.. and I'm here - a newbie really - looking for stories and ideas and personal experience from people who have conciously created their reality (rather than habitually which I still seem to be in a rut with) for personal inspiration - has anyone a story to share??

Hi Angelapw, good to have you here!

I have manifested many little things in my life which are all adding up to a big difference! Affirmations and consciously positive thoughts really do work! I've seen so many things in my own life start working well since I've made myself much more aware of my negative thoughts and self talk, and turned them into positives instead.

One nice example....
After a few weeks of affirmations for increased finances, my wife and I re-financed our mortgage to invest some money into a new business. After everything was worked out, approved and signed, we completely unexpectedly ended up with an extra $5000 above what we we needed for the investment, and our mortgage had been re-arranged so that we are now paying less for it.

regards,
James.

Hi:

How many instances would you like?

We create our reality as an ongoing process. If you are talking about being in a rut then I'm your man, lol.

Give me an idea of the kind of rut. Anything from seriously suicidal kind of rut to just don't know which ice-cream to buy... kind of rut?

Yours,
Frank

It can get overly technical with respect to the idea of creating reality, and it serves a purpose I suppose, but the underlying theme of any action one takes towards this goal has to be trust.

I found myself in a spiritual, mental, and emotional jam around ten years ago, and reached an absolute low-point.

I could have checked out right then and there, but that's not my style. I almost did though due to the simple suffering involved.

So I had to make a desicion with respect to the rest of my life. But I did not know exactly what I wanted.

So I made a pact on the deepest level of my being I could reach. This was not too hard, since I was at an absolute low-point anyways.

The pact was with "the universe". I don't care how you call it and it matters not. Some people call it God.

The pact was as follows:

1) I will fully acknowledge and "accept" the reality I am in right now.

2) I will hang in there for another five years.

3) I will not waste any good opportunity given to me that comes along.

4) If in doubt whether it is a good opportunity, I will do the work necessary on a manifest level to honour that pact even if it doesn't pan out.

5) I will trust completely whatever the outcome even if it feels like loss in the process.

6) Even if that means no opportunity and checking out in five years in a  natural way.

So now I'm living in another country, have a great wife, have a great job, and life looks good.

I think I'll stick arund for a couple of more decades knowing I will be taken care of.  Smiley

There is a reality that exists in the power of our thoughts. Many people will refrain from saying something bad about another, however the same people may let their thoughts run wild. The lesson is to learn to also control our thoughts. I know, easier said than done.

This is something that I've been learning and working on for at least the last few years. Our thoughts create reality, and this reality will become manifest first in the non physical, then eventually manifest in the physical.

Think about it, there are examples in everyone's life, as has been pointed out by Major Tom and others above. I have many examples as well, and the question would be where to begin?

I choose to try to think good thoughts about myself and others. This is hard to do (particularly when I'm driving in busy traffic). However, if I can manage to take an angry situation, and think through it with the understanding that my thoughts manifest, I can almost immediately see the results. What could have been a volatile explosive situation, now is defused, and maybe a friendly wave and a smile.

It happens every moment we think a thought. I didn't pick that signature quote (below) by accident.   wink

I have suffered from depression for close to 10 years now, but through loving friends and family who were always positive and caring a snow ball like effect occured. They were positive and helped lift me up in hard times, and now the snowball has grown so large and strong with positive energy that I no longer really need their uplifting attitudes to keep my from slipping back into my darker state of mind.  They put out enough positive energy to where I started creating my own.  Never underestimate the power of love.  Give love, get love.

I had an expierians yesterday i must share here.

There is a girl in my neigborhood that i had heard listend to the same music as i did,,  I wanted to impress this girl whit my knowledge in this muiscal genre(Psy-trance). So i imagined meeting this girl and taking of her earphones and telling her the name of the song/group she was listening to.

Yesterday i did meet the girl whit earphones. and the thing i imagend happend exactly like i thought about it. It was even i the spot i thought it would be.And i did know de song she was listening to.I did not realize at the moment that this was my own creation i realized this when i woke upp this morning.

I had not been to this forum when i thought about this creation, I did not even think it in that way that i was going to create this reality. It was just something i wished would happen very purely.and went ttrough the process in my head of what would happen. Becuse i wanted the girl to be impressed by my knowledge of the music

This experians to me is a proof of what i have come to belive in life, and proof  that Adrians is right.

Maby even this is just a coincidens one would say.. But it was to much of the way i imagined it to be to just a coincidens, i Belive i created this.

By the way the time frame from thought to reality was about 6 moths.

Hello toon-tech,

Thank you very much for sharing your experience.

There is no such thing as "coincidence"; it just doesn't exist anymore than "luck", "chance" or "fortune".

Everyone constantly creates their own realities whether aware of it or not. Unfortuntely most people focus on the negative things happening in their life and of course attract more of the same.

If you, as you did, focus on something specific, and even speed things up with affirmations and other techniques, then it must also become a reality with absolute precision; it is Law.

Best regards,

Adrian.

Greetings all;

here's my two bits on the subject.

I had just gotten to a new life space, (job, apt, etc) and remember thinking how good things were going in my life at that time. I distinctly remember the beautiful sunny day when I just thot 'Now if I just a had a tru love in my life...." or something to that effect. more of a feeling actually than actual words.

Next thing I know I have a new more laid back job where i met my then future wife. And it was in a job that I could never see myself doing just six months earlier. She has been the tru love of my life going on 20 yrs now... - Amazing.

On the subject of manifestion,

I recall my brother telling me many years ago that if I could convince my conscious mind of the power of manifestation (or patterning as he called it) with something small, then anything was possible. He also warned me to be specific about what I wanted. So I decided to manifest "my perfect job". I defined exactly what constituted my perfect job, and using meditation, visualisation and affirmations I manifested my perfect job (I don't recall how long it took). This certainly convinced me that our thoughts have real powers and also made me very cautious about what thoughts I choose to focus on.
