Thank you Melody . Looks like a very comprehensive source of bible data. Have downloaded the basic program, plus a few that were on my " to get " list. May have to install this group on a plug-in usb harddrive. Some of the entries are massive. Ah yes , I see many more hours of research ahead. I do have a few bible programs, purchased years back, but they are some what clunky to navigate, and do not cover as much territory. Will have to make a donation there, once I see how "eSword" turns out. Once I see how it works out, would like to put the link into my blog, of course, adding some extra comments in a posting.Believe my readers would be interested in this.

It appears that eSword is the best electronic bible there is, and it includes all sort of additional material and study tools. And it is free! Yes, indeed, it is good to make a donation if one finds it very useful.

It is great that you keep your mind occupied with such important matters as spiritual quest. This can bring a lot of light even when going through a “dark” period in one’s life. Good luck with that!
