Hello there.

Can I use the law of attraction to gain knowledge of what do I really want?
Which are the best ways of knowing what I really want from life?

I know the law of attraction works now and I have no doubt about it. I've experienced it time and time again these last months. But now I'm in a state where I do not know what I do expect from life.

It's easy to attract. But knowing what we want seems more difficult.

Can someone give me advice?

Welcome to the forum.

Knowing what we want is absolutely fundamental and a prerequisite to making use of The Law of Attraction as you rightly say.

There is no absolute "method" of identifying what you really wish for out of life. Usually such things are self apparent because you would long for them.

If you do not know what you wish for it might mean that you do not wish for alot of material possessions which is a good thing. We are not hear to hoard material possessions, we are here to learn through experience and hopefully enjoy ourselves in the process.

My advice is to not worry about it too much. When you realise you wish for something in your life, and are passionate about getting it, then you will know beyond any doubt.

Another way of discovering what you really wish for is through meditation, and also by asking the question just before sleep when your Subconscious Mind will make it known to you in some way that you should be prepared for.

In the meantime live for the present moment of Now.

Kind regards,

Adrian.

I never really tried to manifest material things but rather experiences, events, circumstances. Because I know material things can never really be possessed by anyone. But experiences always belong to the one who lived them

So you suggest meditation? I'll give it a try. But do you think that there is a "purpose" for each individual here and he has to accomplish this mission or he'll never be happy ? and the only thing one has to do is to  know the goal of his life and to accomplish it.

I don't know if you have read the book "The Alchemist" from Paulo Coelho. If yes you would know what I am talking about. Do you think there is a mission for each one of us here or are we just here for no reason so let's be happy and do things that make us happy?

We are definitely all here for a reason without question.  When a Higher Self "sends" another incarnation to Earth, it is in order to gain a certain "package" of experience that our Higher Self needs to be more complete and perfect.

In addition, there are people incarnated for a wider reason relating to humanity.

That said, we should enjoy be happiness, health and abundance at the same time, and that means using our inner "powers" to manifest whatever we wish for need and desire, providing it is not selfish and helps others at the same time.

Kind regards,

Adrian.

And do you think what we love to do is related in some way to our real mission?

(Yes I have so many questions :p)

Hello Lyes,

And do you think what we love to do is related in some way to our real mission?

(Yes I have so many questions :p)

Absolutely yes!

One of the best phrases to illustrate this and to live by is "follow your passions".

It is simple to know whether we are on the right or wrong track by our emotions. Our emotions are a barometer of how closely we are following our path.  If we feel high emotions of for example joy, Love, service to others, then we are doing the right things and should continue to do so. If on the other hand you are doing anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, sad, depressed etc, then you are not following your path and suffering will result.

If it does not make you feel joyful, don't do it plain and simple. Those who follow their passions will always be rewarded with abundance, health and fulfilment, especially if it involves service to others.

Many people are stuck in what I refer to as The Human Paradox, largely based around religion, the monetary system and society including the educational system - I have a chapter of that name in my book - and these people will almost always suffer and not be or feel fulfilled.

Kind regards,

Adrian.

I totally agree with this for having experienced it myself.

My passion is music and it's such a pleasure for me to play, compose, record, let others listen to my music. People always tell me that I'm a great artist and that I should do something with it.

I don't know if I should listen to them. I prefer to remain prudent while continuing to follow my passion, but without making it my life's center. I think I may regret it. I think that if I make music my business it will no longer be a passion. I prefer to study, work, and get money with Electronics, (which is also another passion anyways), so that my music will be totally free, and will remain my passion. I mean I love it too much to make it business.

Anyways, I know these are my choices and my decisions to make so you can't really help me here

So thank you very much for all the replies Smiley

Of course it is your decision to make but if you have a passion for music you should at least consider following that passion. In fact music in and of itself is a very high vibration passion that can change peoples lives.

I understand your concerns, but there is no need to think of it as a business - just keep thinking of it as a passion, show the world what you can do and can offer, and let the Universe do the rest.

