At the final analysis however the number 13 as well as Friday 13
have, over the centuries become firmly rooted in the human psyche
as an irrational fear, albeit a powerful and pervasive fear,
approaching in scale the biggest of all irrational fears - fear of
the change known as "death".

So what is the truth of the number 13?

Is there a more enlightened truth?

Yes there is.

Before the advent of orthodox religion, our ancient ancestors,
before the fall of humanity to its present levels, were generally
very enlightened people, including, but not limited to the Ancient
Egyptians, Ancient Chinese and Tibetans, and the Ancient Indians as
well as the now lost races inhabiting the lands of Atlantis and
Lemuria and many other lost civilisations now lying hundreds or
thousands of feet under the sea that are now being discovered.

What did 13 mean to these wise ancients?

To the Ancient Egyptians 13 was a very sacred number representing
Enlightenment. To the Ancient Egyptians there were 12 steps on the
path of evolution in physical life, the 13th step representing the
final transcendence of the cycles of incarnation to achieve
enlightenment and the gateway to greater things including Spiritual
immortality.

13 had a similar and sacred significance to the Ancient Chinese.

We only need to look at nature to see the significance of the
number 13.

There are 13 lunar cycles in a year. Many other cycles of the year
are in cycles of 13.

The path of the moon across the sky is over 13 degrees.

There are numerous other examples of the number 13 appearing in
nature - all manifestations of the First Cause, of Source, of God
Who is Perfect, and never created anything that is in any way
imperfect.

An excellent example of such perfection and symmetry is "Metatron's
Cube" - the "fruit of life".

Metatron's cube broadly consists of 13 circles arranged in the form
of a perfect figure - a dodecahedron. Each circle is considered to
be a node, each connected to another circle by a single line,
resulting in 78 lines or "paths".

Metatron's cube has many levels of occult meanings, too many and
complex to discuss here, but the broad significance is that
Metatron is said to have created the cube from His own Soul, which
is an aspect of Perfection, just as humans in turn are an aspect of
perfection.

So here, in Metatron's Cube we see 13, as with the Ancient Egyptians
representing Perfection - how can 13 in therefore be considered to
be "unlucky".

Much more can be said about the number 13, but the above is
sufficient to clearly see that fear of the number 13 is clearly
both irrational and superstitious, originally arising from the
superstition of religion which itself controls the lives of billions
of people.

That said - superstitions can be and often are very real to those
adhering to  them, with a failure to submit to the superstition
often resulting in something "bad" happening.

For example - where I live there is a great tradition of folklore
going back over many centuries. On a main road here there is a
bridge called "The Fairy Bridge" where a group of benevolent
"faeries" or "fay folk" are said to live. The local residents
always greet the "faeries" as they pass over the bridge lest they
offend the "faeries" who would then exact retribution. Many a time
a superstitious person has failed to greet the "faeries" and has
experience a negative event such as a tyre blowout on their car
soon afterwards.

There are countless other cases of people who have experienced "bad
luck" as a direct result of failing to perform some sort of
superstitious ritual such as for example "knocking on wood".

So how can this be so, especially among many otherwise rational
people?

The answer lies within the power of the Subconscious Mind and The
Law of Attraction.

Plain and simple - whatever we believe to be true is true. So if we
believe that the number 13 is "unlucky", or that by failing to form
a specific action or ritual some negative experience will arise,
then so shall it be.

The Subconscious Mind, or more correctly Subconsciousness is that
aspect of our Mind that is also an aspect, channel of expressions
of Universal Mind and is therefore infinitely powerful.

In accordance with The Law of Attraction whatever we think about
persistently, focus on or imagine we will attract - whether it is
rational, wanted or not.

Subconsciousness is immutable and makes no effort to determine
whether any thought or action "makes sense" or not - that is for
the Conscious Mind to determine, and it is the Conscious Mind that
adheres to superstitions.

Any "bad" event arising from failing to adhere to a superstition is
the direct result of the fear of the consequences of that
superstition - every single time - no exceptions.

