October 14th 2008 and the Arrival of the Federation of Light

Has anyone here heard of Blossom Goodchild?  I've heard of her once or twice before, but I don't know anything about her.  All I know is that she is a channeler for White Cloud.

Apparently she as received a message from The Federation of Light about their visit to Earth on the date of October 14th, 2008.  Here is the message:

TO LEADERS, GOVERNERS, POLITICIANS AND
ALL PEOPLE OF EARTH ….

We wish it to be understood that on the 14th day of your month of October in the year 2008 a craft of great size shall be visible within your skies. It shall be in the south of your hemisphere and it shall scan over many of your states.

We give to you the name of Alabama.

It has been decided that we shall remain within your atmosphere for the minimum of three of your twenty four hour periods.

During this time there will be much commotion upon your earth plane. Your highest authorities will be intruding into ‘our’ atmospherics that surround our ship. This ‘security field’ is necessary for us, as there shall take place a ‘farce’ from those in your world who shall try to deny that we come in LOVE.

KNOW OF THIS

WE COME TO ASSIST YOUR WORLD.

WE DO NOT COME TO TAKE OVER.

WE DO NOT COME TO DESTRUCT.

WE COME TO GIVE YOU HOPE.

We are beings from other planets, who for many eons of your time have been preparing for these days ahead.

We ask each soul that reads of these words to accept in their heart the Truth that lies within. For in that place there is the knowing that this is to take place.

I am aware that Alabama is NOT in the Southern Hemisphere. I queried this to the Federation and was told … ‘In days of old, it used to be’. If anyone can find information on this, I would be most grateful if you could contact me via my website.

It has also been suggested that ‘Alabama’ maybe the name of a craft.

On researching it appears that Alabama has a NASA space centre. .

It required great courage to send this out. I hope this allows you the courage within yourselves to continue on your own personal search for YOUR TRUTH

This message has been and continues to gain tremendous popularity across the Internet.  Some or all of you here might have already heard about it.  Most of the feedback has been positive with only a few critics here and there.  I was wondering what thoughts anyone here might have about this.  What is your feedback about this?  Here are my thoughts:

When I first heard about this I immediately blew it off as just another crackpot rumor along with all the other doomsday predictions, U.F.O visitations, etc., but for some reason this seems to have caught my attention for a time.  I've read through her website and I listened to her radio interview yesterday on BBS Radio.  Other than Kryon I've never really read much from any channelers and have been very cautious about their credibility, but she seems like a genuine person, and this particular message she received from the Federation of Light does sound a little captivating.

If this does actually take place then I have to say I partly agree with the method in which they use to present themselves to the population of the Earth.  For one thing given that most people on this planet have very STRONG beliefs and are so controlled by their ego that just a mere momentary visitation I believe would not be sufficient to alter the perception of most people or increase the changes that are currently taking place at an already geometric rate.  Since this supposed visit is longer than momentary I believe a minimum 3 day visit could be a good idea.  I think the longer they lingered in the sky the more people could contemplate and search within themselves the meaning of what is going on and their purpose for being here.  But that situation is nothing more than an assumption on my part.

I also agree with their decision not to make any contact with anyone while they present themselves.  Given the duelistic separatist nature of a lot of the population on this planet they are most likely not ready for any contact and would most likely misinterpret their intentions.

One statement I have trouble agreeing with in their message is this:

We beseech you to TRUST that we come to bring the downfall of those who have misintentions for the well being of your planet.

If we do not intervene now … as has been planned for eons of your earth time … then we fear it would be too late.

Unless we have given them some permission to come here on a sub-conscious level or otherwise I cannot see how they can intervene in such a manner without violating the Law of Free Will which cannot be done unless again we have given them permission.  If these are indeed inner dimensional beings then I believe there should be no distinction between those who have misintentions and those who have what would be perceived as good intentions - in other words there should be no distinction between what is so-called "good" and "bad".  I believe there could not exist a situation where a race of beings could come in and decide to manipulate a planet in such a way to rid the planet of what they perceive as bad unless we have collectively decided on some level to allow that to happen.  If we as a society decide not to become enlightened and allow the Earth to become corrupted to the extent of involution then that is our choice by our own free will from which we will continue to learn from our decisions and continue to experience whatever situation we have created for ourselves for the benefit of our own progress toward Source.  But then again maybe I'm misreading that statement.  Maybe what they really mean is that their presence could spark an awakening that could eventually lead to the downfall of conspiring organizations to our choosing.  Given that we are all one and there is no separation within and throughout the Universe maybe they're just acting out of Love and kindness in a way that a brother would show love to another brother in need as perceived by him.

