Won't add much of anything else to this except to say Brandon, I found your response well stated and quite humorous yet genuine. Thank you for sharing openly and honestly. We do have those thoughts, it just depends on whether or not you treat them as bubbles or blocks.

Lets see, where was that! Oh yes, one gent from way back was supposed to have said something  like 'The things I do, that I ought not, and The things I do that I ought not, that I do', or words close to that. (Romans 7:15-24)
Anyhow, lets face it, we are out of the spirit world and for awhile using the fleshly body. Of course there is also that thing called 'mind' that is very curious about this worldly experience. One should keep in mind though, that the creative process is a prime and very powerful force. Regardless of how serious or humorously it arrives, there is little gained by just denying it. One way or another that creative force will demand expression. Outlets for this creative force takes many forms. Art, sports, automobiles, roller skating, bicycling and so forth, are part and parcel of the expressions of the creative force. A pleasing process for some and a horror process for others, depending on circumstances involved. For a few, the pilot light has gone out, leading to a dull existence, if no other creative outlets are pursued.
Wonderful expressing and sharing of thoughts here on a, sadly, near taboo subject. Almost like you folks were reading my thoughts here, and leaving me with a Gomer Pyle 'Golly'. Well, I did roller skate four times a week, climbed small mountains, enjoy art, drawing and still had time for.....oh oh, time to go silent for awhile.

On the thought of Sex.  I am apart of the Pagan community in Michigan by default.  I am not a Christian but I am not an atheist.  I believe in spirits and energy, so that lumps me into the broad Neo-Pagan genre.  One thing I have become aware of through the years is the 'lust' that could be described as the Pagan Traditions.

In ancient times women were worshiped for their 'natural magic' of childbirth and period.  The phallus and the chalice have come to represent so much of their lore.  Mystics would meet on hill tops under the full moon and partake in rituals that involved dancing, singing, and passionate orgies. 

To this day Pagans remain promiscuous. There are numerous stories of Pagan Festivals being common grounds for witches and druids to 'get laid.'  Other than birth control and disease, is there fault in this way of living?

Well in an ideal world I can't really see one.  I am monogamous, I love my wife dearly, does this mean that I am only to share that special connection with her?  Well Pagans don't necessarily think so.  A true pagan does not become jealous when their partner finds enjoyment in another and is happy for their partner's pleasure. 

I don't know how I feel about this.  Perhaps I am too selfish to see this overall love for all.  I do 'care' about everyone as a whole, but do I really 'love' them?  Do you think that this 'selfishness' of a singular partner is inbreed into our subconscious?

I once wrote a small article/blog on the perfect society.  Like animals we would be able to walk around naked when warm, we'd be able to breed on instinct (alpha male/female syndrome) and we'd all raise each others' children in equal love and harmony.  We would all be fathers and mothers of the next generation and we'd all work towards the same similar cause, the growth of humanity.  Perhaps then we'd be more comfortable with our bodies and perhaps we'd be healthier as a whole.  We'd all be hospitable to anyone who comes by and loneliness would be a thing of the past.

Of course as wonderful this may sound to some, others are also instantly flooded with unpleasant ideas of every 'unattractive' person that comes to mind.  This is why it would be mutual... although whose to say standards would be the same?

I don't know where I'm going with this, I'm rambling off... thoughts?

You've posted some interesting threads here in this forum. While I'm going to 'leave out a great amount of thoughts' as words here, 'a whole bunch of thoughts' are in between the lines being written. Do read them carefully. As you read these words various emotions will raise your eyebrows briefly, so bear with me.

As is happening to many people as of this date and time, they are, as You are, not 'normal'. At hearing words like this, a first reaction is to get 'pissed'.
 
Hold off, and let me go on though, and finish with what I'm saying here.You, as are many others, in this point of time, 'very 'Special'' in the Universe.
You are, as some 'others' are, still coming up into the 'full awareness' that can initially cause a bit of confusion in sorting it all out. Heck of a situation, holding a 'key' and not knowing about it, or even not knowing 'what it opens'. Numerous souls within this forum, as throughout the world, are also fumbling with that 'KEY'. Source, through the Holy Spirit is 'Speaking' louder and clearer' to those willing to listen.