So how does a superstitious person rid themselves of the fear of
number 13 or indeed any other superstition?

Well there are several ways of approaching this.

1. Look at the facts of the superstition. Instead of simply blindly
adhering to a superstition, as with religion for example, instead
question it's logic. Ask yourself, honestly, how failing to do
something, or doing it incorrectly, can possible result in a
certain event.

It will not be long before the truth of the superstition becomes
apparent.

2. Understand the power of the Subconscious aspect of Mind -
Subconsciousness - and how it attracts your experiential reality.

By understanding your own Divine connections and therefore powers,
you will be able to take positive control over your own experience
instead of being a slave to age-old superstition.

3. Confront the superstition head-on.

For example - if you are afraid of the number 13 or Friday 13, go
and do things that include the number 13 and make Friday 13 a
special day for activities with your family or friends.

Celebrate Friday 13 with a meal or some other treat.

Go to the shops on Friday 13 and purchase 13 of something, or
purchase something that includes the number 13 in the price.

If you are afraid of walking under a ladder then make an effort to
go into town and walk under as many ladders as you encounter.

If you are afraid of breaking a mirror then obtain a cheap mirror
and break it - being careful not to cut yourself and disposing of
the pieces safely where no one else can cut themselves.

At first these actions might give rise to anxiety, apprehension or
even fear, but nevertheless you must confront these emotions and
continue regardless. For example whenever such an emotion arises,
say firmly ""Cancel!, Cancel!, Cancel!" continuing until it
dissipates.

Keep telling yourself that you are a logical, rational person, an
expression of God with absolute power over your own experience.

You will soon find that after no adverse consequences result from
any of these actions that your superstition no longer has power over
you, and will simply dissipate leaving you feeling lighter, happier
and exhilarated.

Above all always keep in Mind that we all create our own reality at
every level, and there are no external "forces" beyond our control
that can bring about anything we would not wish for.

I didn't know this forum was here!

I have been waiting for this day because of youtube videos. Its October 14th now and no one seems to be seeing any space ships. Its supposed to be in the Southern Hemisphere I guess. I wonder if it is going to enter U.S. Air space?

But what if it doesn't come? The Illuminati that has everyone so brain washed will continue to be in power. I just want people to wake up & stop being so close minded. Stop believing everything the news and Scientific Community tells them. Stop being so overly Religions to the point where you aren't aloud to believe anything unless a preacher says it. Stop believing people who tell you "War is necessary, its the only way to be safe". If they do not come the Illuminati will continue to rule. The media will elect the President for us. Our resources we be secretly stolen from us (like the 2.3 trillion dollars of our tax dollars missing). People will continue to abuse our planet.

The space vehicle - which is supposed to be 7 miles across, travels in the same way all ET's travel - beyond time and space - before materialising in the space-time continuum.

I had thought about this being much more likely then Saucers traveling across light years of space. Even if they could it wouldn't be by any means a safe trip! So do you mean to say that these hi-tech craft teleport here? Some make the wild claim that they come from inner earth. Nonsense I believe its hallow but not inhabited.

Unfortunately a LOT of people had put their hopes and dreams into this event.  I myself would have liked to have seen this event take place.  Who wouldn't?  I'm now interested in seeing how people will react to the absence of this event that was to occur today on October 14th.  I've been watching several forums and the disappointment seems to be a bit profound among a few already.  There are still many who are positive and remain resolved as well as those who are negative and disappointed.  Like I said earlier in this thread this could possibly cause further negative reactions and could possibly reinforce a lot of belief systems causing quite a few people to become more enslaved by their beliefs, and has the potential to turn people away from anything perceived as "New Age-ish".  I'm hoping that's a bit extreme, but it is possible.

