aaaah it took me a while to recover.

Embed is when you place a piece of code in a blog (in this example) that allows you to post on a site 'something'.
Example the food pyramid picture on my 40 days vegan thingy ..lol..

You can <embed> a YouTube clip right into the page, however this forum doesn't have this capability or perhaps I haven't figured it yet.

Unconditional Love.

While I understand the concept (have to call it some thing) of Unconditional Love and how one needs to apply that concept. My inner Babbler is giving me static about the application bit. Little things like "judge not lest ye be judged", "love thyself as thine neighbor", so loving your neighbor and thinking that a specific act was wrong, is introducing a (but) into the concept, that is contrary to the concept of Unconditional Love. How, for instance, does one cope with things like just experienced here in Illinois, where this states governor was arrested for numerous (pay for play) schemes, that forced, so to speak, one to make a big cash contribution, in order to gain state contracts! OK, so condemn the act, but not the person. An opinion is made that did judge both the act and the person, (skip the supposedly part) what was done by the governor, was blatant and deliberate. One need not be the brightest bulb on the string of lights to be aware of how wrong the act and that person is. Numerous events fall into the same category, and the answer eludes me.
Share your thoughts with me, on a meaningful way to approach this situation.

I wish to share something with you in Light of the post I wrote about in the Relationships and Spirituality thread a week or so ago.

My mentor suggested I read on Unconditional Love and Spiritual Understanding and then decide based on Divine Assistance receiving my 'answer' based on Divine Wisdom and Discernment. I had a disagreement with another and my Inner Sensor was saying this was a call to Love. Because it affected me. Otherwise, I could have listened and observed my friend's opinion and left it at that.

I'm sharing what I read here with you in regards to these type of scenarios;

"It is extremely difficult to practice Unconditional Love until the energy of Spiritual Understanding is flowing freely. otherwise we are going to be caught up in another's pettiness, rigid expectations and closed mind. But with loving understanding we can see his or her divine value, express Love with no strings attached, and know that 'this too shall pass' as the person releases the critical spirit and becomes centered in Truth.

What does it mean to be "understanding"? Think about the meaning of loving detachment while standing in your Spiritual Beingness. It is putting up your sword and seeing through the eyes of your adversary. It is the development of Spiritual empathy -- the projection of your own consciousness into the consciousness of another in order to understand the person better. All pairs of opposites should do this: vegetarians and meat eaters, feminists and chauvanists, nonsmokers and smokers, alchoholics and abstainers, pro-choicers and anti-abortionists, liberals and conservatives, religionists and atheists, New Agers and Fundamentalists, exercise fanatics and couch potatoes, gays and straights, and any other shades of polarity. Impossible? No. Difficult? Perhaps. But when you consider that your reawakening and remembering of Spiritual Mastery depend on it, you know that it is time to start moving in the right direction."


So, I am not answering this for you, just sharing what I was asked to consider in a situation that was causing me grief.

Hello Talker,

This thread is going to run long and hard.
Where the governor sits, what he did is the SOP - standard operating procedure - it is how business/politics is done and the perks of doing it. The same thing just occurred in Ohio, and not a person has gone to a court room yet. It is the sacrificial lamb offered periodically to the public to ensure a sense of justice and fair play. Yet it is done this way and has been for a very long time. So unconditional love would dictate that you detest the hypocrisy, and choose not to be a part of the dis-ease.
Unconditional love is also privy to this infection in our own arena of fair play and equality. For some it is accepting conditions they know are unhealthy in its name, and for others it is the angels costume they don to chastise - in a loving manner of course - to create their own agenda of self adulation. While it implies that you only see the goodness in some and actions, it also tends to state that wrong is perfect under this blanket of divine justice. I hold no such illusions as unconditional to me states that when someone is watching child porn for instance, Love would state to break the projector before leaving them to their own diseases, walking away and ' shaking off the dust from my sandals'  as Jesus would say.
It is according to ones own sense of Love that responses will gather here. Many will be quotes across the New Age time here interwoven into dialogues talking of all being perfection unfolding, yet we see many things that lack any sort of perfect sense and sensibility - do we not?
I feel it has become an avenue of acceptance that allowed the Governor to feel confident enough to do those things, and as I stated initially, he sees no wrong done as it is the arena he sees the same in wherever he looks.
Unconditional love is not - IMO - a reason for non action or non engagement of persons doing things that clearly hurt others, for as we say here so often - we are all one. Hurting others hurts us all. The governor had no reason to doubt his actions as wrong, and to expect any kind of resistance to it.
Unconditional Love banner has seen us sitting on our laurels awaiting 2012, walking by things we see that are offensive to us and to God, accepting intolerable conditions awaiting the great mother ship from Sirius. Right is defined by saying no wrong exists, that positive means you never feel negative.
I have read many of the posts here and on other forums regarding it,psychology interwoven with old world religion, seasoned with a spicy New Age icing on a cake that lacks any substance beneath the frosting. For beneath the frosting - things are still occurring that will turn the stomach of decency and Sacred unfolding's.
I know I feel more loving when I stop the person from hitting the child than not - when I intercede in abuse, and take the gun from the hand of a desperate person. The governor will walk his own karmic trail, as we shall our own also.

Hello Talker, Darrell and All ~

Very excellent points being shared here Darrell. For some reason the story that comes to mind is when the 'harlot' was brought in front of Jesus naked in front of all these men (shaming) and as the accusers raged on Jesus stooped down and drew in the sand.

They all left. Speaks to me somehow in that what is the underlying message here? How do we transform these seeming atrocities?

Illusion comes to mind as well. Do we continue to feed the energy of the illusion or give way to Spirit?

Anything with a beginning or end is an illusion. Spirit is Eternal and does not pass away, having no beginning or end. These things which are a part of this illusion are passing away.

We do our part as we are Divinely led Carriers of Divinity, Radiating the Light. I personally find it hard to believe that 'Jesus' Presence did not create all sorts of reactions and responses in 'those' who were in his Presence, including those known as 'his' disciples. Peter in the Garden of Gethsemane comes to mind here...

Everything originates from the Center. We know what to do. We've seen the way it's been being done for mmm....

It is 'Time' to change our ways in all ways.

A thought shared is echoing here ~