So, do I believe the "Federation of Light" will visit on October 14th 2008?  I have no idea.  Do I believe their visit will have any success in their intentions.  If this situation were to occur there is no way I or anyone else can say whether or not their visit would have any perceived success or not, and because of free will it is also impossible for these beings to know whether or not their visit would have any success as our future is ultimately determined by the collective consciousness as has been said here in these forums many times.

I personally wouldn't mind a visit from beings of another world.  For myself it would be entertaining and a bit exciting - most likely to satisfy a part of my ego I'm sure, especially since I've been somewhat fascinated by being visited by beings from other planets or realms, but other than that I'm not really concerned about whether they visit or not for my own benefit, especially where my own spiritual development is concerned.  Whether they come or not makes no difference to me personally, bu I do think it would be nice if their visit did benefit the global society in a positive way to the extent of preparing the majority of the planet for the transition into the new age.

Those are the only comments I can think of at the moment.  So, what do you guys think?  How do you feel about all this?  The reason I ask is because I love coming to this forum and the one I come to the most, so I value the opinions here.

How valid and credible do you think this message is?
What is the likelihood this could actually happen?
Does anyone know anything about this Blossom Goodchild and do you know how credible she is?

Thank you very much for sharing this with us.

As I have said before - I never place any emphasis on "channeled" information, regardless of who the entity claims to be or where they claim to be from.

I like this one however in as much that they do at least provide a precise date which I have noted. If this event takes place it will certainly be significant.

If it does not then it becomes just one of countless other channelings to not be realised in reality.

If it does take place you can imagine the US government, driven by their controllers, to immediately see this as a threat - not to humanity but to their own objectives - and will almost certainly throw everything they have at it - without success of course.

Aside from that, humanity will have the choice of believing their government and believing the ET visitors - who will they choose?

Humanity has been conditioned, ever since the earlest days of movies and TV that "aliens" are here to "destroy" us or to "take over the world" and will readily believe it. There was a case a few decades ago when "The war of the worlds" was broadcast on radio as if it as actually happening now, to make it seem more real, and the result was mass hysteria and panic, with people literally running for the hills. It took quite sometime to restore normality.

The exception - in fact the only exception that I am aware of - is the movie "Close encounters of the third kind" which this channeling sounds like.

How will the ET visitors spread the word?

I really hope it does happen - anything that shakes humanity up and opens them to other realities is good - but I will not be holding my breath.

Like I said I almost passed this off as just more bogus information, but for some reason this has sparked an interest in me to at least anticipate the possible upcoming date of only 23 days from now.  From their description of the craft it appears it could be of very considerable size.  I'm assuming from their description that their ship would be centered in the southern hemisphere and would stretch far enough to reach across the states of the U.S.  That would make the ship several thousand miles wide if I'm assuming that correctly.  Also for an event like this to be significant enough to "rock" the planet so to speak and shake the very foundation of very strongly held belief systems then I would assume even further that the ship would be very large.  I wouldn't think a small ship would have any effect.  In my opinion the larger the ship the greater the effect.

If it does happen I will definitely keep my eyes on the news not only because of the space ship in and of itself but mainly to see the reaction of everyone on the planet.  I would be very interested to see how we react, how we respond, and how people might possibly change their views, ideas, and attitudes.  My hope is the intentions of this visit will succeed in what they came here to achieve, and that is to wake up the people who have been under the control of their religions, governments, ego, and beliefs.

Well anyway, it's just around the corner, so lets just see what happens.

Thank you for sharing this. It is very interesting. I view this as only the beginning of seeing signs and wonders. The beginning of birthing of a New Age. No fear. Anything that is for the Light is for the Light.