I realize there have been many other such predictions in the past that never took place, but I don't think these other predictions were as popular and profound as this one, especially in such a short amount of time.  This could also possibly have a negative effect on people just getting into teachings that contain information about the Law of Attraction.  I can already hear it now.  "If the Law of Attraction really works like these New Age gurus say it does then why didn't this space ship appear on October 14th?  Since so many many people were focusing their thoughts and emotions on this one event, then why didn't the Law of Attraction bring this event into their reality?"  And that I feel would be unfortunate as they would likely never accept any books or teachings containing information about such things as the Law of Attraction, as they would feel it is nothing more than just more rubbish, and they may never understand in their current expression how the Law of Attraction really works.  I hope I'm wrong in that assumption.

Instead of looking at this from a negative perspective I would rather think this could have a more positive outcome and a better outlook - even more so than what an event like this was expected to bring.  Like I said earlier, what I hope will happen is that instead of a lot of people falling into despair and being disappointed in the no-show event, they will turn this around and realize there was no need for any ship to begin with.  They will stop and say to themselves: "I've had enough.  I'm sick of being lied to.  I'm sick of people promising false hopes.  I don't need false hope."  And then in their anger and frustration they may start to realize why they needed hope to begin with.  What has caused them to need hope for a better life anyway, and then say to themselves: "I am my own person, and I have the ability to save myself.  I'm sick of this failing and shaky economy.  I'm sick of all the lies and deceit by our government leaders and politicians.  I'm sick of being a slave to the government and the monetary system.  I don't need outside help.  I can help myself.  I can help others.  I can show people how to help themselves and others.  We can do this and survive and be even more successful without the help or control of any government or some spaceship."  And that I feel is where the awakening in that person will occur.  The shackles of their belief system will begin to fall.  They will learn to look within instead of without.  They will begin to realize that the solutions to all their perceived problems have always been within them their entire life.  Their vibration will start to increase dramatically, and as this increase in vibration spreads throughout the collective consciousness, then humanity will be ready to make the transition into the new age - the next evolution.

Anomalous Light Sighting in Denver, Colorado
A reader wrote to me on Monday, October 13, 2008 sharing his recent experience: ". . . I just wanted to share something I witnessed last Wed at 8:30 PM in Denver. I was taking out the trash, and for some reason, I looked up into the sky. I saw an orange ball of light, small enough to easily be mistaken for an airplane, but it was completely solid… not a quiver, not a single hint of the flashing FAA lights required on all aircraft. To be sure, I also saw a couple planes appearing quite a bit smaller, both of which I still could see the flash of their identifying lights. Anyway, JUST as I was beginning to convince myself that it must be a plane, what appeared to be a shooting star lit up, crossed the orange light perfectly, so if I had taken a picture that very moment, it would have appeared as a single point of light. The possible meteorite simply trailed off and quickly disappeared but the orange light continued on for about another minute, in an arc pattern. I noticed it when it was approximately over Lookout Mountain, and came toward me to the east, slowly turning south, then totally and completely disappeared. I have no clue as to its origin obviously, but it was very anomalous and interesting . . . " Todd - Denver, Colorado

If Todd hadn't written to me yesterday, I might have had a difficult time making out what Bob and I viewed early this morning between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Last night we went to bed early, exhausted from the massive energy waves that flowed through yesterday. We weren't sure what was going on, but it was something -- enough to exhaust us and set us on edge.

For the last several evenings we've been waking, wide awake, in the middle of the night for no reason, and then having difficulty returning to sleep, tossing restlessly. Well, early this morning, Bob woke again and got up to go look out the window. Several minutes later, he woke me, asking me to get out of bed and come look at something. I got up, put my glasses on and went with him to the bedroom window. We looked north, northwest out over the Los Animas River Valley and witnessed an orange light glowing through the clouds above the valley. The evening sky was smattered with choppy clouds and moonlight coming through from the almost full moon to our west, southwest.

My logical brain immediately kicked into gear. First, I looked at the moon, wondering if it was causing these orange lights in the clouds, but that didn't seem to fit. Then, Bob and I considered the clouds bouncing light from the city of Durango. But the main city lights were much too far away to cause this kind of bright glow. Then, we checked to see if we were at sunrise. But the sun wasn't coming up yet.

