hi everyone,

I am new to this website I have been looking at a lot of the posts and I am so pleased to have found it as I think it will help me a lot in my spiritual development and understanding of such maters.

sorry to sound so confused but I am still very much learning . . . . . any comments much appreciated

Tessa

Hello Tessa,

Welcome to a new reality. Many concepts will be reviewed and tested, for the inner harmony with your inner self, before any semblance of comprehension takes hold. If you as yet, have not read Our Ultimate Reality, get it . Along with that, would suggest the Seth Material by Jane Roberts,  Another would be a very recent book Courageous Souls by Robert Schwartz. Seems at times that the more one reads certain material, the more one realizes how much they may not know about what we are.

Hello Adrian,
You are right, it would be great to visit these temples carved into a rock!
They are nothing as what I have ever seen!

Hello Melody,
Reading of this post, triggered memories of long ago, and certain "feeling tones", not fully understood at that time. While none of those memories would be classified as "World Wonders", they were very much a "wonder " to me at the time. Memories of visiting  what were called haunted houses at the time, old abandoned homes in the backwoods, and small caves in the area. Upon reflection now, it appears that the "feeling tones" at that time were residual energies of former occupants. Wonder what "feeling tones" would be present when actually going through ancient places like the pyramids and temples one reads about!

Hello Awakened soul

For me if there are some words that irritate me in a what I feel a good song, I would simply change some of the words so that it suits my personality.  And you too could go and show love to whom you like by playing with the words.
In life we will always going to modify things to be comfortable with.

Hello Marwa,
Wise decision to change those words that don't resonate harmoniously with you. As long as you are at peace with the changes. Ran into the same situation with some prayers that I was taught, as a youngster. Had stopped using those prayers, as certain phrases were in conflict with my beliefs. Upon introspection of some belief factors, I changed some details of certain prayers. Only a few words of those prayers were changed, but what a difference, when reciting them. At first my inner Babbler was quite aroused, shouting out "you can't do that". Eventually the raucous chatter by my Babbler diminished enough for the altered prayers to become a useable prayer, totally in harmony now with my beliefs.

Hello Talker,

I remember reading somewhere that the best time to harvest herbs is at full moon. Do you know anything about this, since you read a lot about it?

Hi Melody
Ah yes, you had to inquire about about one of my conundrum questions. (LOL) Where does fiction end and fact commence on many issues one encounters! While I give credence to lunar based influences based on certain experiences, to obtain precise information on plant life cycles, would have to be from impeccable sources or personal experience. On the farm my 2nd dad would show me when crops were ready for harvest. Don't recall any other factors being involved. Now, if I were to be harvesting herbs on an herb plot, you bet I would be gleaning as much information as possible. Now we have a vast array of data to sort out on the internet and much easier than through older manuscripts. Though older manuscripts would to me, be invaluable as a source of information. Having said that, I simply make what I need and let it "cook" as I call it, and according to the ingredients, this could be a few days up to a new moon / full moon cycle time equivalent, especially for cut root type herbs. American Indian lore regards plant spirits etc, is much alive within me. Following moon cycles for herb "cooking" , would be highly impractical for me. When I need a formula, in most cases, I needed it, yesterday as the saying goes. Also the way I make my formulations, following the lunar cycles (desired) would intensify the strength beyond  what I normally obtain.I also do not get hung up on strict protocols. When I need some specific, I make it and will immediately start using it, even though no "cooking" process was applied. By "cooking" I mean letting the formulation set/steep in the menstruum (vodka, apple cider vinegar) or water until finally used up, no heat is applied. While I use simple terms to describe things here, I do recall having to keep a dictionary along side of my herb books, to comprehend some terms used in the books. So learning how to use and make herb formulas can range from simple to complex. An aside to lunar cycles, is herbs and the bible were what led me to needing information in chemistry and astrology. No whiz at either, but knowledgeable to some degree.
Be Well.

Hello Talker,
How did you learn about the healing power of herbs? From books? Family tradition?
Do you collect and dry your own herbs or do you buy them?

