learning from trees

I was reading a  book "Shamanic Experience" that at one point suggested meditating with a tree, asking it to reveal itself to you.  There is a nature path not to far from where I live.  Back in a ways there is a pair of trees, one masculine and one feminine, that appear to be a couple embracing each other.  I started by explaining my intentions to the trees, felt sort of off doing so, that I am seeking awareness of self and my environment or general knowledge.  Anyway, I entered into silence, sat against them and just let go for a while.  At first nothing seemed to be happening aside from a good meditation, then everything took a green haze, I was happy with just this, feeling I had accomplished something.  Thats when I started to see more everything seemed to sparkle, even the dirt and bark of other trees.  Really cool stuff, Then I became aware of my skin, I didn't know how to describe it till recently when I saw "Twilight," it's some vampire movie that everyone seems to know about except me, point is there is a part that shows them in the sun and they look like their skin is made of tiny pieces of glass sparkling all over their body.  That is exactly how my skin appeared... cool.  I felt that I really took away alot, I am now very stounch in my veganism, since I feel like I am aware of plants as more than just alive, but aware.  I am falling short in understanding the whole skin thing though.  Any suggestions?  Good Health and Good Help to everyone.  Spanks.

When I read your post here, the first thought I had, was a post, I made back on 12-14-2007. Now I have no idea at this moment, on  why that popped into mind, but it was triggered by your comment of " tiny pieces of glass sparkling all over their body".
(Will wait and see if any more info comes in, before I say anything further, even if I do have some ideas to express )
So for the moment, go in and read the whole post if interested, and see if anything 'pops into your mind', as to what you had experienced.
It was your experience, so follow through with it.
Am aware of what you say regards the 'meditating with a tree', but never as profound as you state.
Sounds like a great beginning, to further 'Shamanic Experiences'.
Do call upon a Power Animal or bird to guide you, while in your meditative state.

This is interesting. I have read books about meditating upon plants and seeing their auros...by sending them love energy. I have never stayed focused enough to reach that state though. Bravo. Sounds like a new plateau on the horizon.

Once back when I was 18, and into the christian religion I prayed in "tongues" for about an hour, got into what I now call a deeply meditative state, and had the experience of seeing my skin as glass, but it was more like the fuzzy stuff on a TV that's off channel in my body form.

This form which was "me" floated up above my brothers bed and I distinctly remember floating past his digital alarm clock...and I actually started floating toward the bedroom window. My body was locked into the position of praying, in this "fuzzy" form and I couldn't move, so I freaked out when I got too near the window and somehow brought myself out of it.

During that same session a girls face was revealed to me and I was instructed to take her an inspiring book. I did, and found out that suddenly her life had changed, and she would be leaving her good foster home that very day, and going back into a home where she was regularly abused... this book would help her get through that tough time.

It was pretty amazing.

Thanks for the comments guys.  I read the post you suggested, and another book I read came to mind. "A Book About You," by Charles Hanaal.  There is a point that says we are comprised of atoms that are all organized and efficient to create sentience, intelligence, not just the brain, so maybe the "crystals" were somehow revealing the solidarity of intelligence of the entire body as a unit?  Maybe this was gift imparted by the trees.  Tradition always points to unfolding of answers in time, like drops of water on a string, they come at different points on the string and eventually its full and the answer can be revealed.  Again, I appreciate this site and the assistance of yous, and everyone... very exciting.

One can ask anything for its life story for nothing is not alive. All things are Human friendly, and willing to share, as it were. Feeling is the divine language all living things speak and communicate by. We use different interpretation methods, some are deaf.
Ancient Yoga texts talk of the relationship between cells, atoms, and our conscious  mind, and the willingness of all life within us to be lead by the Mind, as God is described to lead and guide us.Each cell is the Human body in miniature,complete with a membrane ( mem-brain ) each stone alive, each planet receptive to the reaching mind, each animal open to the Human heart.

But we Humans are a stubborn lot, we must have our ceremonies and traditions to convince ourselves of our beliefs. Druid companionship to trees was just such a relationship, just such a reality, as Atlantian relationship to crystals. It is a relationship, a co-operation of minds.

My apologies Mr. Zensunni7 I guess I'm not sure I understand your reply.  I can't speak for other religions, but the Native Ceremonies we take part in are really only for those who are believers, it is thought that lack of faith could have problematic consequences.  We are generally focusing or channeling our energy for the enhancement of life of our, well all communities.  I do agree that it did take alot of talking into to get myself to have the faith I have today, it seems that for along time I actually had to work pretty hard not to believe.  Strange. 
And back to the skin thing, if the elders have answers, they are not making them available.   Many times they like for the younger ones, like me, to go out and get our own answers, and bounce them off of them after, and kind of unfold it together.  It seems odd to me that more medicine men aren't vegan.  They  often associate much of the old recipies as "medicine."  I would also like to add that most of the pieces appeared white cyrstal, but there was very random fleks of rainbow type colors.  Much like the other birthstone color of scorpio, not the topaz but the other one, not sure what the name of it is.  Many Thanks again, Good Health and Good Help to all.