'White Cloud ' is interesting. Cloud or 'Creation of the Cloud' is considered to be one of the most effective means by which change can be produced by many of the Eastern and Western Adepts. It is refered to also in the Old Testament in the story of I believe Elijah in creating rain. Cloud was refered to by the Apostle Paul as in surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. Cloud in reference to Infinite Energy, which is everywhere present but nowhere manifest until it is called into action. Invokation or to others prayer by command in the name of a Masterful Being(s) for assistance, whose secured success is in the ability to produce change at will through their contact with the Higher Mind.

In the meantime, perhaps we could assist in Being of the One Mind and Let there Be Light.

What I like most about this is that at least a real date in the very near future has been provided so we can see whether it is true or not.

If it is true and it does happen, it will be very interesting to see how the world reacts - particularly the US who have been collaborating with ET's for years but denying it, and certainly do not want the ET's compromising their plans.

The space vehicle - which is supposed to be 7 miles across, travels in the same way all ET's travel - beyond time and space - before materialising in the space-time continuum.

I have been giving this quite a bit of thought as you can probably imagine.  I'm sure everyone who knows or has heard of this supposed event has given this a lot of thought.  Even though I mentioned earlier about my lack of concern whether they show up or not as far as my own personal spiritual development is concerned I would most certainly love to experience this event.  I mean who wouldn't?  I'm sure it would be a very awe inspiring and spectacular moment.  The more I think about it the more I hope that this event takes place.  And I'll explain the reason in just a moment.

This anticipated event is growing tremendously in popularity and spreading across the Internet like wildfire from what I have been observing.  I have now seen many many videos and have read many responses about this event and the message received by Blossom Goodchild, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how few critics, flaming responses, and sarcastic ridicules there are.  It appears that the majority of people responding to this are taking to this quite positively and with much anticipation.  Even though there are still quite a bit of critics, I would have expected a lot more criticism.  It's a good sign that the change in the consciousness of the majority of humanity is actually increasing as has been mentioned here several times.

My concern is this however.  Since this and other messages pertaining to the same event have been relayed through channelers, these messages including this event of course will be, up until the event actually occurs, associated with "New Agers" and the occult.  Of course U.F.O's have always been associated as such, but my point is this.  I feel that if this event does not take place then that will further validate and solidify in their mind what a lot of people see as just more hocus pocus religion that are followed by hippy wackos.  This could heavily influence those who are "on the fence" about what direction they should take in their lives regarding their own enlightenment and spiritual development by exploring other possibilities.  I feel that a no-show could divert them into another direction away from that which could have more quickly provided them the enlightenment they seek.  They would most likely associate any "New Age" type of information that could've potentially given them the enlightenment they have been searching for to be in the same genre as U.F.O.'s, channelers, light workers, spiritualists, etc., and maybe even quantum physics, or anything that is outside of popular accepted beliefs that led them on and gave them hope only to be met with what they perceived as failure and disappointment.  They would then most likely reject any information in that regard for a long time to come.  I feel since so many people are anticipating this event and are hoping for this to occur that if it doesn't it could be a major set back.  I hope I'm wrong in that assumption, and I hope I don't have to find out if they don't show up.

On the other hand, if this event does take place then the results could....no WILL be monumental to say the least.  I feel the changes in the perceptions and attitudes of a great deal of people after this event will be extraordinary.  If this event is as significant as "The Federation of Light" intend it to be, then I think this could lead to a major leap forward to humanity's ongoing transition into the new age and spiritual evolution.

If this event does not occur it is my desire that most people can look past this.  Maybe the failed expectation of this event in and of itself could lead to an increase in the shift in consciousness causing more people to look within themselves.  Just the increasing amount of interest and anticipation in this event shows that people are searching for answers to the meaning and purpose of life other than what society, religions, and governments have been brainwashing them to believe all their lives.  There has been such a tremendous increase in recent years in the number of people leaving their religions and searching for other sources of information.  You can see it in the number of mystical and metaphysical websites exploding across the internet like an atomic bomb.  The increase in membership to all these websites and forums is astonishing.  So again if this event were to actually occur I feel it would be a major push in a positive direction.

I look forward to October 14th.  The way my emotions feel at this moment I can probably say I would be somewhat disappointed if nothing transpired on this date, but I know now that the Universe always works in perfect harmony, and living life in the Now quickly dissolves any disappointments or regrets to almost never having existed to begin with.