Hello Melody,
Well for starters, it's a long story that goes back to the 1950's. Believe that around that time, I was running into many situations, that were rattling my belief factors in many areas. Doctors, hospitals, clinics, humanity, love, compassion, church, and religion were starting to weigh heavily on my existing beliefs. Believe me when I say, I was the absolute square peg in all areas at that time. Even to the point of "my country, right or wrong" beliefs. How my belief factors have changed would consume many pages in a large book. Will spare you the details though. (LOL)
So now, to your question. Part of your answer is on my most recent post # 31:

http://waysofahealer.blogspot.com/2007/11/31-winters-itch-and-herb-thoughts.html

This post was done when I realized that my earliar post (# 30) left some things unsaid, and open to further questions. So basically, my herb knowledge derives from books, and led to my taking two courses in herbal useage. The books and courses were only door openers to more study, and still continues. I don't pretend nor claim to be, the final authority on herbs usage, but find it humerus, yet serious, when I find REAL doctors in various fields, that have no idea what they are writting about. That is another story that I might some day write a post on.

No family traditions involved here, but a scant bit of herb usage from my mother. Had often thought about picking up a forty acre plot to start a herb farm, but never followed up on it. So with great as possible care I do buy them. At any given time, can have 30 to 50 types of herbs to experiment and formulate from.

While I can at times be quite venturesome, I am very alert to the fact that certain herbs are very potent and are to be used with care and respect. Growing and harvesting herbs is an art, (and another story) demanding skills that come by trial and error. Did in a number of posts, write on how some herbs were used. My blogging efforts are a means of leaving a trail for the family to peruse after I have crossed over. Many herbs make a wonderful tasting tea. While I have had many issues with the bible, mention is made there about herbs. So while herbs can contribute much for pleasure or medicine, many other factors are involved maintaining and correcting health problems.

Properly used herbs can correct, or fill the void left, once a doctor states "we've done all we can, go home and put your house in order".

Hello and Good Health To All,
Had read about what is called "winters Itch", some months back, and followed posted comments with interest, for no reason at all. So when I took a fresh look at "winters Itch" , was surprised to see a huge number of hits on that subject. So my curiosity led me to ask myself "what would I actually do if I were a victim of winters Itch"!
So while one endeavors to master, mind healing, often it becomes necessary to utilize the tools at hand. Yes, ones mind is also at hand, with those subtle, yet un-mastered areas, that still require more training, so on with the practice sessions.

My thoughts are posted on my blog. It's a bit lengthy so wont post the full write here.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
to me, only a thorough whole body system seems to be possible solution, and I would use an herbal method. This thought is based on all the failed or partial relief received, comments that I read about online. All the herbs listed here, I've used many in one way or another or still use for those occasions I want or need to use for a purpose. If anyone else were crazy enough or desperate enough to even think of doing the same as I would, don't. I'm some what experienced with using herbs for my needs. I'm not allergic to any of them, some are very potent, and need to be researched by users to become aware of the possible down side, in their use.

232  Religions and Traditions / Religions and Traditions / Heaven is Good, and Hell is Bad or Is It! on: November 25, 2007, 21:49:10
Have read and heard many concepts about what is called Heaven, and the other that is referred to as Hell. Based on what I've read about both of these places, Heaven would be ones choice to be in, as opposed to Hell. But is Hell necessarily an evil or bad place in that sense of the word!  questions that arise are along the lines of, where are these places if they exist. If they exist, can one progress or evolve to a better or higher status! Can one, for what ever reason they are in Hell, eventually get to leave Hell by some type of action! At what point is one permanently locked into them, with no more reincarnational situations! The bible does have words on both places, and while I now value the bible, I no longer consider the bible as the final word on the subject. While I have thoughts as regards these two places, those thoughts are far removed from religious teachings. Would really like to hear what others think about this subject matter, based on their beliefs, other then on accepted dogma.

234  The Inner Realities / The Inner Realities / Re: Question for Adrian on thought creation and death on: November 25, 2007, 12:53:42
Adrian,

I read in your recent newsletter (and elsewhere) about how our present reality is created by our past thoughts.  I have tended to believe this for a long time, but about three months ago my wife of 25 years died in a car crash.  This of course was a horrible shock and I still haven't gotten beyond the denial part of grief yet.  My question is, how does her death intersect with what I may have created by thought in the past?  I'm just trying to make sense of all of this.  Any thoughts would be welcome.

