 :-)Thank you so much for your response Adrian, I do use "for the highest good of all" when I state affirmations.  The book clarifies a lot of things that I learned before, but a lot of new information is brought forth.  It is very interesting to read.  I'm glad I found the site, downloaded the book and can read the forums.

I am new here and am reading the Ultimate Reality.  I am 74 yrs. old and still have desires!  I desire to travel, have a new car, pay off all debts before I drop my body.  My conflict is that reading the "masters" they keep saying we need to get rid of our desires.  We shouldn't have any if we care to progress to enlightenment.  I have been studying since I was in my 20's so have an understanding of the eastern wisdom that is also mentioned in the Ultimate Reality.  So even though I still desire "things" in my life, I feel like it is wrong.  What should I do about it.  I have manifested some desires--went to Paris last year and visited my birthplace in Southern France.  I desire to keep working on manifestating but is that pushing me away from enlightenment?  Thanks in advance for any help!

I just joined this forum and downloaded the book.  My son (48) had emotional problems and shot himself in June 2002.  I had a dream that he was in his yellow corvette, later sat at a table with me and pushed over some empty checkbooks.  We always believed in an afterlife and I wondered if he would contact me.  The dream happened about 2003.  He didn't look happy in the dream.  In his life here he was always trying to "get rich."  Buy corvettes, etc.  I just wondered if anyone has any thoughts about this.  He had tried suicide before but never completed it.  I always told him not to do it but he was very depressed.  I think he may have been bi-polar, he was on prozac.
