I am not religious as some may believe. Religious as in saying you must believe like I do or else. That there is only one way, yes for each younique one. It all leads to the same Source. So that said...
Spectre, I appreciate your response. Thank you.
Let me give you some more background here. My mother was from Japan and Buddhism was the 'faith' practiced in her home by her mother who was the first one to mention Jesus to her as a girl. I was surprised to hear this. Now, fast forward to her marrying my dad who came from a Right wing Southern Baptist upbringing from his mother. My dad's dad was a Mason. Quite a blend I assure you!
My mother's side of the family was prone to 'paranormal' experiences. And Buddhists Priests did exorcisms and 'seances', which many know and many are not aware of. My grandmother went to them in difficult times to speak with her first husband on the otherside.
That said, my mother was very afraid of paranormal occurances because her cousin had two episodes where she almost died from dark energies attaching to her, she lay comatose for months in both circumstances. It took Buddhist Priests doing ceremonies to release her from these attachments. She did not approve of my experiences at all and sought to drive them from me. I hid my experiences from her and others for years.
I found myself unwillingly at a place to return to the Christian church in my early twenties and now in hindsight I am thankful I went through it, and do see it making more sense.
There are things in all faiths that reveal what we can do to assist ourself and others if we can rid ourself of religious dogma. And it is also about meeting ones at the door or level of being able to receive the transmission.
While in the church years, I found myself experiencing more of these visits which honed my discipline and skills and yet, I have not trained with a Priest to date.
When I was 11, I was with a group of girls going to see the bubble gum group called the Osmonds, we were guests by this girl's father who worked for NBC. On the way out the door, she turned to me specifically and asked me, which Osmond do you like best? No. She asked me if I knew how to protect myself from demons. Yup. Not your everyday conversational question. It shocked me. I stammered a no and that I did not think about such things, which she replied, 'you should' and she then proceeded to speak to me alone while we walked to the car. One of her father's best friends was a Catholic Priest who 'specialized' in exorcisms and it was then that I was given to completely surround myself in the blood of Christ as protection, and that it would only work if I put my whole heart of belief into it.
Funny how life is, I forgot all about this until I had my 'first' confrontation just two years later. By this time we were living in Scotland and the house we were in well, I began to notice things about temperature in rooms and such. And the room that was mine was never warm. No matter how long the heater ran, the room was so cold, you could see your breath just by normal breathing.
and then things began to happen at quite a fast rate. From books rising in midair and turning over and setting themselves down, to dark 'mists' filling a room, to doors not being able to be opened that were easy to open, to being held down while awake trying to sit up, holes appearing in walls and everytime covered over, only to found ripped open just moments later and so on. I felt like I was being watched all the time and I reached a point where I got very angry and it began to affect my demeanor when one day, I saw myself in the mirror and it startled me, because my face had a hard look to it and I did not recognize myself! And this is when I went on my rant and I called these ones to make themselves known. Thank goodness for guides!
I found about them when I was in my 30's. A man I did not know told me he could see my guides and when he described them, two I recognized as having seen them when I was a young girl, the other five I haven't 'seen' yet. This man asked me if I were into alchemy as I had an alchemist with me as a guide.
It was while in the midst of these events that what this girl said to me two years prior came to mind and once I applied this, I was able to hear the voice that is very very quiet saying, focus on the Light within, place your power here. And the peaceful energy would begin to warmly radiate all through me and around me and this is when the events would cease immediately.
It's a discipline I assure you because I have had more intense experiences since then and that is what I applied and it does indeed work. I am not joking about the songs either. even if it is a simple rendition of alleuia with focus on the Source of Light as being all around you. As long as you feel it from your heart, you will be amazed at how your mind goes completely silent and the fear goes.
I had one experience in particular that was very disturbing and once I was through with it, I collasped and drifted off until I was awoken by sounds of Joy and singing, and I opened my eyes and saw beautiful Light coming from my front room and entering into my room, there were ones of mixed races and gender and they were rejoicing in what I had just come through. The Energy of this experience sealed more power in me and has taken me a long way even when coming face to face yet again with one whom would be described as being demon possessed in my very midst.
From the place of being visited by these Beings, I began a diligent effort to maintain my connection with Source and it has been a step by step process.
So, you asked me how you could assist ones. First, they have to be willing. If not, it will not work. Truth. We cannot go against another's will. What we can do is invite the Source of Love and Light to send Its energy right into the core of this being, touching it to feel ITs Presence.
Dark energies have alot of pride and refuse to admit where they came from and due to constant re-inforcing of their belief that they are 'equally' powerfully dark in their unbelief, they have become very deluded and yes, they are very powerful according to their belief as we are. I keep saying this folks, we do not realize the power of our beliefs. Our abilities. And what we see going on is evidence of the power of belief whether of darkness or light. My belief may seem pie in the sky to some, yet I will say that it is mainly due to ones who have not experienced it yet.
It does take assistance with those who have been deeply deceived. It takes what some call a miracle. And we can do this with others through 'prayer' together as directed focus of Loves Light being sent into an individual. And when in daily presence with others, inviting this LoveLight energy to touch everyone within ones radius if we are open to receiving and transmitting this energy. Some resist it.
If one speaks to you about these things Spectre, it's a door to speak to them about what they genuinely are. All beings are 'originally' from this Energy of Light, an all encompassing Love that is worlds away from the way IT has been depicted. I've been disciplined to ask Spirit to speak through me to touch the person where it is needed.
In closing, while I was being led through the 'church' years, after having already experienced some of these events, a particular part of the Bible toned deeply in me when I read it. So, I will share with you what was shown to me in the reading and tucking these words in for the Journey.
Ephesians 6:10-18 (New International Version)
The Armor of God
10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
Being that the heavenly realms are within, it says the belt of truth buckled around your waist, a life line. What is Truth? GOD IS (no matter what faith names it), and each one has to come to the place of deciding it is absolutely true or it is absolutely not true. There is no wishy washy about it. How can you be 'protected' by something you doubt? The floor will fall out from under you. And dark energies know this. Righteousness is being right minded about your belief. Decide and this decision will protect your heart or leave it wide open for attack. Faith well, it comes down to who are you going to listen to? This will determine the ground you are standing on, rocky or solid and firm. The helmet of salvation. Salvation has been known to be rescue. Rescued from the lies of the one who seeks to keep the Child of Love isolated in fear from knowing what It is and Who It comes from in one's mind. The Sword of the Spirit is the knife of Intuition or keen InSight to see clearly through the lies. And the word of God is Truth as it says we are children of the Love that Lights this world. Prayer is our asking of Source for assistance, and we must be stilled to hear the response. Be alert, aware of who's who and what is what by maintaining your relationship with Source Energy through daily communion. Inviting Source to be Present in your everyday affairs.
It is a discipline and I will say that while we are yet in this world, it doesn't mean there is an end to it here as in the occurances happening yet, there comes a place where the dark energies will not mess with you because they know you know. There have been ones who had conversations with dark energies who leave them alone otherwise. They make ones who know look like they are defeated, sometimes with physical 'death' so they can continue to mess with ones who are still 'lost' to their truth.
The fear you feel in the midst of these experiences, next time if you have one, may these words come to mind that I have shared to assist you is my prayer to InPower you and InCourage you.
What I have come to understand is behind all these things is jealousy interfering with the 'object' of Love. Truth.
Pardon the long flow, again, these things are now being brought out into the open and I feel this is a part of what I am to share.
