Hi Wave and All ~

Aye. I am a habitual daydream myself. It is difficult for me to pay attention to things for too long that don't capture it. However, as lax as my mind may be, I do believe that I can achieve enlightenment in this very lifetime if I put the mind to it.
Meditation is a process. It is about learning to be mindful of the moment and to always be presently aware. It's not controlling your thoughts or drowning them out. Rather, it is about observing them and then letting them go; do not follow them and carry out endless scenerios. Just be still and let go.
Hope that helps.
yes It does.
Julia and Laura my Brother in Law was very drunk and told me that I am the most open minded person he knows. I am the only one he can come to for advice. He called me "very wise". He also said that he learned so much about Spirituality and I didn't even realized that I taught him that much. Lets just say I have much more to teach him then I already had. Its not like I talk to him a lot. He however told me that he is very glad I am in his life or he wouldn't be open minded about other Religions! It makes me feel like I DO make a difference in peoples lives!
I learn from all of you and of course Adrian, with love enjoy this day and remember to think about what you are thankful for!I honestly have found that ones who are imbibed can indeed have some deeply Spiritually aware moments. They are after all Spirit just inwined (pardon the bad joke). I have met homeless people who came up to me and I looked them in the eye as I listened to them. I really saw God in them and they were in a sense 'angels' unawares. The Presence of the experience is what had the most profound affect in me. I will say that when I've had these experiences, they've always Blessed me as we went on our ways. Truth.
Truth can be spoken in any way by anyone or anything, there is actually a Bible story of a donkey speaking Wisdom to a man. Which is why Being Open Minded is essential. Leave the Mind Open.
Thank you for sharing this Louis. Namaste.
InJoy this day of Thanksgiving. The Ancient Elders believed in ceremony and ritual as a symbol of what we were to apply on a daily basis. Gratitude for all that we have received. It leads to more Gratitude for more blessings and that is just Life ITSELF.
Love to you Louis and All ~
Many Blessings, Be Well,
Julia
The interesting thing about 'teaching' or demonstration is that he in turn is demonstrating to you as well. You are seeing what you are reflecting in him in yourself. Your growing awareness of who you really are.