Thanks, DH

Hello DH,
My belated condolences on the recent loss of your wife. I also, have recently experienced the loss of a loved one. One can read about the feelings of "hurt and the pain" of situations like we have just passed through, but those words take on a new meaning for us. The internal mental conflicts rage around concepts of the death process, spiritual beliefs, and truly tests ones core beliefs. At least this is what I am experiencing. Have found solice in a saying, frequently used, "and this to, shall pass". Yes, have done soul searching for answers
to the why this occurred in our life. It was at this time that I found a book title, that helped in easing the pain felt, not a perfect answer, but an understanding of the "possibilities" involved. Courageous Souls by Robert Schwartz, is the book title. Viewed from the stories written in this book, I could see the possibility of how this event had great love involved for our souls progress. May that you also reach a peaceful resolve in your moments of grief. In the book, are stories of how a plan of cooperation in this physical world would happen, before they are born into it. How free Will, of each involved in the planning stage, would be tested, and the probable outcomes of each variable action. Any reading of the Seth material by Jane Roberts, helps in understanding the concepts of free will, and probable futures. Adrian's OUR, the bible along with what I've mentioned, helps immensely, in comprehending how our lives are impacted by our thinking processes upon each other.
235  Our Ultimate Reality / Our Ultimate Reality / Re: Healing Energy on: November 24, 2007, 17:47:16
How possible is it to heal physical injuries with energy and mind power? I have a bad knee and shoulder that I am trying to fix. Doctors. are of little use all they can tell me is to stay off it unless it is bad enough for surgery. I have heard of something called the "Quantum Touch" where healers of such arts can reset bone conditions or mend broken ones. I also read of one curing a man with a crooked spine; scoliosis or something like that. Can we do this to ourselves? Or are we limited to just healing on a metaphysical level? Exactly how much power does the mind have over the body?
Hi Baki,
There are many variables in your question regards healing. Much as I dislike using the orthodox medical profession, there is a place for them. So, that said, mind power would
be your next step, if surgery is not required for your injuries.
Have used energy healing methods on many occasions, with various degrees of success. Have listed a YouTube video showing one such process,
and a post in this forum has a link to it.
Regardless of what the process of energy healing is called, the how and what of it all,
boils down to visualization, emotional intensity, and belief factors. So it takes practice
and actually doing the healing methods to, in most instances, build up ones confidence level in energy healing. You will find numerous posts on this forum and some on my blogs along those lines. Quantum Touch healing methods are very effective, even if self-applied. Without spelling out which system is used, here is a run down of one basic method I've used, with various degrees of success. Will say though this process is not based on just any one system, but many.

1-  Get relaxed with an Alpha based method.
2 - Ask your God, to guide you
3 - Briefly see the problem ( mentally) you want to correct.
4 - With great detail, make necessary corrections to the problem or injury.
5 - This can involve (mentally) moving bones, sewing together, gluing, welding etc.
6 - Hold that corrected, perfect (mental) picture/ scene in mind.
7 - Believe this has happened.
8 - Thank your God for the perfect healing.

Over simplified description, but it works. One does need to pay attention to any
"feeling tones" while doing the process. Make any mental adjustments that seem
appropriate to this healing while doing it. Depending on ones mental agility, this
can be a few minutes in length or up to 30/ 60 minutes, or you feel the healing session
is done. As to whether this healing is immediate and perfect or delayed and requires
more attention, give thanks to your God.
Healing of ones body, if not contrary to the souls plan, has or is taking place on
a daily basis.Seems that in the bible, Mark 8: 22-25, there was a bit of a healing
problem involved.
There can be unlimited variations of what is listed here, so go with the
flow of thoughts. Numerous were the times, my "feeling tones" guided me,
as opposed to what I thought was required. How much power the mind has
over the body is still a learning curve for me, but will only say," awesome control".
With some modification, I use this process for "hands on healing or remote healing".

Had posted these words on my blog:
Peaceful Warrior -  http://mytimeatbat.blogspot.com/
and realized that the post might be of interest to forum reader here.