We turned back to the orange glow in the clouds and I took an intuitive leap and started talking to it. I said, "We see you. Thank you for coming." Immediately, as if on cue, the orange glow of light in the clouds became brighter and a more intense orange. Then, staying in place, it began shifting -- spreading out, then pulling in, and moving around a bit. I felt like it was talking to us.

It was all a bit too unnerving for me, someone who even wants things like this to happen, so I ran and leaped back into bed. Bob made a tour around the house looking to see if there were any other lights from other directions. He didn't find any. When he came back, we went back to the window. The orange lights had dramatically faded, but as we were back at the window, they lit back up again to about half the intensity of before.

Then Bob looked out across the valley and noted in another part of the mountainous landscape that he calls the gravel pits over by alot of biking trails, he saw something really lit up. He pointed it out and asked me if I had seen those gravel pits lit up before? I couldn't remember lights like that in that location (I spend some time meditating out on the deck where we were viewing from).

After awhile, the orange glow completely extinguished itself and so did the lights across the valley at the gravel pit location. We went back to bed but I couldn't sleep. I was too excited. This morning I've spent scanning the skies, and seen nothing else -- except a beautiful double rainbow to the west. Another spirit gift.

Through this morning, it also occurred to me that where the bright orange glow appeared in the sky was also the same location I was called to do some energetic light work earlier this summer. About mid summer one evening, Spirit boomed at me to get out to the deck and meditate. I grumbled because I wanted to get my evening tea, but I've learned not to dawdle anymore. So I hustled to the deck. Almost immediately, another being/voice came through that locationally was 'out there' and felt over the river valley and asked if they had permission to connect light cords, or a light tunnel opening from the sky to the Earth into the Durango proper city grid. I said, "Yes, Absolutely." And then I helped them open the energies and connect in the light cords. In those moments, I could feel that just doing this would open access for Spirit (and/or extra terrestrials) on the other side to connect in and work with light with individuals who might not have had access.

As I write this, I realize it's as much our responsibility to help open energetic gateways for the Divine Highly Intended E.T.'s to come through as anything. Sure, they can help us, but we have to do our part too. It's important that we ask for them to come in the first place (we still live on a planet of free will). Once they show up, it's important that we recognize them. This is a little more difficult because the mass media doesn't help us pinpoint sightings and actually debunks, blocks and de-reports sightings. Sometimes we don't even know what we're seeing, so we convince ourselves its something else. This is where we help one another in sharing our experiences and this is why small press, media, etc is so important. Lastly, when they do arrive and we recognize them, its important to confirm their presence and thank them. These are practical energetic basics.

Over the past week since interviewing Niara Isley (please check out her interview on the Voice Page at "http://www.thepurplephoenix.com/podcasts/Interview_Niara_Isley_2.html") it also has occurred to me that the Extra Terrestrial light ships appearing might be the beginning of a process, the beginning of an awakening. Niara used an interesting word during her interview with me. She used the word 'de-cloak' in the experience of the light ships potentially appearing. We didn't talk about it and this has been sitting in my consciousness ruminating. The word de-cloak says to me that the light ships are already here, it's just a matter of us becoming able to be open enough in our hearts and minds to wrap ourselves around seeing them. Consider the scene in "What the Bleep" movie about the medecine man, standing on the shore, looking out to harbor, 'feeling' the sailing ship of Columbus. He cou ldn't see it with his physical eyes, but he could sense something was there. He kept looking until his eyes visibly focussed upon what his intuitive already knew was in place. Once he 'saw' the ship, then others in the village could also see. It only took a few to affect the entire collective.

Could it be that what our culture considers to be the village idiots are the individuals (psychics, healers, energy workers, shamans, etc.) who are picking up intuitively on the 'unseen' and beginning to make it 'seen' in our collective? Maybe a full global viewing of light ships is about enough of us tuning in to them so that others may pick up on them as well. Yesterday, energetically felt like a collective energetic wave powering through the entire globe prepare masses to wake up.

