Hi Louis, Pardon your sister's ribbing you. You are a nut! Here is a link on how to cut open a coconut. I had a coconut tree in my front yard in Hawaii. Common sense says, never stand under a coconut tree!! lol! Much love to you Louis, Julia http://www.mahalo.com/How_to_Open_a_Coconut

Hi Louis, You're very welcome. I am with you brother! Too much work!! You should have seen the guys and gals that went around trimming the coconut trees! Their arms were almost the size of both of my thighs put together! And I'd like to know who first said, pain is a great teacher! Sending Love and Healing to your hand, Julia

Sending Love and Healing to your hand, Julia Bunch of nuts giving coconuts a hard time. Seriously now, Virgin Coconut Oil also gained a bad rap through misinformation. Won't go into the subject much here, yet I do believe much can be gained by using VCO. While doing 'my thing' into fats and oils research was amazed at all the benefits of using it. Do I use VCO, yes, I drive the family coconuts, I mean nuts, with how I use it. Be Well

Hello Talker & Julia,
I just want to add my two cents in as a nutritionist.. Well I call myself that
It is good to use ANY vegetable oils as long as they are raw. Examples... Raw virgin coconut oil, raw extra virgin olive oil, Raw flax seed oil and the list goes on. The fats in them are good for the brain & helps the body produce HDL Cholesterol.
I also highly agree with putting raw vegetable oils on the skin. Those chemical creams are little more then poisons. Use raw oils instead if you want your skin to look young... Remember they contain Anti-oxidants!
Peace and Love
Louis

Hi Dear Louis, Thank you for adding your nutritional thoughts here! These oils are great applied on ones skin especially after bathing. Leave a little moisture on your skin by patting yourself dry not rubbing. Speaking of skin, a friend was feeling nauseous the other day, and what is good for abating this is rubbing peppermint oil or tincture on your feet. Try it when the occasion arises. This mini thread might be getting get moved into the Raw Vegans thread ... Love to you Brother, Julia

Dear Julia
You sure do have a lot of homeopathic remedies! I don't get nauseous. I like Adrian just doesn't believe in it anymore. I think mind of matter or the focus on continual good health is more important then any kind of treatment. However the main reason why I think I am always healthy is because I am a Vegan now. My immune system is very strong and so is my life force system!
Love to you Julia, your healthy brother

Yes, I agree with you. However, there are those who still rely on something and I would much prefer plant sources for healing than the meds prescribed by Big Pharm. I understand though that there are those who use pharmaceuticals until they find an alternative without the side effects (gaining knowledge) and then from there we can only serve by sharing our knowledge with one another that leads one to know for themself their perfect state of well-being. I am a tree hugging plant lover and my little friends are so healing in their loving energy and I delight in sharing this amazing energy with others. I like playing with them!! lol! I am blessed with an excellent immune system as well and I am happy to share in this with you. Keep on rolling Wave ~ Much Love to you, Julia

Time
~ a poem by Kahlil Gibran
And an astronomer said, "Master, what of Time?" And he answered: You would measure time the measureless and the immeasurable. You would adjust your conduct and even direct the course of your spirit according to hours and seasons. Of time you would make a stream upon whose bank you would sit and watch its flowing. Yet the timeless in you is aware of life's timelessness, And knows that yesterday is but today's memory and tomorrow is today's dream. And that that which sings and contemplates in you is still dwelling within the bounds of that first moment which scattered the stars into space. Who among you does not feel that his power to love is boundless? And yet who does not feel that very love, though boundless, encompassed within the center of his being, and moving not from love thought to love thought, nor from love deeds to other love deeds? And is not time even as love is, undivided and paceless? But if in you thought you must measure time into seasons, let each season encircle all the other seasons, And let today embrace the past with remembrance and the future with longing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wMO3uUqtNYHave a Blessed Happy Birthday Adrian. LOVE

People live there lives bound by what they accept as right and wrong, true and false, correct and incorrect. That is how one defines reality!
But what does it mean to be correct, true or false? Hmm, merely vage concepts. Their reality may be a mirage!