God, Man and the Bible Thoughts

Simple words that superficially appear easy to understand. Yet those very words, like God, man and bible can easily reach, what I call tangelfoot conversations. I enjoy God, Man, and bible conversations that are from ones belief factors, from ones own thoughts, as questions, on these subjects. When, as often happens, another person tries to sway my thoughts using only the bible as the final word, is where tangelfoot comes in. Have had my thought chain rattled, long ago, when I first realized, that the bible was not the final answer to all my questions about God and man. So while I do enter into conversations on those subjects, I will not enter into arguments on or over them. Thoughts expressed. some what like on these forums, is appreciated and enlightening.

There are many thought provoking concepts presented in the information presented at these web sites.

Hello Adrian,
Welcome home. I'm sure it helped to just change the pace of activity's, and add to the bonding process with your son. Hope you did take photo's of some activities. Have found that numerous events involving the family while they were very young, are still being talked about. It is with great pleasure, to listen while these very mature souls now, try to outdo each other at family gatherings, on the tricks they played on "dad and mom" in their early days. Photos are brought at many "get togethers", and stories repeated about the events shown in the pictures. Am sure that one day your son will be doing the wonderful story telling, and you enjoying the knowing, that those times, were indeed, great times.

Hi to All and Good Health,
Did a post on my blog about a health book I found very unusual and quite interesting.
For those interested, My full post can be found here:
http://waysofahealer.blogspot.com/2007/11/28-commonsense-and-health-resurrection.html

,,,,,,,,,,,, the partial post ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Well readers, I found another jewel. It was in the form of a book called “Resurrection” by Sam Biser. For the record now, have purchased many titles and videos during the past two decades from Sam’s company. All were interesting and valuable to me. So I ordered Resurrection. When it arrived, I sat down and browsed through the book. First impression was, Sam you blew it. On closer examination and reading, here came my “Aha”. Unusual material, but still not what I had expected. So now came the critical page by page reading. What a surprise was in store for me. Found one sentence alone worth the full price of the book, the rest of the material was an added bonus.
I contacted Sam, with a special request.
Do the same offer for my readers.

Here is Sam’s reply:
Talker was impressed enough with my new course, Resurrection, for souls in broken bodies, to take advantage of a special offer. He knows my material, (and we go back a few decades), he felt that his readers would appreciate the same value offering. So for a time limited basis, here is what I Sam Biser, will do for him. to make the same special offer, for his readers, until December 15, 2007. My Resurrection Course sells for $35, but if anyone orders ( http://secure.sambiser.com/store )
and emails us at the same time at customers@sambiser.com and says Talker sent them, we'll drop the price to $28 before their card is ever charged.
Basically, the Course creates a tremendous amount of force and new life in bodies that have used supplements for years, with only limited results.
239  Introductions and Chat / Introductions and Chat / Re: My beautiful son passed away suddenly last week - Looking for solace & answers! on: November 16, 2007, 12:17:51
Hi,
I live in country Vic Australia.

Ive been browsing the net for solace & answers regarding the sudden death of my beautiful son Garth at just 18 years of age in a car accident on 17/06/07.
I would like to find out more about what is happening with him and to know that he is ok.
Im still in a bit of shock & I miss him alot.
I suppose Im seeking comfort & advice in this difficult time for me and my family.

My belated condolences, on the loss of your son. My son passed earliar in the same month. All the plans and thoughts shared, now are interrupted, and only the memory of them remain with us. Did find a new book, just published, as if it were meant to offer us solice in our recent loss. Helpful, from the, maybe perspective, of why and how this loss might have been part of my son's souls agenda, difficult as that is to understand. Not that it eased all the pain and tears involved, but a new look at how it might ease our pain, and to reach some understanding it all. The book is:
"Courageous Souls" by Robert Schwartz.
There are still times of deep grief, anger, and blame, but these emotions are now quickly replaced with the forgiveness, acceptance and peace, of a new understanding. That you, also find acceptance and peace, is my desire for you.
Unusual, but not strange, while in a moment of deep grief, I heard my son say "dad, I'm OK", at which point, the tears flowed, as they are now, and I could only say "thank you son".
My love and peace be with you.
