Isn't removing a sickness from your consciousness sort of a paradox...?

for you to not think about something, you have to somewhat recognize what you are not thinking about....then a symptom comes back to

remind you that it's still there... I had a sore throat, (ironically like what I read Adrian had) then thought to myself "I'm a divine being, colds can't stop that"

so after a while of doing stuff i forgot i even had a cold, until a little symptom came back, then I thought, wow...go away lol. Then I realized I was

actually just waiting to see if the symptoms of "what shouldn't exist" to come again. What should I do/practice to improve on this? Catching colds shouldn't

be, but I'll catch a symptom and think, why the heck do I even have this symptom if it doesn't exist.  I know that for me to think cold weather + no clothes

= flu means I'll surely catch one, but "I" know this shouldn't matter and simply don't know what to do about it.

Hi Logic

I can now see why your post looks a little disjointed. .. cos u edited it, and there are 'edit' problems wit this forum at the moment.

anyhow welcome! smiley

Now, yes i agree with you about the paradox. cool
I think the sickness wants to be acknowledged. and then once u say, "hi sickness, i know u r here for a reason, but i dont need u anymore" then it will leave. I read that u should say " thanks for telling me something that I need to know" then it will go away. ... and then u can not even think of it in your conciousness anymore.
I think that was from a Louise Hay book.

good luck

o well, my immune system needs a challenge once in a while right? lol  afro

and as for the post being "disjointed" I actually space what I type on purpose for reading easiness.