As you had stated, 'I'm rambling off', same as you, I'm 'rambling off', but from a different place of the viewing.
Guess I forgot to mention, this is from my 'normal insanity' point of view, and no will not elaborate beyond what has been said here.

The bible is very silent on words to answer your question, if it's a bible quote of Jesus that your looking for. Might I suggest though, that one give a read to this, 'The Song of Solomon', in the Old Testament. It wasn't exactly all war in those days.

While we look up to spiritual writings to make a sense in our human nature's err... so to speak 'lesser needs' ..lol.. let's not overlook the eternal human spirit and its mighty power to make fun at things.

Anyway Adrian spoke of 'unconditional love' as opposed to 'lust' in another thread... and interestingly enough one of my best friends sent me a bunch of jokes, aligned with the general vibe of this topic.

Before I do my best attempt to translate the joke you have to understand 2 things. One is that Romanian humour is quite basic and goes right down at the base chakra ...lol... and the second is that my friend is always making fun at the % of Hungarian blood that I inherited from my ancestors.

Here it goes and I apologise if the joke nature might upset anyone (lol).

The Americans come up with a super (ahem) err.. potent android. There are 3 women to test it: French, Spanish and Hungarian. The French one is first. After 1 hour she comes out and goes: "- Oui, c'est superb!". Next is the Spanish. She takes 2 hrs and comes out all sweaty and content yelling –"Ole!" The Hungarian is next. After 6 hrs the engineers decide to go in already worried that something went wrong and the woman might be in trouble. When they open the door they see the Hungarian girl running after the android angry and screaming: "So?!! You’ve got enough batteries (power) left to run away!!"

Ah, Duracell again saves the day. 

Will spare you all wading through most of the details, and keep it short.
Funny, how some of the little written about, 'good stuff' in the bible never gets mentioned or much talked about. Really suspect that many problems in this world would just dissipate if sexual energy were appropriately addressed. Difficult to get good conversation going along these lines, yet I do believe, just speaking and reading here in this forum will change some attitudes.

Seems that for some, endeavoring to dissipate sexual energy, the process has taken on 'a fast food' mentality. Fast and quick. Initially this 'Fast and quick' activity may prove to be a viable method of gaining 'satisfaction'.   

Now for the 'and keep it short', part: 

A fast food mentality will soon lead to a dull existence. 
An occasional snack sometimes will perk things up. 
A full fledged many coursed meal will generally prove most satisfying and enduring. 
You want to experience crumbs of nice, or experience mountains of 'WOW'.   
Doing mountains requires time and attention to details. 

In truth though, this statement I recently came across carries a lot of punch:
"It's a lack of emotional satisfaction and appreciation.  Yes, simple, humble, little ol' appreciation, can MAKE or BREAK a relationship. It's just as true for women as it is for men. Not that sex isn't important - it IS - yet it's with the power of appreciation that kick starts the action, endures, and just keeps going and going."

First time when I read about ‘lust’ in this thread, I took the dictionary to check what it means. I got some picture.
Sounds like something vulgar.

Well, in my view, this urge, or feeling or emotion, is the strong, deep, burning desire I feel for the man I love.
It comes from the spirit, not from the flesh. Without spiritual love, don’t feel ‘lust’ either.
The love without desire for lovemaking is not love of this earth. We are here Body, Mind and Soul, and it’s perfectly naturally to honour all needs and desires of these parts of the whole.
Life without passion is empty and boring (for me). Desire is a wonderful part of spiritual love, it completes it beautifully. “Lust” is the yearning to become one with the beloved. It’s not at all a ‘second hand’ emotion, but uplifting to heavens. Don’t think that it is an obstacle to spiritual ascension.
We live on earth now, in flesh. Afterlife we shall live in spiritual planes, and have the eternity to love spiritually.
For now, I feel free to love humanly, with mind and body and spirit, totally, completely, infinitely.

I love all humanity unconditionally, but there must be my One, whom I love passionately. “Lust” is part of my passionate love. I would feel incomplete without it. I am not as evolved as Adrian, and neither wish to be above ‘lust’. Think I can rise my vibration and embark on that ‘boat’ even being human, and having eartly desires.
It is a wonderful emotion, the expression of passion, and an aspect of love, as we are here to live and enjoy it.
