Linking Quantum Physics and The Law of Attraction.

I've read about quantum mechanics, and it seems pretty solid and legitimate, as far as it doesn't look like pseudo-science.

More personally I've experienced the Law of Attraction, and there are plenty of ways to reason that we manifest more negative by thinking negative, and manifest positive by thinking positive.

My only concern is that I don't see a well-proven or documented link between the two. The link itself is only implied: "Hey quanta reacts to expectations of scientists so we must be manifesting reality with our minds!"

What puts me on-guard further is that I'm deluged with mail and magazines talking about this phenomenon...then...trying to sell me crap. Well they won, they got their money, and I'm not saying it went to a bad cause. This all just seems frighteningly familiar to the radiation scams of (i think it was) the 19th century. After the discovery of radioactive materials, manufacturers put them in all sorts of rediculous products claiming they could "cure what ail's you." All it did was kill a bunch of people. Too bad we hadn't discovered the class-action suit yet. And on top of that nobody even turned into a super-hero like in the comics.

I've been searching for this physics based "law of attraction" and can't find it. Is it a psychology based law? (I thought "laws" were physics oriented). Not that I disagree with it or how it works, but would like some real world scientific backup. ...I always thought opposites attracted

If you find it stated in that form I would be surprised “quantum law of attraction”, there is so much New Age garbage surrounding this subject it makes me dizzy. Why are all of these “Law of Attraction” orientated on money? Power and wealth is the main focus. L. Ron Hubbard was a educator of “The Secret” and the doctrine of Dianetics and Scientology have caused a lot of damage in the world.

I have the DVD “The Secret” and was part of that forum for a short while and there were just too many things that put me on guard about it. So Keith if you want to know more look up Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard. You should quite easily see coloration between the secret and the laws of attraction to scientology. I guess I have a negative attitude on this issue but when you find that friends and family have fallen victim to the scams of this diadem memories of trying to get them to find reality again come burning into focus.

The last link is a streaming vidio of “The Secret”. Also you might try looking up people like Blaise Pascal, and Isaac Newton. I know this isn’t much help but I know the connection, as it is the basis of the magic I do. There is no way I know of by which I can tell you of this connection as the way I was taught was by experience and I know of no other way to teach it.

I have been on both sides of the fence, the experiences of the positive reality have been much more to my liking. The best thing I can tell you. Is try it. Really, really, try it. and the experiences you have from a like attracts like or law of attraction is like nite and day.

L. Ron Hubbard was most definitely not an educator on The Secret; not on the version I own at least

I agree about the risk of becoming self-centered etc.. The truth is there is a fine balance between having just those things we need to live a happy, healthy and abundant life while understanding and pursuing true higher principles and amassing material things out of greed or obessession.

At the same time we are here to learn by experience, and a part of that process is learning these important truths by experience.
