Hello Awakened soul

Yes it was very personal, it seems you didnt like it and I respect that.
You know before posting it I thought some might not like it because of something like " O muslims send salutations upon Muhammed ".
But then I thought no, or at least I expected that you might like the idea of different people speaking different languages, perhaps not all muslims are united singing for God. You have the right of not liking it since it seems islamic, but at least see the positive side of it. For me if there are some words that irritate me in a what I feel a good song, I would simply change some of the words so that it suits my personality. Here I would rather go and say " O Lord send salutations upon all souls or upon me or human kind". Or I could go and say send salutations upon Jesus. That was expected from the singer since he is muslim and he might liked to show his love to his Prophet. And you too could go and show love to whom you like by playing with the words.
In life we will always going to modify things to be comfortable with.

Hello Melody

What was yesterday a fact is a fallacy today. It was a fact that carrots are good for the eyesight, and there were evidences for that. However recently it is discovered that carrot does not improve the eyesight. So what about the evidences and experiments that supported this fact. Could it be that they saw the issue from one angle, and not its whole picture?

Both the Holy Bible and the Holy Qur’an are from God. But the problem is in the human beings. The Bible has been interpreted by humans and The Qur’an is not valued by people.

That verse (not really a poem) from the Qur’an clearly means that the knowledge and wisdom of God never ends.
I know it is difficult to understand what does the verses of the Bible exactly mean; since it isn't one Bible we are talking about. And what is written in one Bible is denied by the other Bible.
And in the case of the Quran, some will see its image in black and white, others will see its image in a colored form, and some will just see nothing. It's all depending upon the person and his heart.

"These types of amorphous teachings are really great tools for bending people's thinking towards the teachers’ interpretation of God and spirituality."

And why is that, can't these intelligent human beings (with great minds) use their minds just for a little to see whether these teachings are right or wrong. And why we are then granted the gift of the mind if we are going to blame others for our bended way of thinking.

Hello Melody

I think Evil is the result of the absence of Good. For ex: coldness is the result of the absence of heat, like blindness is the result of the absence of eye sight. Both of coldness and blindness are conditions that occur as a result of the absence of the normal conditions. And Evil is not something that is created as well as blindness.
I ask you Melody is a God whom evil is part of him deserve to be loved, and why He would continuously advise us not to be evil, when at the same time evil is part of Him? Do you think smokers would listen to the advice of the dangers of smoking from someone who himself smokes?
And at last I want to say:Is our knowledge about God is completely sufficient to the extent that we are sure of what we claim about God. Everyday we discover more about our selves. Till today 80% of the universe is still ambiguous to scientists, we don’t even know exactly what electricity is, so how come we arrived to conclusions about The Creator, when we are still ignorant about the majority of His creation.
“If only the trees on earth were pens
and the [inky] sea were later on
replenished with seven other seas,
God's words would never be exhausted;
God is Powerful, Wise! “  (Qur’an 31:27)

Peace be upon all souls,

For spiritual reasons and as a method for discipline the soul different religions encouraged their followers to fast at certain times. Whether you follow a specific creed or not, perhaps you might tried to fast as it is the food of the soul and its ideal remedy.
Here is a link for just a few of the mysteries of fasting. It would be more beneficial to share with others how your religion viewed fasting, and your own experience and spiritual growth through fasting.

Hello Everyone,

Probably most of us like to live in a clean area. We tend to clean our rooms, decorate them, some like to hang pictures; others put flowers or plants, anything that brings a sense of relaxation and relief to us.

The house of your soul is your physical body that it lives in. Our souls also like to live in clean homes. It does not like to be annoyed by junk food, fizzy drinks. And even if it is healthy food, too much of it, wont leave enough room for the soul to rest in.

Through out human history, fasting was and remains one of the best ways to purify the body from toxic materials and returns the body's organs to their healthy conditions.

What you said Melody is very true

"We mistakenly think that the only way to achieve anything is to become more intelligent, knowledgeable and gain material abundance through our mental efforts. But this does not generally lead to acquiring the vibrations of Love, does not lead to spiritual progress."

