Hello,

What I miss in this topic is why certain people have certain, very obvious, talents. Wouldn't it seem logical that they are supposed to do something with that? Wouldn't it be a waste not to? Isn't it better to follow your passion then to just be stuck in a job that doesn't have anything to do with that passion?

What is preventing the passion from manifesting in another job, as opposed to being 'stuck' in an incorrect passionless job!
If the desire and will are present, only ones limiting belief factor is the impediment. 
No shame in tooting ones horn and going for the gold.
Easily said of course, and  may require serious effort, yet if the passion is strong enough, it can be done. There is nothing in being highly spiritual that requires poverty, or lack of anything. It is ones own lock that is to be unlocked, and the key or combination is within the individual.

Good Morning Everyone,

This is an excellent topic. We all have asked this question sometimes more than once.

A.S., I too asked this question when I was 'stuck' in a job that honestly, I cried going to and coming from everyday for a year and a half. The grief wasn't worth the pittance I was making and I was surrounded by such prejudiced people, they hated everyone.

So I 'prayed' like there was no tomorrow and took it upon myself to do what anyone would do, I tried to get another 'job' and get my miserable self out of there. No doors were opening and I really had to face my growing fears within that I would never be able to get out of this job. I did understand that a Higher Power was at work behind the scenes because no doors were opening for me while they were opening for others.

I finally came to a place of surrender. I remember saying, "I hate this job and I really do not like being around such hate filled negative people, show me what my lesson is here I am learning, grow my trust and give me peace." That's when the door opened and took me onto other places, each one a stepping stone which led to another and so on. What changed was my attitude and being appreciative of where I was at the moment and that is what allowed me to sense that something was coming my way. I did not know what that was, how it was going to show up but I knew it was on its way. This has happened to me over and over again. I learned alot from working in that place, I just couldn't see it while I was in it. The peace came first and then as 'time' went on I saw the benefits.

In the 'Science of Getting Rich', Wallace Wattles states that it is being (feeling like you are already have it, are IT) where you want to be in the Now moment that opens you more and more to obtaining your desires. Practicing and disciplining myself where I am in this moment is a step by step process. You do progress faster when you let go and allow your Higher Self to lead the way. No such thing as boring or 'normal' I assure you!!

So now, I Ask, 'Where can I serve today, Who 'needs' my help? Send me." Life is an adventure this way.

Dear One and All,

I too have had jobs that I despised even getting up to go to. Being surrounded by those that took great pleasure in finding a victim daily to berate with gossip and elitist attitudes towards. The usual ' office politics ' as we call it.
Yet I was hit with an awakening that was a tsunami to my mind - the hatred and anger I felt was not originating from them but within myself. My outrage at their judgmental words was being overpowered by my judgments upon them. The only difference was they spoke their judgments and I did not.
Spiritual understanding comes with that mirror we see ourselves in while within these circumstances. It offers us the opportunity to see ourselves clearly weather we like what we see or not.
Once this was realized, I ceased my inner dialogue of their behaviors and things became easier,less stressful and my eyes began to see the source of their judgments, which was the pain they were feeling in their minds that caused them to lash out at others, as I once lived also.
Now I work for myself, and attract clients to me that are more like minded. Yet we as spiritual people, to be of service sometimes find ourselves surrounded by those seem the antithesis of us, because it is where we are needed the most.
Yet we no longer judge them for their behavior, we just listen until we see that gleam in their eyes we recognize from it in our own eyes.

Talk of life purpose usually confine themselves to our jobs, as the Secret became almost entirely focused on monetary wealth. Yet jobs are just a way of taking us to those that we need to know and that need to know us. A lot of people define who they are by what they do for a living. A subtle thing with a very profound and dehumanizing effect on the person. If I find myself becoming agitated by the behavior around me, I realize I have forgotten I am.

Dear all,

I have just returned from a welcome few days away and just getting back up to speed with the usual backlog and with these forums.

What a wonderful topic this and what wonderful and wise replies.

We are all here for a purpose, and when we know that purpose is life will always be perfect.

Alas most people never discover their purpose in life because they quickly become subsumed in the dramas of the material world and the perceived need to conform to the expectations of others - family, friends, society etc, a drama which they play out, often in misery for the rest of their days on Earth.

If people would only focus within, their life's purpose would become apparent as it was with me many years ago. Anyone following their life's purpose will always be happy, fulfiled and blessed in whichever ways are appropriate to this incarnation.

When people ask me, as they do, including my children, what they should do I have one simple answer: Follow your passions

It does not matter what you are passionate about, they fact that you are passionate means that passion is being driven from within. Everyone following that passion will live a glorious life and fulfil their purpose for being here.

Many make the mistake of thinking too much and doubting, but the fact is, in a temporal human existence bound by space-time, it is only possible to catch a glimpse of the bigger picture. It is therefore crucial to trust intuition without question.

Many also make the mistake of confusing money with happiness and/or money with abundance.

I can tell everyone one fact beyond any doubt.  If we are fully connected with our life's purpose and within, we will never want for anything - Divine Providence knows our every need and will always provide for our every need.

The worst thing anyone can do is become trapped in the "human system". I have a whole chapter in my book entitled "The Human Paradox" which discusses these truths in detail.

Dear Darrell and All,

Very wonderful thoughts shared here Darrell and yes, it is when I realize. I AM (seeing my reflection in the mirror) ... mirroring (reflecting)  my Inner thoughts are creating the outer picture. These were and continue to be my life lessons as well. It 'led me, Intuitively to Ask... ~ ... and IT IS (we are spirit) Being. 

Yea ~ And So IT IS 



It seems 'too easy' (My definition of 'too/two to 'Tango'    easy is = too simple (easy) opposite = 'work' for IT". Hmm...aka try.  Why not, 'Let's dance... 'Oh Yeah!' 


I like simple.) but the profound meanings are contained within these everyday moments if we are willing to step into the Inner Chambers and allow the alchemical process to procede to our Highest fulfillment. Our GodSelf walking this world.

With this said, I'm off to wander and leave you all with this thought:
