Wellness and Peace To All, Efforts to understand the words and meanings as written in the bible, led to my marking numerous passages in red for further study. Genesis, to me was one of many chapters that left me many unanswered thoughts and questions. Finding of this forum and the efforts to decipher the bible and religions, beyond the written words for hidden meanings, has helped immensely. While there are many other areas in Genesis that were highlighted, Genesis 1:20-22, Genesis 7:15, 21-23, gave me pause. No mention of fish. Sea monsters, yes, all living breathing things, yes, even if there is a question with this item, all were mentioned as being destroyed. One could say killed, but it was actually, murder. What was the situation with the fish or under water life? Were these spared! Now in Genesis 9:2, fish "are" specifically mentioned. OK, so fish can perish without air being available, but are not specifically mentioned as being destroyed. Is there some specific meaning involved here! While I'm at it, posing my questions, If Adam and Eve, were the start of life on earth, how can Genesis 4:14-16, be explained! Than comes Genesis 7:11,giving very specific time frames, all the way and to Genesis 8:14, with more specific time frames. Who is tracking all these specific times! Little (?) questions still remain though. Did all animals talk in those times, or only the snake!. Did the snake walk upright before being condemned to crawl! Those verses, that claimed that one has seen the face of God, than no man has seen the face of God, and no man sees the face of God and lives, as mentioned in other chapters. So much fails here in the reading as written, leaving only the task of seeking a hidden meaning. Perhaps I'll stop with citing all the chapters and verses that were highlighted in my work bible, unless others are interested in what was confusing to me .