But the good thing that we now humans, after experience, are deeply convinced that knowledge is not only acquired through the five senses, and that as Einstein said "Imagination is more important than knowledge."
I am now studying Pharmacy, and deep in me there is a whisper saying it would have been better if I have chosen Psychology. We tend to care too much about the physical body during illness, and at many times the source of illness is our real image "the soul". For me I lack lots of spirituality, and I believe it will be better to cure my soul  first before looking to help patients.

For me I learn how to love from children, angels of God on earth, they store in them lots of positive energy, very pure creatures, they don't have in their mind dictionaries the concept of "Hatred", but unfortunately they acquire it as they grow.

Sometimes I feel it was better if we live as our ancestors used to. Its true they didn't have all this technology we now have, but they were more spiritual, they didn't need anybody to teach them how to be spiritual, but we now misused technology at many times through history, and moreover, lost lot from our spirituality.

Dear Oneness,

I quoted some of your thoughts and wrote my thoughts in respond to them.

But trying to realize everything with only the help of QURAN..

(Marwa) not actually, but I try to realize how the Quran and the sciences of the religion contributed in the spiritual development of the human. There are many scientific discoveries that the Quran pointed to 1400 years ahead, and I do not doubt that it also implied something about the inner realities and spiritual growth.

A mother once wanted to convey an important lesson of life to her son. She took a jar and filled it with rocks. She asked her son if the jar was filled. He said no. She then took pebbles and put it in the jar. The pebbles found their place in the spaces between the stones. She again asked her son if the jar was filled. He said no. She then took sand and shook the jar. The sand filled all the empty spaces in the jar.
For me the rocks resemble the most important things in my life – my religious values and beliefs. The pebbles and the sand resemble my experience in life and what I learn from people.

..but I'm thinking the religions are old energies..They had no mission at all.

(Marwa) Albert Einstein said “Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind."   And what religious beliefs you follow is completely your choice.

..because they served to separete people ..not connect ...But we have to realize ,we are ONE ..now on..So I don't want, to be in any of religion arguments.
(Marwa) I believe people create life barriers that separate them from other people of different religions. There are some families whom the parents might be Christian and the children are of another religion, and they still live with each other peacefully. You can not force others to accept what you believe in. We all disagree with our friends about trivial issues and this does not mean that we separate.
“There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path.” Quran (2:256)

I have some comments about the Kryon, but I am afraid I donot have time to write them these days. Thank you Oneness for your thoughts, its my pleasure to speak to you. If there is something you would like to discuss about any of the topics I wrote, I would welcome that.

Hello Mr.Talker

Seems an important book to me. If it happens that I planned my life challenges before, then this might mean that I have already chosen my destiny too, and I am here(in this life) to play the scenario I wrote for my life. I hope I could change things in that scenario that could be harmful to my life.

Thank You for your information about the book.

Dear Melody,

It would be really my pleasure if you can teach something valuable through this forum.
I really do not mean to make myself as a teacher in this forum. I am just saying what I feel is right and it can be wrong. And if you tell my negative points, I would be very thankful to you.
You mentioned we are all one, so I believe I should learn from you, and if you see that there is something useful in what I say,you can take it. You have the freedom.
Kabeel (son of Prophet Adam PBUH) learnt who to make a grave from a bird. For me I do not resist to take the truth from any person, or nature.

I hope you understand me
13  Religions and Traditions / Religions and Traditions / Re: The God I know on: August 18, 2007, 15:09:05

Hi Melody,

First I am not here to say I have more knowledge than anyone else in this website. God knows how insignificant knowledge do I have.

Yes, a person should help others to raise their level of consciousness, if it happens that he knows more than them.

But this person should first discover how much those people know about the subject he is talking about. Sometimes the souls are not prepared to understand what you say, and you might confuse them more than benefit them. A person should know at what level of knowledge his readers or audience are, come down to their level, and step by step he tries gradually to raise their level of consciousness to his level.

There were times when my teacher used to talk to me about things that were way ahead than what I can understand at that age, and when he realized that, he told me there will be a time when you will understand what I mean. And at some occasions he used to stop talking if he realizes that it confused the students. And step-by-step I come to understand, if not all what he said, but at least something. For everything there is a time.

