Has anyone heard of Amma ?

 Hi all

I have just read a really strange article about a woman called Amma ( which means mother), and she says she is a reincarnation of Kali.

From reading this article , she sounds really scary and dangerous.

I have never heard of this woman before. 
Has anyone else?

Nope, never heard of this before, but hrmm....

Well, it sounds very cult like and idolization I'll give you that, lol.

All I guess I can say is that she isn't the first and probably wont be the last to do something similar.  In a struggle to awaken as many minds as we can, sometimes one can't help but feel a little helpless because there are always going to be people who just don't quite 'get it.'

It doesn't necessarily say that she does wrong, other than controlling other people's lives (which I am totally against), so I suppose she isn't that awful, and who knows, maybe she's even brain washed?

Yes, I have heard of her. For myself, it gives deeper meaning to 'by their fruits you will know them.' As in anyone who uses 'freedom' as a form of control is well talking with a split tongue. No one is inferior or superior to another otherwise one is creating a hierarchy.

Again, one has to define what freedom means to oneself. For myself, it is allowing one to be oneself and live from their own beliefs if this is what gives one peace and freedom.

I just don't see where we were ever meant to put ourself under the jurisdiction of another and this includes 'God'. Otherwise we have a God of hierarchy. Someone to answer to and not so much relate with. Just my thoughts...

I totally agree with you Julia. There should never be a heirarchy. . . 
  Did u hear of her before I posted this? I have never heard of her before. Awful to think of what her followers believe.. without believing in their own selves..

(I called myself "Freedom", cos that is what I desire for all of us humans. So, that is my name on here. )

Am I the first to notice that you have lost your personal touch, in your last few posts? .... in the last few days or whatever?
You were so friendly and nice, now u seem formal. It is not like talking to 'you' anymore...

It's kind of like, you are sad or something.

I hope you cheer up, cos you were really friendly and nice , and now you seem sad and un-communicative, sort of.
