Higher Self

 Hi dear everyOne

I know we are all One. I think I know that we have a higher self that has lots of little us's, so to speak. All part of each higher self...  and we are all Source expressing diversity and experience and stuff like that.

Does our , our could our Higher Self have a gender, in itself?
Does this question make sense?

Any and all answers appreciated

yes, I think our energy signature is either male or female, but not quite in the way that we experience it as human beings.  there is something about each of us that makes us unique and "gender" is one of those things.  I have seen what I believe to be a representation of my higher self and it is definitely a she.  However our incarnations switch gender, probably influenced by what we want to achieve with each incarnation.

I also had a remarkable dream experience where I got to see (in a manner of speaking) myHigher Self and it was definetelly of feminine gender. (She) was in the middle of planning a course of events (again this in a nother manner of speaking) with another Higher Self who was of masculine gender. The love between them was.... indescribable. My Higher Self love towards me was ...I am having a hard time describing this again, just that every time I recall it it fills me with a glow of reassurance, security, happiness. We are so important to our Higher Selves, you have no idea!!! What we feel for our children, best friends, beloved family doesn't even come closer to the love cocoon my HigherSelf has for me.
Everything at that level is much beyond anything we are accustomed here. Is the world of Hyperdimensional feelings/states.  Everything they (Higher Selves) are is something beyond our (human)understanding or sphere of perception (if you wonder about how they look etc...) The best description I can come up with is that of towering mountains - where a humbling glimpse of their majestic peak cannot possibly tell you how great they are.
Freedom it was an experience I don't talk about, it was that humbling private and intimate, just that you've asked.  What happened, happened in a greater context. Just I wanted you to know and be reassured that there is something greater and that we are not really supposed to be in control over it. The flow is Divine, and the sooner we let ourselves go with it the more significant our passage here in this physical life becomes.

If I learn Tao, I will maybe realise that I am trying too hard, and really have to "get it" that I must go in the flow an realise everything is flowing perfectly.

I would relax if I was you. See I used to think the same, and be in awe at what I perceived as others spiritual advancement, then one day I realised we are all the same more or less. If I may be advanced at some things then you would be more advanced at others and so on. In some strange way life has a way of balancing the goods bestowed. This again is one of the logistics behind Higher Self having multiple individualities which presumably can't know about others. So, at any point in our lives we are exactly were we are supposed to be. And!! there's always more coming...

Freedom never ever never compare yourself to others, is a double edged pitfall. What you need to compare with or rather live up to is your own internal barometer. You know inside when is enough, where you need to go, how far you need to go and so on. If Tao sings to you right now by all means dwell in it. It will help for sure getting where you feel you need to get. Whenever you read something or hear something and that sounds true to you and it makes you feel good and insightful it means you are on right-for-you path.

My Higher Self didn't 'speak' to me as in wanting to connect with me etc. It just happened that "I woke up" inside the dreaming state, and waking up I could see what's going on. I was not supposed to and the Higher selves were taken aback. Mine send me this love wave then woke me up - which felt more like; it disconnected me.

I've thought a lot about my spiritual gender.  I've been told by many that I have a strong feminine or fully developed feminine polarity.  Perhaps we have to live as each gender until both are 'fully developed?'

When ever I get tidbits of a past life I've always been a male, I've never had one of me being a female.  However if a soul does have a gender, I wouldn't be surprised if mine wasn't female.

What's that word when we are both at once? Like a seahorse is , I am wondering if our higher self is both at once. I think that must be it.

Could it be hermaphridite?  ( Is that a mix of Hermes + Aphrodite)?  I was also thinking of the word Ambidextrous but that means using left and right hand both equally... hmmm, that might tie in.

Love all your answers.. I was thinking mine could have been male, because i did think i heard a male voice but cannot be sure.

I can relate to what your saying.  I my previous post I did mention that my higher self is female, like I am now, but I definitely have a very strong, sometimes overpowering energy.  I am also very direct, to the point, no nonsense, not into soppy stuff woman.  Never been a girly-girl and never will be.  From that description I know I must sound very male.  Yet I know myself to be female.  I think we might have gifts that are not exactly in line with our gender.  I can be a very direct, driven powerfull woman, and you can be nurturing, caring, emotional man.  I think being human makes us believe that one gender goes only with certain traits and another gender with others.

Talkers journey into 'thoughts'.
Ah yes, the Gender Principle, with the oft misinterpretation and confusion.

Masculine signs:
Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius
(Positive, outward expression, the talker, goes out and does)
(Note:'the talker' referenced here is not this writer)


Feminine signs:
Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces
(Negative, receptivity, the listener, waits for it to be done)

(Note: The gender and qualities listed have nothing in common with the actual sex of the person, and that polarity is involved)

So what actually do those traits indicate, that one is a guy or a gal! Sorry, that's not what it's all about. When born, one has certain organs that are recognized as the determining gender of that person. Male or female. Personally, I tend to believe that a soul, is experiencing at least (12) twelve, simultaneous physical life manifestations.
(Note: The Zodiac is actually 13 signs, which I will bypass for this write.)
Difficult, is the expressing of 'awareness as Spirit', while 'home, within source, before any birthing process takes place. Not aware of all the 'questions', so am unable to even start giving 'answers'. But I can present my viewpoint on 'How' it might be.This will be a wild set of personal viewpoints though. Source is still experiencing. So Source sends out extensions of Source as 'Source-SelfSouls'. Source is fully cognizant of all the potential, possible, probabilities, but desires to 'physically' experience it.
So here we are, experiencing.
While in spirit, we choose the actual 'what and how' of each of the twelve (thirteen) incarnations. We did the deciding, to set the 'learning curve' involved, into action, to get a full range of experiences. In SourceSpirit, one is gender neutral, well balanced polarity, but upon becoming 'Source-SelfSouls' extensions, is I believe, when we may take on gender specific traits, until we return, fully to 'Home'.

The magnitude of experiences, is unlimited potential, possible, probabilities.

Expressing 'potential, possible, probabilities', that involve 'Masculine and Feminine' signs, 'Polarity', plus the myriad of 'associated traits', is awesome, in scope.

So, as I see it, what one is feeling / experiencing at this moment in time, is by our choice to experience it. However horrific, beautiful, dull, or exciting as it may be, in the experiencing, one needs to consider that 'We' ourself,  may have actually written the script for the current drama involved in our life.

To what degree any of my thoughts are 'actual' reality is my 'question' still being looked at and being pondered, but is still in the range of my 'normal insanity' thinking.

I have just read all your posts and you are fantastic!!!
I really hope you stay around cos you certainly belong in this family of LOVE !

I think it was Wavepschic  (Louis), I am pretty sure it was him, who said I come across as a guy in my posts, but Leila could definately sense I was female.

I think, perhaps, now I have finally found the word I was searching for... that our Higher Selves are Androgynous  , lol, I had to go to the dictionary to spell that word.


Which makes sense of how humans will not always stay in a box labelled male or female. They like to skip around and play, how groovy is that !

that was a beautiful, informative post. I kind of think it should go in the ones where we are talking about Astrology, even tho it was gender related.
