Holy Guardian Angel, Angels and Spirit Guides.

Peace and Love To All,

One would tend to believe that once passing the fourscore mark in time experienced on earth, would slow down the new experiences lived. Not so though. Did a blog post on a recent event, that I'm still sorting through. It is about, of all things Angels.

As a child, do recall being taught this one Angel prayer:

"Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here. Ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. AMEN."

For what ever reason that prayer fell by the wayside. Many years later, did discover and use Angels names in a variant of the "Middle Pillar" Tree of Life ritual. Mostly though, used the simple Chakra version, minus the Angels names. Never actually gave much further thought, to Angels beyond that point. Yes, was aware of a distinction rank from various readings, but to me an angel was an angel period. Had to change the way I perceived Angels though as I read through chapters 48 through 52 in OUR. In getting more detail from the "Our Ultimate Reality" book, on Angels, and their three basic classifications so to speak, apparently stirred up some dormant thought areas, that reopened forgotten pathways. Won't go into the Angels, Holy Guardian Angel and Spirit Guides details here, (read the book) but the reading of it did get my full attention and corrective action in motion.

So I did the post on that new experience. The post is a bit long for posting here, so have a link to it below.  Was curious though why the Angel bit fell by the wayside, and did some deep within digging. Will spare you the cruder aspects of the inner digging, but what it all boiled down too, was that as an adult, I felt that I was to 'sophisticated" to be believing and thinking Angels. Wow, had a hard time acknowledging that revelation. Did correct that way of thinking and in the process, as mentioned above, must have set the scenario for what actually did take place.

Talker you seem to be addressing my thoughts at the moment. I have indeed been thinking about this topic but I really don't know where to start. I know healers who say they work with angels and recently when I attended an energy session a healer told me that he calls on a particular angel to help him. As he appears genuinely helpful and kind I am sure he has the best intentions. However, an evangelist lectured me once that only God helps us and it is somehow in contradiction of the bible to do anything other than pray to God. I'm afraid that despite having received religious brainwashing in my early years I have little knowledge of the bible and cannot comment on this.

Have downloaded the ebook link on your blog and hope to read the book shortly. Am very sorry to hear about your son's passing and I am sure that is not easy to rationalise or come to terms with. However, it is wonderful that this experience has helped you and I would really like to read future posts and further insights on this subject.

Talker you seem to be addressing my thoughts at the moment.

[Talker]  Its the tonal quality of the Oneness of and on this forum at play or perhaps should say "in effect".

I have indeed been thinking about this topic but I really don't know where to start.

[Talker] I generally advise others to start from where one is at, with whatever you have yearning for expression, and sort it out later, if at all. That way the thought focus will yield either more defined questions, or little jewels that are just yearning for expression.

I know healers who say they work with angels and recently when I attended an energy session a healer told me that he calls on a particular angel to help him. As he appears genuinely helpful and kind I am sure he has the best intentions.

[Talker] Much rests on the listeners perception. If harmonious with ones feelings, all is well,  and perhaps safe to accept those healing energies. The calling upon an Angel for an assist, is a means of tuning in with and for the best healing energies, one is "able and willing" to receive, from the Source.

[Talker] Yes, it is only God helping, but we are all One, so intrinsically we are helping ourselves. ( strange as that may seem)  Isn't this what we are talking about on this forum. God is not apart from us, and all healing (here is the hard to comprehend part) is the "willingness" of the recipient to realize, accept and release the  already indwelling and perfect God force. We are perfect at the Higher Self level, but ones Soul may want or need a particular experience, and refuse to accept a healing, regardless of whom is doing the prompting. Cloudy as my thoughts may be, do believe I'm headed in the right direction, one has to start some where, in sorting it all out. All in all the process is difficult to comprehend, but doable, and that is where I'm at, with it all.

Perhaps Adrian or another with a greater understanding of what I've stated will help clarify the process mentioned, if my view/words are in need of it.

Thank you Talker for your reply. Hope I'm not being obtuse but where exactly do angels come into the plan of things? I accept we are all one etc. but why then should we petition angels to help us? I believe certain healing techniques connect us to divine healing - at some level. How can angels assist and why is this better? Being totally uniformed on this perhaps I need to read up a bit. Unfortunately, my pc didn't like the download. Have downloaded loads of ebooks before but pc just didn't like this one.

Correct or incorrect those are my thoughts on the matter. Also my use of the word "reunion" is perhaps incorrect, but will use that word.

Hope I'm not being obtuse but where exactly do angels come into the plan of things?

Angels so to speak have a greater grasp of the whole spiritual reality of things. Not all the answers, but much further along the path,toward the Ultimate reunion that this existence is all about. They help us in their way, which shoves them further up the path, which in turn helps them.

I accept we are all one etc. but why then should we petition angels to help us? I believe certain healing techniques connect us to divine healing - at some level. How can angels assist and why is this better?

The Angel gets a side benefit from helping us, which is moving toward the more positive spectrum of the Ultimate reunion with The Source, God. It is the pure desire to help/assist us, that the Angels work from, not the side benefit they gain.

Any situation can have various truths involved, It all depends on ones vantage point.
OK, if you read that post, those helpers on the other side, can from their perspective, and where they are, can better understand and see
what would assist you, in what is being petitioned for. So, gentle whispers, hints, clues and whatever it takes, are in one way or another popped into your awareness, and you make the final decision to use that help or not. Of course if there is no belief factor in Angels or
helpers from another realm, your on your own in what takes place.
Now for those that might say, that many people with no God or Angel beliefs, do quite well in health and wealth matters, the intensity, intent and belief factors of those people ARE there, and that is what counts for success in those matters. Of course, though there may be physical riches with those people, there may be "no" Soul advancement.
 The Law of Attraction makes no distinction between those that can be called saint or sinner. Good, not good, or plain rotten, if the rules are correctly applied, it works, for everyone. Seems unfair, but that is how I see it in action. If one is on the path to Spiritual enrichment, the Angels perhaps, can assist one in overcoming beliefs from ones religious upbringing that it is" better to be poor and go to heaven, than it is to be rich and go to hell."  The bottom line is, no one is forced into doing anything, only to make a choice of accept or reject the assist.
So correct or incorrect those are my thoughts.

It has taken me years to realise that I receive these things. And am only just beginning to act on them. I wonder how I could have been blind (or deaf) to them for so long. When I have taken care of my reading backlog - all related to my long-denied passion - I will take a closer "look" at angels.