Thank you for sharing your deeply sensed and interesting thoughts. In reading your post here, I was reminded of various events that have been 'predicted' in years 'past' where people were attentively awaiting for someone or something to come to pass or show up. And it didn't necessarily happen at the given date.

These things haven't kept us from moving into deeper consciousness. Personally, I sense the 'reason' these things haven't happened as scheduled was perhaps the alignment was 'off'. Who's holding this alignment up by vascillating kind of thing. We're waiting for ... all to be present

There has always been fence sitters, with or without monumental events and while I share your view of how wonderful this event may be, it may not necessarily change the minds of skeptics who always seem to be able to explain these things away if only in their own minds. And some of the explaining away is stranger than the actual events.

Any thing out of the mainstream religious view is considered 'New Age', occultic, demonic or satanic due to all of us hippy wackos doin' so many drugs back in the day and the music we listened to and the way we dressed just proved it.


An event such as this could have any range of effects on the inhabitants of this planet. Sheer panic or sheer bliss or business as usual, depends on where one is at in the moment of awareness. Asleep, just awake or been awake for awhile...


It seems to me anyway that the shift in consciousness has been ongoing and growing for quite some time now. A natural progression which personally, I believe will continue to increase whether this happens or not due to a Divine Plan or Blueprint.

I agree, the Universe always maintains Perfect Harmony.

For now, it's with a watchful eye on it while keeping on with the daily growing.

Hello everyone,

I am also noticing considerable anticipation of this event on the Internet.

While I hope that this event actually does occur as scheduled, I am not holding my breath.

I have never known channeled information about events such as this to have ever happened. For example, Nancy Lieder of Zetatalk.com who supposedly channels the Zeta Reticulans - aka the "Greys" - was convinced she received channeled information that Nibiru/Planet X would arrive in 2003, and posted the details everywhere including science groups. Needless to say it did not happen.

So do not get your hopes up too high - if it happens it happens and will be good, but if not it is just another channeling that has not been true.

I just thought I would add a little bit of FYI in here.  There seems to be a few synchronicities on this date.  First I'm sure most if not all already know there will be a full moon on this date.  Also it appears NASA has a launch scheduled on this date to do some HUBBLE repairs.

I also noticed someone mentioning about the Mayan calendar indicating October 14th and the 16th as being a "Galactic Activation Portal" or something.  I'm not sure if that means anything, but I haven't done any research into it yet, and I probably won't unless I feel the urge to investigate it further in my free time.  If anyone knows anything about it and would like to shed some light on it then that would be grand.

Yes, certainly. I shall try to tell it right from the beginning. We of the Pleiadian civilisation are one of many races of beings that are space-bound. That is we have ships that can traverse the vast distances of space. The other space-bound races that we meet with that agree to a charter of Service to Other and non-intervention and so forth are invited to join an organisation called the Galactic Federation of Light. The Galactic Federation has been quite directly involved in your planet in many, many ways for your planets whole history. of late we have been bringing great many ships into the environment of your planet in order to assist with numerous subtle duties. I can list a few: assisting with the balancing of your magnetosphere, working against your destructive tendencies by disallowing nuclear explosions and similar, beaming in an balancing frequencies of light that assist in the ascension process, severely curtailing the negative activities of other self-serv ing space races and so on and so on. The list is long. The point is we have been here in the environs of your planet for a long time working very hard to assist in your welfare though you have not know about it. You see we can work across different densities of existence and we confine ourselves to densities other than your own so that we are not observed. This has been important as our non-interventionist policies dictate that we do not force ourselves upon a population that does not ask for, and is not ready for our arrival. But now, in the last number of years consciousness has been shifting on your planet. For many reasons. One is that there have been appearances by other self-serving space-bound races on your planet. They are not party to our Galactic Federation charter and so they behave with impunity. The managed to arrange an agreement with the American government many years ago which basically gave them access to your planet in exchange for militarily useful secrets . This has now backfired on them. They attempted to be stealthy in their interactions with earth humans but they made many errors. Your awareness of them and their ships picked up dramatically and caused your population to begin to ask questions. Then, with the incoming light consciousness on your planet has shifted radically. You are simply no longer willing to believe everything your governments tell you. You are no longer willing to be lead like lambs to the slaughter of the gods of fear and war. You think for yourselves and you ask questions. So, along this path you began to remember lives amongst us out in the stars. Or you reached out to us in your minds. Or in a heightened state of awareness you opened your perception to our ships in the neighbouring densities. Whatever the case might be you began to become aware of us. We were waiting. We eagerly engaged with any that would welcome it. We encouraged such engagement with subtle inputs like the crop circle phenomenon. And slowly the mind-set of earth inhabitants shifted. And now we are here at point where a significant number of earth's population are ready to know about our existence and are available to the possibility that we might be peaceful, loving and of positive intent. Despite all the power cabals efforts to paint us as bad and to be feared your people are ready to hear that we are of good intent. And so the time comes. We are ready to make a showing. We will do so soon.

