - so there is something to be Grateful for Smiley

My hearing is basically fine, but when my allergies are particularly pervasive, my ears fill with fluid as well as my eyes, nose and lungs - but nothing that bothers me at all.

Physically, aside from the allergy related issues, I am in Perfect Health - again for which I am Most Grateful.  I never become "ill as such" - never get "colds or 'flu".

It is not the details of the health Experience that matters, it is our attitude to that Experience and how we react to it Mentally and Spiritually.

My Dear Late Father was/is a massive inspiration on these matters.

I am most happy to hear of my "healing influence".  I wish I could Heal The World.

With Lots Of Love and Joy,

Adrian.

Hi Adrian,

What are your views on Coffee? It is a mind-altering substance and I thought you did not consume any mind altering substances. Wouldn't coffee make Astral Projection harder to experience? I don't usually drink Coffee and I heard it has both benefits and detriments.

What type of coffee is healthy to drink and which coffees are bad for you?

I just want to know if I should start drinking it or not.

Would like to know anyone's views on coffee.

Dear David Smiley

I'm off coffee now for a month - my reason giving it up was that it was masking my body awareness in terms of not knowing the limits of my exhaustion. I had other reasons too one being spiritual - as I don't like to think that anything in this material world has power over me in terms of being addicted.

I remember once I read it has effects on pineal gland in calcification of the crystals - I never had time to follow on that with accurate research though - I am thinking people like you may do that one day - study thing that impact our being in terms of spiritual evolution.  Smiley

Looking forward actually!!

much love

Laura

Dear David,

I wouldn't worry too much about the occasional cup of coffee, if I were you. The risk is when your body becomes dependent on it, by taking too much over a long time.

My dear wife and I have just one cup of coffee a day, after lunch. I usually astral project in the later afternoon, so the coffee doesn't seem to affect that!

At other times of the day, we have green tea or mineral water.

Why does this have to be a challenge? If you WANT to eat only fruit, grains and vegetables and do so then notice that it has been 40 days then that's what you did. However why should anybody have to "give something up"? I don't think it's some type of virtue to give up a particular food that you like if it happens to be available to you.

The topic has been switched to coffee or caffeine so I'll go their. Caffeine has the effect of making you more alert and awake. Some people can't wake up without it. As far as Astral Projection or Out of Body experiences. These are only hallucinations and Caffeine does not cause hallucinations. Right now you're going to think up a argument to use against me to bring me back into Adrian's cult of the Supernatural. Adrian has a explanation of OBE's and AP in which Science is included as being inept in providing proof for OBE's and AP. So it's not going to be easy for me to snap you out of Adrian's deception. Other then saying this is wishful thinking, and faith based I'll give you an analogy.

In my analytical conclusion I have determined that the mind is the relationship of the brain and body to it's environment. That means that without a brain and without a body there is no mind. If you suffer from brain damage would it be logical to believe that their is a copy of you in the "Astral Plane" without brain damage? If yes then is their a version of you in the Astral plain that is smarter then you are now? You believe you're be "all knowing" in the after life. If you're all knowing as God is all knowing wouldn't you also be all powerful as God is? Why hasn't anyone come back to life as all knowing and all powerful? I'm sure everyone would prefer that over being timeless, space-less and without a body. Your physical brain is going to brake down. Your mind is to the body as the Flagellum is to the single Cell. The Flagellum is a whip like appendage that is a sensory organ and it moves the cell. This is how a cell knows if there is food outside of itself and if it needs to move away from something harmful. When dealing with a organism which consists of a synergistic relationship of trillions of cells each with their own function this biological mega corporation must survive. It being aware of it's surroundings through the 5 physical senses (the only senses you have) in order to avoid destruction and survive is "you". You're not everybody because you're not the Flagellum of anybody else body. Nor are you aware of every bodies individual needs. So without the body there is no you.

You might prefer to believe in an after life. However I can not allow you to continue to delude yourself into thinking that this is not your one and only life. Far to many of you are putting your life on hold wishing for a better reincarnation and I think it's very sad. According to Adrian in the Astral Plane beyond time and space you're already "there". I ask you this. If you are already "there" how come you're not aware of it? And I am going to go one step farther and say if you are not "aware" of that Astral person then he or she isn't you. Also how can somebody that is timeless and space-less exist? Which is the difference between being timeless and space-less and not existent?

Now lets pretend that you have a wife and three kids, your wife and three kids dies and she is now living in the Astral plane. You fall in love with another women and marry her. Then you Astral project to the Astral plane and tell your old wife that you found someone new. She's upset since you're choosing someone alive over her and your kids. You return to your body and your new wife dies. Now when you die who's your wife? And why would it be logical to just assume that both of your wives and kids have brand new bodies in the Astral plane? It's just illogical to believe that once someone dies they are somewhere else. If a corporation goes out of business does that corporation live on in the astral plane?