As a side note, when I began awakening to the well intended ideas of Divine Extra Terrestrials on the planet, Niara introduced to me the information of Victoria Liljenquist. Liljenquist, in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, is a life long experiencer, intermediary and channeler of Divine E.T.'s. Her video footage helped me understand the different types of anomalous lights in the sky connected to our consciousness that is us connecting with and experiencing Extra Terrestrials. when I heard about 10-14
my impression was to replace the idea of "spaceships" and "aliens" with angels, and spiritual beings
who perhaps construct "vehicles" composed of light energy for the purpose of traveling in order to reach those who cannot understand teleportation

now i steadfastly resisted and still do the idea of any absurd metallic or technological objects being used because to me technology and spirituality are polar opposites

and my understanding and impression and wishful thinking of the federation is that they are spiritual beings of pure energy and/or humans who have fully liberated the merkaba energies and live in peace with nature, who can create a "ship" which can shift into third density in order to reach the common folk-le here (rhymes with yokel)

now with this in mind, the day of 10-14 not seeing anything, someone in a facebook group said something like "don't be disappointed they are here, we've been looking at the sunsets and seeing lots of rainbow colors and shimmering lights."
well, yesterday,
i went to teach yoga class
outside the center, by the setting sun
on the right
is a splotch of rainbow colors
i look closely for a good long while
the center of this splotch is a white glowing orb of light
very subtle yes but clearly a 300 foot section of clouds is illuminated by a light source other than the sun, a very OBVIOUS contrast !
now the colors are vertical lines, primarily on the left of the orb, rising up to several miles in height/distance, primarily the pastel red hue yet the rainbow spectrum can be discerned as well (the full one)
so essentially in the middle of OK I am looking at what seems to be an aurora-borealis of sorts, yet, with this glowing circle in the middle of it (hiding beneath clouds but visible)

and then i notice on the left side of the setting sun is naother long patch of color
and that if these could form a 500 mile circle woven around the sun, they would have, but primarily were vertical lines with slight curvature, no light source on t he left, but a definite other-wordly and / or paranormal light source in the center of the right color streak.

now THIS is what
I had hoped for
and it made me quite happy and optimistic.

now my numbers may be exaggerating but imagine, practically the whole entire sky that a human can see while looking forward (not looking up or anything of the sort) simply upon the horizon, that practically this whole height, at least 3/4 of it, has a rainbow streak rising subtly in it, vertically.
the orb was 3/4 the size of the setting sun as well, and a small section of light clouds were *******clearly******** lit up with light,
very very obvious
yet "hiding" unless you are one who will even care to look at the clouds, and I was the only one of the people walking by.

now also understand that no matter what anyone says, if a true ship came like 10-14 messages described, it would be too great a shock, yet if these energies gradually come in, and more rainbows appear, plus, gradual transitionary energies of love and light, then, most common folk will never understand what is happening, yet eventually a critical mass will be reached, and within several months of gradual unfolding, these sights may be normal, and open us to rainbow energies, nice ideas.....

Materialism is Spirituality's polar opposite. I don't share your anti-Technology point of view. Take this Hi-tech Device we are using right now born of Taoism Philosophies. Sure people use it to buy things but over all it is a tool for the Awakening. I wouldn't be Spiritual or have found Adrian's book without it. This Technology brings people together consciously who are already connected subconsciously.

About your sighting of light. Do not play into this 10-14 stuff anymore. Perhaps you saw something but there are always sightings. The Federation of Light was supposed to come and give us Hope against the Illuminati Masonic Alliance. It clearly didn't happen. Hope is as hallow as fear. This is simply because ONLY each one of us can save ourselves.

it is a counter-balance, a necessity for triangulation and communication, to catalyze movement

I am sorry but I must disagree. The internet is freeing people from the control of the orthodox religions. It takes power away from the Media. I wouldn't be Voting for Ralph Nader without the internet because I otherwise wouldn't know he exist. I wouldn't know how corrupt the Federal Reserve is without the internet. The internet makes it easy to research both sides of any issue. It lets you see the facts known to Scientist that do not fit into the Theories we were taught in High School! Science is a new religion. Everything the majority of people know about Religion, Politics & Science is WRONG!