What I wanted to emphasis from the topic “The God I know” is THE MERCY of GOD, beyond what we can imagine, I wanted to focus people to that reality, and expressing what I believe about “Hell” at that topic and at that time would be totally inappropriate and would not be more important.

And whether “Hell” exists or not as a place, or whether we will go into another realm at the end or not (where every one will be able to live there according to the purity of his soul) was not the message I wanted to send to the readers’ minds at that time. The issue of “Hell” could be discussed at a different topic in another time, and a person cannot discuss two subjects at the same time, unless if he writes for the sake of just writing.

I think this way of providing knowledge to students at schools is also used. A good teacher would make to his students a small test at the beginning of the year, to know what are their weak points and strong ones. And if it comes that there are students who understand and able to tackle difficult questions faster than others then he will deal with each group according to their level of understanding.

But if he directly explains the material from his high level of understanding, which is very high for both the groups, then the students will not gain anything but more confusion, although the teacher is saying the truth. But he says the truth from his level of understanding and not theirs.

And because you mentioned the issue about “Hell”, I then expressed my beliefs towards this “Hell”(which can be wrong). And in my opinion whether “Hell” was a place or not is not that important, the more important is what we all know that some will feel pain while others will not, whether that will be in another world or not. That’s why I expressed “Hell” as a place in the topic, which is familiar to all people.I believe that it is more more valuable to people to know first their God, and then discuss about this "Hell". Since they wont fear Him(the Almighty) but they will love Him, and  after that the issue of that "Hell" will not be that important for them.

“Be true to yourself” Thanks you for this advice; it’s a good one.
I will be always happy to hear from you your thoughts.

14  Religions and Traditions / Religions and Traditions / Re: The God I know on: August 17, 2007, 13:05:32
Hi melody,

Thank you for your reply.

What you mentioned about "Hell" seems close to what I believe in. Actually I believe that our planet will be absorbed by one of the black holes, and after that we will be in a completely different world. And those who purified their souls will be very comfortable there, and those who didnot purify their souls will feel so much pain, since that world is not adequate for them. I do not really know whether it is right or not.

I like to talk to people according to their level of knowledge, and understanding. Thats why I mentioned "Hell" as a place, although I have a different opinion on it, but the notion that the hell is a place is understood by all, from different religions.

May also God lighten for you the right path.
15  Religions and Traditions / Religions and Traditions / The God I know on: August 16, 2007, 18:11:40
Peace be upon all who seek the Truth,

Actually this should have been posted as a reply for Heather’s topic “So what is it?”
I saw it would be more useful if it is posted as a separate topic.

Like many people, I also fear the Day of Judgment, but to be honest my deep love to God invaded by subconscious mind. For me, I do not worship God because of fearing Him, nor do I worship him because I am looking for “The Paradise” at the end.

Tell me, I want to know, what else a person might ask from God, if God has granted him with love. Personally, I can not see anything that would make me more comfortable than that sense of love that I feel towards God.  What a gift!!!
I am writing these words, so that they remain as a testimony and confirmation of my love to God. Also, all readers will be witnesses of my love to God so that if it happens that I might go to hell, at that moment I will tell my Lord that I written one day some words showing love to You, and I have witnesses too, So are you going to send me to hell, although I love You?

I am a muslim for those who don’t know, and may be the only muslim amongst all members. And I do not blame you if you got loads of bad thoughts in your minds about Islam, muslims and………..etc.  Because if I was in your position, I would definitely think as you people think and might ask “What kind of savages these so called muslims are? Do not they have any sense of humanity? I doubt whether they are humans or even animals, how come they kill each other and others in these terrible ways? What kind of religion they follow and what kind of God they worship?

Anyway, I think I made you lost with what I wrote.

