Ghosts that my cats see in the house

occasionally my cats will see something I wont, usually hovering somewhere or moving around, then stopping & hovering. It's pretty rare that it happens but when it does it sure creeps me out. Anything I should know to do or not to do in these circumstances? (it's happening right now! )

How interesting is that?

If your cats could talk what stories would they tell?

It's so easy to to forget that we live in a multi dimensional world. I am sure your cats are seeing something that you don't, but even if they didn't demonstrate that they were seeing it, it would still be there.

I would watch in amusement and ponder the wonders of the universe. There is so much going on beyond our 5 senses. It's AMAZING!!!

I'm sure there is nothing to fear.

Wow that reminds me of when my Geno died and I took my dog with me to the graveyard.She was wagging her tail and fallowing something unseen around like she was playing with a butterfly but there was no butterfly or anything else that I could see.Maybe, I thought, it was Geno!!!Thought I would share.

It is not only spirits that the cats can perceive, but changes in the environment. I find myself feeling things, seeing strange flashes of lights, having ringing ears, and when around animals, the animals either perceive the changes in me or they are looking the same direction I am. Unless they get angry in the direction they are looking, odds are it is nothing hostile or powerful. Tuning into your cats may help you expand your perceptive abilities. The way I am now, I have never seen a spirit able to invade someone's home without being invited in; a spirit tried to get my attention just last night as I was coming to my door, but I ignored the man as his presence around me in this world is not what he should have been doing to grow to the next plane.

I have been doing this with birds mostly as of late, but whenever there is an intelligent animal around, it is always a good idea to learn as Everything with a soul has something to teach you: Everything without a soul is taught things by those with souls and it is possible to read those teachings by experiencing what writing has been done to that object.

I hope this helps you use what you have noticed your friends noticing.

Great perception Soldier!!! Although through my experience I must agree to disagree that spirits are able to invade without permission.I believe(just me) that they go and do as they please.It is there reality and we can choose to notice or not notice them,maybe some of us are more open to noticing and maybe at differnt times of the year or different places they become more obvious or we become more perceptive.I know I am more perceptive in the Fall and Winter months and Pennsylvania and Missouri were more  "powerful" places for me.Why that is I am not sure yet.
You seem very perceptive Soldier.Can you tell us more about your experiences?
Your thoughts are very interesting.You seem very intune with nature and the spirit world.
Could you please tell us more about the male spirit you encountered last night?

In my experience, I Know that ghosts exist as traces of their former selves, but that's because I was a friggin idiot and I looked for proof of my feelings through alternate paths than forcing myself to work on my own, so I don't doubt what logic may already have proof of.

The man who tried to engage me did so actually two or three nights ago now and although I did not See the spirit, I only heard it making an effort to talk to me, just a faint questioning "hello?"

Last night, I was accompanying a friend to dispose of a keepsake from his ex's first admission of interest. We went to a bridge overlooking a creek and he disposed of it, knowing all the time that it was a ritual demanding he release the feelings with the object. As we were walking away from the bridge down some train tracks, I had a really strong feeling of unease and a loud ringing entered my ears even though no music or any sounds could possibly have caused any neuronal damage in my ears. I felt pressure behind me and I turned around to see the outline of shoulders and a head hovering about the same height as me moving up the side of the hill to stop on the middle of the tracks behind me. I could only see the top of it but the entire body was there in my mind. I felt like a meal being watched by a predator, but I feel that all the time as I also feel when other humans or animals and sometimes extensions of human souls (cameras) are looking at me. The spirit did not move from the tracks and watched us as we went down the side of the hill to leave the area. I tried to get my friend to give me an indication that he could see or feel it too, but he denied it as he was probably still bummed that he couldn't smoke his cigarrette as the ritual in his mind so demanded.

When it comes down to it, I couldn't tell if it was a hallucination or if what I perceived was indeed the way things really are, but to me, my perception is my reality so that spirit Was There. I don't think that spirits are necessarily bound by the will of those still here, I just think that when they associate with humans, they experience a Lot of interference with their own signals and it may be abrasive to an invading spirit if it tried to force its way into someones home that already has all of their electrochemical energy coursing through it unless the spirit was very close to the place/people in life.

I may sound intelligent, but I assure you I am in the darkest hole void of knowledge. My experiences are by no means anything special as I am just a human who believes his wings to be clipped because I don't understand how to spread them. In fact I think you should be the one telling me stories Sabatha, I'm sure I could learn a lot more from you if you could find it in you to teach me.

Well SaintSoldier I am no expert either,I am here for the learning experience also.
That is an amazing story about the train tracks ghost though.I wonder what his story is.Maybe suicide?Maybe an accident.As curious as I am I would probably go back there and try to contact him or her.Something tells me it is a he.
I have quite a few stories to tell.
My first encounter I can remember was when I was about 6 or 7 years old.
my kitten was killed by our dog.And on the way to the grocers we had to drive past an orphanage,there was an open field across the street and I saw a little girl walking in the Field holding my kitten.I told my grandparents but they could not see her.I can still see her in my mind.
The next thing I recall is when another cat of mine went missing and I was about 10,that night I cryed myself to sleep and woke suddenly and a woman with a white dress and glow about her was standing at my bedroom window.I felt she wanted me to go to the back door so I got up and went to open that door and there was my cat !!!
 
When I lived in Pennsylvania I rented a haunted house,filled with dark forces.I heard footsteps up and down the hallway everynight and saw a shadow cat running through the house at all hours of the day.
I would hear water running in the tub upstairs and go up to find nothing sometimes and water in the tub other times.
While taking showers I would come out to find hatefull words scrawled in the steam on the mirror,no matter how much I cleaned that mirror and always something different.I felt complete fear in the bedroom so I slept in the living room.
The landlord said people moved out alot because of it all and dropped my rent to 165.00 a month but eventually I had to move too.She then sold it for 8,000. to a psychiatrist who tore it down and made it into a parking lot.
There is a graveyard across the street from where I now live and my mother has seen 2 black men (ghosts) and my brother has seen a black cop standing over his bed.
I have heard voices and felt something spiral around me and then right through me.
Just the other night I heard a womans voice clear as a bell say "Wait"
I have alot of stories SaintSoldier but those are some i can think of right now.

I don't think it is a good idea to contact the spirits no matter how much they try and contact us. The only spirit that I'm cool with are of my own family who I can Guarantee 100% are on my side. The spirits that would want to stay around either want to interfere with those who are still living, have no idea that its possible to proceed to the next plane of enlightenment, or have someone they love still providing an anchor to this world. That means that more than 2/3 are most likely evil or not worth associating with. It's just not a humans place to help spirits as we have no idea what it's like to be dead, yeah?

I'm afraid I can't tell you any more ghost stories without opening up a can of worms. Never Ever Go Looking For Ghosts. They Are Food For Other Things.
