Extra Terrestrials good or bad?

I want to talk about something controversial in which almost no one knows anything about. The following is a paragraph taken from Budd Hopkins book "Sight Unseen".

The only Unconditional Love I saw in this tragic affair was Will's enduring and luminous love for his profoundly damaged wife.

So why are they here and what are they doing? I sometimes like to think they have a technology to end my yearning for a new body. They could make a body for me that I would like with there brains so I would have the look I want and the psychic powers. However these Aliens seem to be Emotionally Numb and I really don't think I'd like to be around any of them.