Here are some verses from the Holy Quran and some sacred hadiths and sayings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) of the mercy of God of whom I worship

1) Some of Prophet Muhammad’s sayings on the mercy of God

“God has one hundred parts of mercy, of which He sent down one between the jinn, mankind, the animals and the insects, by means of which they are compassionate and merciful to one another, and by means of which wild animals are kind to their offspring. And God has kept back ninety-nine parts of mercy with which to be merciful to His slaves of the Day of Resurrection.”
Verily, Satan has said, ‘By Your Honor and Grandeur, O Allah, my temptations will not depart from your servants as long as their souls are in their bodies.’  And the Lord said, ‘By My Honor and My Grandeur, never will I cease forgiving those who ask My forgiveness.’
Some prisoners were brought to Prophet Mohammed, and there was a woman among the prisoners who was searching (for her child). When she found her child she embraced him and put him to her breast. Then The Prophet said to his companions, do you think that this woman would throw her child in the fire? They said, No, by Allah (God), not if she is able not to. Then The Prophet said, Allah (God) is more merciful to His slaves than this woman is to her child.

“Among those who came before you was a man who killed 99 people. He then asked to be guided to the most prolific worshipper from the inhabitants of the earth, and he was directed to a monk. He went to him and told him that he had killed 99 people, and he asked whether it was possible for him to repent. The monk said, ‘No.’ The man killed him, thus making him the 100th victim. He then asked to be directed to the most knowledgeable of the Earth’s inhabitants, and he was guided to a scholar. He went to him and told him that he had killed 100 people, and he asked whether it was possible for him to repent. The scholar said, ‘Yes, and who will stand between you and repentance. Go to such and such land, for in it dwell a people who worship Allah(God), so go and worship Allah(God) with them. And do not return to your land, for it is indeed a land of evil.’ He left, and when he reached the halfway point of his journey, he died. The angels of Mercy and the angels of Punishment disputed with one another [in regard to his case]. The angels of Mercy said, ‘He came to us repentant, advancing with his heart towards Allah(God).’ The angels of Punishment said, ‘Indeed, he never performed any good deeds.’ Then an angel came in the form of a human being, and both groups of angels asked him to be the judge between them. He said, ‘Measure the distance between the two lands. Whichever land he is closer to is the land that he is closer to [in terms of being of its people]. They then measured the distance and found that he was closer to the land that he was heading towards, and so it was the angels of Mercy who then took his soul.”

'When Allah (God) completed the creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him on His Throne, 'My Mercy overpowers My Anger.'

2) Sacred Hadiths (Sayings) which were inspired by God to the Prophet:

“I am as My servant thinks I am.  I am with him when he makes mention of Me.  If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assemble better than it.  And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length.  And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.”

“The Great and the Glorious Lord said (to angels): Whenever My bondsman intends to commit an evil, do not record it against him, but if he actually commits it, write it as one evil, and when he intends to do good but does not do it, take it down as one act of goodness, but if he does it, write down ten good deeds (in his record).”

“O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind.  O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you.  O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great at it.”

“O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another.”

"A servant [of Allah's] committed a sin and said: O Allah (God), forgive me my sin.  And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them.  Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin.  And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them.  Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin.  And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for sins.  Do what you wish, for I have forgiven you."

“A man said: By Allah (God), Allah (God) will not forgive So-and-so. At this Allah (God) the Almighty said: Who is he who swears by Me that I will not forgive So-and-so? Verily I have forgiven So-and-so and have nullified your [own good] deeds.(1) (or as he said [it])’.

‘Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him’.

3) Some verses showing God’s Mercy:

SAY: "My servants who have acted extravagantly against themselves still do not despair of God's mercy. God forgives all offences; He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. (39:53) Quran"
"If any one does evil or wrongs his own soul but afterwards seeks God's forgiveness, he will find God Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.  (4:110)
"If any does good, the reward to him is better than his deed; but if any does evil, the doers of evil are only punished (to the extent) of their deeds.   (The Noble Quran, 28:84)"
"The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again.   (The Noble Quran, 38:66)"

At last I say that the Lord of the worlds is very merciful, and he wants all to go to Paradise. But we have also to put some effort and purify our souls and ask for his guidance.

Ja'far Sadiq(one of the grand children of the prophet) has said: "There are three categories of the worshippers: 'Those who worship Allah out of fear; their worship is that of the slaves. Those who worship Allah for the sake of a reward; their worship is that of the wage-earners. Those who worship Allah out of love and earnestness; their worship is that of the freeman. This last is the best form of worship." (Biharul Anwar, vol. V, p. 208).