What form will the showing take?

You can prepare yourselves to see a single very large light-ship flying over certain well populated areas of your planet. It will fly slowly and will be visible over those areas for long enough for you to get a good eyeful. No more little flashes in the corner of your eye. This time you can stand and stare. You can take photographs and videos. You can call your friends and neighbours out to look. it will be in the sky for a long time and slowly move out over a period of a few days across enough of the world that there will be absolutely zero chance of anyone trying to say this was anything other than what it was. The swamp-gas theorists and the weather-balloon nay-sayers will finally have a very good meal of their hats. Not only will you see the ship but it will put on a display. We will make sure it is pretty to look at with pleasant and entertaining light displays upon its surface. It will also perform acrobatics. A few loops and so forth. Which will be extremely im pressive given its size. You see it is a large ship that we have chosen for this sortie. It is several of your miles across.

Yes it was important that we chose a competent ship. You see your earth cabal is in cahoots with others that have space-flight technology. This is the very, very last thing they want. They will do anything at all to stop this happening and if they cannot stop it they will do anything to abort it and if they cannot do that they will do anything to make it appear as if we are attackers - invaders of your planet. So you see we chose a very large and very advanced ship. One of the most advanced in our fleet. This will mean that we can not only repel any efforts of attack but we can actually do so without counter-attacking. You will NOT see our ship take aggressive action no matter what occurs. So any provocation will be obvious for what it is - an attack on us. There will be absolutely no possibility of confusion. But it goes further than that. This particular ship has the capability of foiling attack in some very remarkable ways. We do not expect to be attacked at all. B ut we prepare for every eventuality. The most important thing to us -the prime objective number one - is that no one is harmed at all. This is what we strive for.

There is another reason for us using such a large ship. You see your earth cabal has some ships at its disposal. I shall use your vernacular and call them "flying saucers". These or horrible little tin-can devices but they can be (and sometimes are) confused for our ships when they are seen by your earth-human eyes, unaccustomed as you are to what our technology looks like. We want you to get a good look at our technology so that the possibility of you thinking these flying sardine-cans are ours is forever eliminated. You will know our ships when you see them. Our ships are living light... not tin. They are beautiful and graceful and utterly silent. They will resonate with your hearts when you see them. You will never again be confused about which is which.

You have no idea my dear young friend! We are even more excited. You cannot comprehend how much we have desired this moment and how much work has gone into the preparations for it.

So when? You previously said "before the end of the year". Since then I have come across other channels that all seem pretty sure about October. So when?

Yes, it is true that we plan to do this in October but we have to take the exigencies of the moment into account. This is an incredibly delicate thing. We are deeply concerned about what the opposition might try to do and so we might need to shift the date around in response. I did not wish to have you feel embarrassed if I gave you a date and it did not materialise on that date. I am well aware of your internal struggle with releasing this information. You pin your colours to the mast in a new way now. You place your own personal credibility at stake by allowing me to channel this information through you. Now, for the first time an even t will either occur or not occur which will cause people to say "Zingdad's channellings came true!" or "Zingdad is a bit of a damp squid - his channellings are bogus". I want to work carefully w ith you on this and do not want to set you up for the self-doubt that might come as a result of a failed "prophecy". So anyway, I will confirm the plan for mid-October but ask for leniency if the date needs a tweaking. But we will be gracing your skies with our ship. Of that I assure you.