We all arrive here with something to offer the world, and it is for us to fulfil that.

Kind regards,

Adrian.

Is your band "Infinity"?

The music on that site is excellent anyway - I can feel the Energy that went in to those pieces.

The quickest route to get recognised is YouTube. I have followed several musicians to making it really big in less than a year.

For example this young French guitarist:

http://www.youtube.com/user/mattrach

He is one of the best guitarists I have ever heard.

After a year of posting his videos, he now has a manager, getting live gigs etc.

My eldest son, age 17 is in a band as the drummer, although he also plays guitar. They do mostly 70's and 80's covers as well as classics.

The late 60's, 70's and early 80's stand out for me as the era of real music Smiley

In Love and Light,

Adrian.

Yes Infinity is the band I'd like to create

Thank you very much for the compliment Smiley and also for the youtube advice, I know youtube for a while but never had this idea

That Mattrach's really good! Not only in guitar but also in bass and drums. He can make all of his music on his own and I wish I could do this as well. Personally I use softwares for the drums, the bass, and in fact every instrument that is not my guitar or my voice.
No wonder he has talent and the ability to get live gigs. He reached what I love to call the "higher level" in music and when you get there recognition is much easier.

Oh and what does your son's band exactly play I'm curious about that ??

I personnally think we ARE in the era of real music (in fact, I was born in 1987 so I can't tell about 70's :p)

Hello Lyes,

Oh and what does your son's band exactly play I'm curious about that ??

Well one of the songs they are recognised for is "Born to be Wild" by Steppenwolf.
They also do "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones, "All right now" by Free, "Take it easy" by the Eagles, Whole lotta Rosie" by AC/DC, When I come around" by Green Day, "Fortune Faded" by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers - and many more of that sort of genre.

I guess it depends on your perspective, the era when you were born and taste in music Smiley

In the 70's music was actually played by the artists and they could play it live as well as in the studio. These days songs that seem to make it in to the charts are often created in a fully computerised studio and the "singers" cannot sing. Many of these songs are basicilly just noise Smiley  That isn't to say there are not plenty of really talented groups out there - especially guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen.

To me the 70's and just before and just after were legendary, and many of the songs from that era are still played today.

Actually - much of what my son's band plays is from that era.

Besides - there is something nostalgic of going to town to buy the "latest single" on those small vinyl disks Smiley

In Love and Light,

Adrian.

Yngwie malmsteem is one of the best guitarist in the world with Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, and Michael Romeo.

Hello Lyes,

Exactly Smiley When I was a child we had no TV's in the bedroom - or sometimes TV's at all for that matter - games consoles, PC's, broadband or any Internet - nothing.  During those long dark, cold nights of winter I would contemplate the meaning of Life.

In the summer I would be out in the countryside almost all the time, down by the river watching the fish, dragon flies etc. What do children do today?

These days people are too busy with all these trappings of "modern society" - one reason why people are moving ever further from God.

Yes definitely. I do enjoy watching these great guitar players. Mattrach will be there among them soon I am sure.  I also admired Brian May of Queen which is one of my favourite groups.  Brian makes all his own guitars and is a highly qualified Astrophysicist - he may have a doctorate now.

But for every well known guitarist there are many that are unknown - like this one for example:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGr9K-4SONA

Here in the Isle of Man, which is renowned for music, we have some awesome guitar players - better than you will see in any well known band. One of the best is the father of the bass guitar player in my sons band who owns the only music shop.

There is a lesson to be learned here - the power of the Subconscious Mind. There is no way these guitar players could possibly play as they do if they consciously thought about where their fingers should be.  Their Subconscious Mind knows every possible note and every possible combination of notes and simply causes the fingers to dance over the frets effortlessly and flawlessly. Same goes for a virtuouso pianist or for any other instrument.

A touch typist never looks at the keyboard, they just think or hear the words and the Subconsious Mind works the fingers.

In Love and Light,

Adrian.
