Hi Waves or Shades of Louis!  cheesy wink

Dear Zulia

Laura, as you so aptly express, and I color, All colors create 'brown' ( the soil or earth) on this end of the picture, when you see brown it is the 'negative' (not quite clear) picture of the colors we choose to paint this negative or fill in your blanks photo. Choices  cool

I thought brown was dark orange? They say there are more colors in the Astral Realm. I don't see how this is possible. They must mean its more colorful!

Red-orange-yellow-green-cyan-blue-violet-pink-back to red again

its a cycle and there isn't room for any other colors, where would you put them?

However we have White-Black-Gray-Brown, these are seemingly outside of the cycle. Could there be more colors?

Peace

Louis

Why yes of course! If we color in this world, the base or primary colors are red - blue - yellow. And from there, the possibilities are endless truly. There is more than one way to mix these colors. Now we can lighten or bring for in brightness or tone down subdue, push back, or create shadows of the light by adding white or black.

Try mixing the red blue and yellow together and see what you get. Split this and add white to one side and black to the other. what do you see?

Play with this and let me know, I am open to your observations of the above.

Love to you always Louis,

Julia cool

I love John Mayer. Smiley

But did you know something about him?? (I found out when I was looking into some of my peculiarities Wink )

I had to scroll back and find the entry in my journal:

...Although he's never been diagnosed by a medical professional, Mayer experiences music → color synesthesia, or the sensation of "hearing colors,"...

Wednesday July 11, 2007 - 04:49pm

Synesthesia

Synesthesia: two or more bodily senses are coupled. – a rather poorly... made definition if I may say... <if I’m allowed to speak my mind … >

For everybody is different…Franz Liszt experienced music as colour, John Clayton Mayer also describes the sensation of "hearing colors" associated with music… Other famous people associate letters or numbers with colours. There are also described spatial a three-dimensional view of maps, temporal aspects as the time in history for example, 1980 may be "farther away" than 1990, smell association with sensations or moods and the list grows…. involves sensory linkings such as sound → vision or touch → hearing; there are few if any reported cases involving culture-based other ‘synesthesic’ experiences.

It is estimated that synesthesia may be as prevalent as 1 in 23 persons across its range of variants (Simner et al. 2006).

Synesthesia runs strongly in families, but the precise mode of inheritance has yet to be ascertained.

Synesthesia is also sometimes reported by individuals under the influence of psychedelic drugs, after a stroke, or as a consequence of blindness or deafness.

Synesthesia that arises from such non-genetic events is referred to as adventitious synesthesia to distinguish it from the more common congenital forms of synesthesia.

Psychological research has demonstrated that synesthetic experiences can have measurable behavioral consequences, while functional neuroimaging studies have identified differences in patterns of brain activation (for a review see Hubbard & Ramachandran 2005).

Many people with synesthesia use their experiences to aid in their creative process.

Psychologists and neuroscientists study synesthesia not only for its inherent interest, but also for the insights it may give into cognitive and perceptual processes that occur in everyone, synesthete and non-synesthete alike.

From Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia

I guess the most difficult thing for a synesthete – whatever form those intermingling senses take – is to understand first of all that people in general don’t see the world the way we see it...

Actually this is quite a breakthrough understanding this fact “I just see everything different... and I have no clue how come you don’t have a clue of what I talk about…”

…and finally how ‘normal’ people function well process this world life in general…and how come they don’t “see” the beauty of the world…the patterns…the connections…the synchronicities… the music...the rhythm...

In the end I think this world would be a dull place indeed if not for rare genetic quirks …or are they?!?

Hi Wave and Laura and All,

Yes Wave, same elements in different proportions makes for a different color yet still made from the same colors all blending together.

Red, blue and yellow are not created by mixing other colors to create their color. We can and do make mixes of the three together to make secondary colors and then we can make tertiary colors from there. LOL!! Lessons in color therapy ...

Wow Laura!! No I did not know this! How wonderfully synchronistic. Thank you for sharing this, I truly InJoyed it. And thanks for the great song!! I love John Mayer too.

Love you both,

Julia

Hello Everyone...

I would like to dedicate this post to our fellow Atheist. Everyone knows a Atheist friend or family member! The typical Atheist is Evolving like the rest of us. They have freed themselves from the slavery of Religion only to fall into the control of Science. Its a double trap that has been set up to slow them down. Sad but true.

Atheist are very smart people however this intellect can halt them. Most go no farther. Once the Atheist empties there minds they can become Agnostic. They are then without Knowledge. They are then waiting for a spark to ignite there Gnostic fire. With an empty cup they can learn the Truth.

# 31 Psychic Feeling Tones and The Talker
With some, the strong points will show as a: seeing, feeling, or hearing. Weak points can be a mix of all three giving a confusing situation. Here is where I run into a problem finding the words to describe how I know a psychic something is starting to taking place. How in the world can you describe “seeing a feeling”, or “hearing a seeing” and even more awkward “sensing a seeing - hearing and feeling” all at the same time!So in that I’m not an advanced psychic in that sense of the word, I simply call the admixture “feeling tones”. No flashing neon signs, no crystal clear voices like a radio, no television screen showing a specific scene. The closest I can get to describing it is : a tapestry like feeling, a multi-colored seeing of it, sensing of an out of place cloudiness in the tapestry. My focus will be on the cloudiness, as that segment is what appears out of tune, with the rest of what is being felt at that moment. Nothing at all like one watches on television. Once focus is in the cloudiness portion of the (tapestry), other feelings tones will come up that one still has to clarify

Hello Laura, Julia and All,
When I first read this, I made a mental note to get back to it. Reading your post helped me with clarifying what I had described as 'feeling tones' in my blog post. Never gave a thought to the situation as being anything meaningful. So 'Synesthesia' adds to my, as you called it 'genetic quirks'.  rolleyes  Back in January of 08, I tried to explain what I experience at certain times,  grin  now I know what to call it.  cool

Dear Louis,

Interesting song. Smiley I can think of 2 atheists right now that had a major impact in my life. However these 2 men are very evolved with a highly developed sense of self integrity, kindness, lack of prejudice and above all responsibility. One of them is my boss. I have never seen a person working harder for the good of others, in service to others, and all this without any thought of after death reward.
On the other hand I also knew atheists that had very low values - and not believing in God gave them the right to behave like they own everything. The communism was a perfect breeding ground for such characters.

However when I look at all - perspective I can see the perfection in this (belief system) - is like I am privileged to see the all facets of beliefs and possible outcomes. Smiley

Louis, so you know that we focus on things that we need to 'work out' within. I mean look at me and Leila we obviously have to sort the mortal love fulfilling factor, lol , however you...hmmm... I wonder what the 'atheist' in you needs to overcome. Hmm?

So anyway what's your opinion about this song? what does it tell you?

shocked  wow .. you 2?? ahhh I see now why we communicate same language.

Anyway when I learned about the fact that not all people have it - it helped me understand to not expect others to hear, see, feel, sense what I do. At the same time realise that others may see more or different than I do. Later on I come to learn that indeed we all experience different type of Matrix(es). So, it would be silly indeed to expect people to agree on views.
And..sigh.. again we come to that unconditional love..