We are visible Energy in form of an Invisible Energy without form. We are metaphorical similes of Source Energy.

Time, physical form has points of entry and endings useful in this physical reality. Once we pass through the 'seeing' only forms into Spirit, time and physical forms are mere illusions.

It seems to take time for answers to unfold due to our understanding being focused on or blocked by the physical realities. Analytical minds. Once we move past this as it sounds like you are seeing the particles moving in a fascinatingly wonderful way, it opens your True Eye to see beyond the physical world into what lies beyond it. You are being shown to detach from the physical reality and to step into the Higher Realms. And then you can return into the physical reality with this knowing (Higher Awareness) and will not view things (physical forms and physical reality) the way you do even in this moment. It is called moving between the dimensions or two worlds in this case. The reason why plants and animals and very young children are 'use' to these things is that they do not have an analytical mind yet. Their minds are completely Heart leading sensored. Intuits. Not problem leading solvers. Intellects or Thinkers. They do by Being not by thinking what Being means. Intuit comes naturally for them because they are intuned with their Innate Nature. Their Authentic Real nature.

You must be like a child to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Doesn't matter 'who' said it, this is Divine in its delivered message and supecedes all time. This message moves beyond the physical barriers we have all been part and parcel to and applies to all.

Again, your views of this world will change my friend and Radically so. You have obviously accepted your Invitation to develop your Eye.

Just sharing what was rising in the reading of these thoughts. The birthstones for Scorpio vary. While all are agreed on Topaz, Garnet is one as is beryl, obsidian, apache tear and citrine and this does not include the planetary and talismanic stones for this sign.

Thank you for your post and information Mrs. J (sorry I can't see the name here to respell it).  Your message has had a very real impact.  I have always been different, and people have always treated me different.  There are rumors, whishpers, I know I have abilities.  I know worth is not a divine concept, but I have to admit that I worry that I may fall short somehow, like maybe I'm building  much of this up in my head or something.  The medicine man in group always says we are all spiritually perfect, that no man is above another, then later I get told I'm different, that I have "things" to do, but tradition is usually a need to know basis, and If I dont know yet its because I don't need to know yet.  I WANT to know were I'm going.  The world at times takes on the consistency of plastic, emotions pour out, and sometimes it doesn't feel like they are mine.  Some times I flake out and act a little goofy and it lasts for a couple days.  I have heard chosen under peoples breath, but for what.  I don't know, but I guess I do, sorry having a tough morning.  Good Health and Help to all.

I appreciate your response here truly. I would like to InCourage you in the awareness of being treated 'differently' as I really do understand and have shared from my own unique life experiences as in being the 'Wild Zygote'. Not trying to be different at all, just being myself and yet was branded or labeled as 'different'. What once seemed like a curse has now been turned around and seen as a blessing. You are blessed. Because you remain True to yourself and do not conform as I did not.

What I was shown was to not allow this to go to my head, just keep it tucked within my heart (stay Connected to my Real Source of my heart beat) for out of the heart comes the Real food of Life flow. So we follow our Divinely given path here and leave the results to the ONE we are intuned with. The ONE we vibrate in harmonic Energy with (in this world's way of identifying different levels). This is what we agreed to before stepping into this reality.

So, when we follow this Higher Awareness of a Higher Vibration, all are invited to do the same however we have always been Authentic GOD Beings and have freewill. Some just don't realize this yet which is why it is about awakening and not 'saving'.

We are not given to know the exact path because GOD or The GREAT SPIRIT dwells in the UnKnown and UnSeen Realms.

In a 'solid' physical reality, we have limitations, time, as in deadlines, interesting word really. And we are taught that we must have a plan or go awry. Well yes there is a plan, a Divine ONE and this is what we hear and are compelled to follow. It's a 'did you hear that?!?!' moment while everyone is looking at you and you see this little something in their eyes (fear) that you are not like the rest of them, different as in 'off'. I have learned to laugh and agree.

The only reason you are different and stand out or away from the crowds is because you are willing to do this and they are not ready yet. Which is where compassion comes in.

Just sharing to uplift you today, that all you came here to do will never be left undone, if you remain open to your leading, you are being provided with everything to accomplish your purpose here. We just get in our own way when we concern ourselves with the how's and this is what this time of being frustrated is for. To 'teach' you, unlearn you to LET GO and LET GOD and Trust that you are being Divinely Guided. And know without a doubt what this means. Allow the GREAT SPIRIT to walk in this world through your bodily vehicle and in this way, you become the Voice for GOD calling ONEs sleeping children to arise and walk.

I trust your day will be blessed and allow these moments of not so greats as they contrast the moments of experiencing GOD Presence and leave no doubt in your mind when sensing and knowing without a doubt that you have been indeed in the Presence of GOD. No doubt. All is well my friend, you are truly on your path.