Yeah- thanks for the consideration. It is a nervy thing for me to post this. But, you know, the info I have received from you and other spirit beings has so improved my life that, even if this is all bogus it has still been the best thing I have ever done.

But that's another discussion for another day. What I'd next like to ask is where the ship will be visible from. Which cities?

This is a sensitive point. You'll notice no channels will give this information. It is important strategically to keep the opposition guessing. They must not be able to prepare for this. If they have exact locations they may be able to pre-empt what we plan and make our lives a little more difficult. So this info will be with-held until we are certain they can do nothing about it. What I will say is this: numerous large cites will get a good view but we will avoid areas where your military's retaliation could cause harm your people.

Okay, got it. So what then, if anything can we do to help with your plans?

Thank you for asking that important question. A lot. I would like to appeal to everyone that reads this to:

1. Secure your own heart first. Please, I implore you, open yourself to the possibility that our ship appearing MIGHT JUST be a good sign. Examine the possibility that we might be beings of love come to help you and your planet to move forward to a bright future. Then, when the ship appears look at it. Really look with open eyes, open mind and open heart. Look and judge for yourself what you think our intent and nature is. See how we behave. Se that we have technology which is so far beyond your own as to be impossibly for you to even conceive of. See that we could if we desired take your planet militarily without any difficulty whatsoever. See that your military would be absolutely helpless to stop us. And see that we do not. See that we are making a friendly - even loving - overture. Simply saying "hello neighbour". See that our intentions are friendly not because they must be but because this is our nature.

2. If you are ready for that or already with us then please assist others to overcome their fears. You may do this by sharing these channeled messages with all your friends. You do not need to believe that our ship will arrive nor do you need to endorse it and say you believe it. Keep your credibility in tact. Share it as a discussion point or even as a joke. But get your friends and family to the point of saying "if they DO appear then I will be willing to entertain the notion that they are friendly". It is vital to your safety that you do not panic. We need you to at least be open to looking before you panic. We need you to share this message. Simply help to calm people and avert panic.

3. Those of you that meditate or pray or engage in such spiritual pursuits I kindly request that you work this event into your spiritual process. For example, if you meditate then you may wish to visualise this vast beautiful light-ship overhead and all the people on the ground looking at it with joy, happy expectancy, awe and delight. But please use whatever mode you have connecting with spirit to send positive loving energy to the earth humans that witness this event. Please do this regularly. It would be appreciated. And you may also request dream-visions! Try this: before you fall asleep at night hold firm the following intent: "I wish to see in my dreams the light ship flying over planet earth and to be a part of the joyful witnessing of this event and to remember this dream when I awake". Try it. We have been placing this dream imagery in the consciousness grid quite strongly the last while. It would be fun for you to get it and it would help us as this would an chor the positive associations even more strongly on the planet.

4. And then finally, on the day of the event please be extra vigilant to help people that show symptoms of extreme fear. Help them with love. But we really envisage this extreme fear response to be very, very minimal. The overwhelming probability is that you will not witness such a response at all.

I just get more and more excited! So then, Adamu, all I can still think to ask is "what then?" What do you have planned for after the fly-by?

We will give the inhabitants of planet earth a little while to settle down. This will cause a massive step-wise shift in your consciousness. There are a good number of beings that are on planet earth right now that will suddenly awaken to their memories of who and what they are when this even occurs. They will spring into action and do that which they came to do. You are one such. Others on this forum are too. This event will catalyse massive change. Expect old dark-based systems to implode and crash. Expect massive changes in your planetary systems. Your financial systems and political systems and so forth will radically alter very quickly. Some of these changes will bring with them some discomfort while the new, better systems are put in place. Expect some upheaval but please do not bring fear to the party! Bring confidence and love. Be prepared to help your fellow humans and be of a generous heart. These changes will be quite swift. We will be very actively monitor ing the situation. When we deem it right, necessary, expedient and to the highest good we will land and make personal contact. Then you'll meet us and be able to speak to us face-to-face. But there is no way now for me to tell you when that will be. Let us deal with this first event first.

As days draw closer to our arrival, let it be known that there will be a tremor … a rumbling would be more apt. This is to be of no fear, but it is unavoidable.

There was a 7.3 earthquake off the coast of New Zealand today.  Not sure if this was what they were talking about, but interesting to note nonetheless.
