Hi Adrian, I would like to know how do I clear my mind? You see I too have tried a lot of things and bought a lot of books, tapes and programs of which I have had no success with. I admit I was trying the law of attraction, and I am so glad you explained that there is no law of attraction. I really do want to mainfest my dreams and reach my goals. I read that if you just hold the thought in mind that , that would work, I also read about visualizing and imagination of which I have a hard time doing. I would certainly appreciate some help in the right direction so that I can experience some results. Thanks, Shirley J[ adrian@ourultimatereality.comemail]

Hi ShirleyJ, A warm welcome to the forums, it is nice to see you participating here. I am Julia and not speaking for Adrian. He is deep in the throes of his new project and pops in from moment to moment so I am just sharing what has helped me with you. What has helped me greatly may seem backwards but it works for me. I highly encourage you at the earliest point of rising to let your hand move across the page of a notebook and write what is going through your mind down. Don't try to analyze it at all. Just let it flow... It may be like; my feet feel cold, need some socks kind of thoughts first and then it will move into more, dinner with Susie is tonight, I really don't feel like going. She complains too much and so on and so on. The more you do this, you will notice that your thoughts will empty out and at first it feels strange to just think nothing. It does come with daily moving into moment by moment practice until it becomes more and more first nature. Thoughts arise, you are aware of them, the emotions begin to fade about them and they become easier to let go of and just allow them to flow through and let go. You will be able to detach from them easier. The other benefit of doing this is that you really begin to see what you are focusing on in your experience and this will allow you to get deep into the heart of the matter. Your Authentic Voice will begin to show through. During the day especially while out there in the world, humming is a wonderful way of not thinking about anything. I do not mean a particular song either. Just go through the scales until you feel a vibration that 'suits' you. As to visualizing. Write down the dreams you desire to manifest and then go buy an inexpensive photo album, then find photos (your own and in magazines) and words to glue into it that will really assist you in defining and moving into your dreams being realized. Your book of dreams. Page one would be your visuals for your dream relationship or home or profession and so on. Just sharing some practical ideas that assist along with the mind in the doing of these things. I would love to hear back if you do play with some of these ideas about how these really 'worked' for you. Thank you for posting your question Shrileyj, Love and Blessings, Julia

I know this will probably sound trivial but I am interested in interpretations of it. Yesterday I bought a pair of Johnston & Murphy leather penny loafers for $130. They are what I have been looking for for about a half a year now. Last night in my dream the right shoe was ripped and it progressively became larger until the shoe about split open from ankle to toe on the top.
Could this be guilt for spending so much on a pair of shoes? is it a fear of having something nice and they will be trashed from use?
I know I don't need them, though I do want them. They look great with jeans and can be used to dress up with as well, say some khakis or business casual. They are also very comfortable. Im hoping they will help with my posture as I have lower back and knee pains here and there.
Any thoughts/suggestions?

Dear Justin, If you remember that dreams are things (thoughts of subconscious come into dream reality, however much more than that as it involves directions, hopes, daring, destiny, repressed desires and so on coupled with processing into most optimal course for your development/evolution), then if you remember that reality as we know it is a result of conscious dreaming you may want to take a different approach to your dreaming. Your shoes are a long standing desire come true in reality - reflecting that in your subconscious mirror it takes you to a higher dimension, of greater dreams about yourself the being that you are and the being that you aim to be. The rights shoe splits open - if you remember the brain hemispheres are reversed in body representation therefore your right foot will gets command from your left brain. What is your left brain responsible for?: Logical, Sequential, Rational, Analytical, Objective, Looks at parts... Right shoe splits open.. the shoe doesn't fit... your are growing...your growth doesn't fit into your show therefore the 'what is not part of you' - the real you, your essence' must give way, split apart for the new you... (remember that the logical brain or Mind is the sum of our paradigms or our beliefs, learning, ways of fitting into the external world which most of the time is "us" in the image that we think it will fit the world and not the real us.. So try in your next meditation, insight, moment of introspection to 'touch' the rigid parts of your left processing and let yourself - open... that will give space for the 'subjective" to enter your sphere of perception (right brain/mind: Random, Intuitive, Holistic, Synthesizing, Subjective, Looks at wholes). You can look at the whole process as "thinking with your heart" (and not feeling with your heart and using your logic to fulfill those feelings). Oh!! and also try to gain insight in what 'foot' (walking, ground etc..) means for you - for the being that you are ( remember what you see as physical is just a small % of what we really are...) love

Hi Gretch87, Dreams can be and so often are, revealers of 'inner messages'. Dreams fall into various categories. Some will be intensified to get immediate attention. Others will be sifted and sorted to arrange the numerous energies involved. In that we are 'spirit, soul and body', ones dream is composed of 'energies' from all three sources. This is why the 'sifting and sorting needs to be done. Communicating with each level, on what should be done at each level of being. Healing, desires, wants and needs, are 'all' put on the table for degree of importance and activation. While I use the term 'babbler' to address the energies that are rising up and 'voicing' words, that are commonly called 'chatter of the mind', I really don't actually know the truth of it, regards 'who or what' is the 'voice getting attention. I just call them 'babblers'. So back to your dream now. Details within a dream are often not recalled, when one awakens and says' whew, what did that mean'. Here as I have come to believe it, is where dreams get a bad rap. Those overlooked details that are so important in deciphering a dream, just aren't there to make sense of ones dream. Keys to understanding a dream, are in the details. Lets take a shot at a possible meaning. New beliefs were taken in, around six months ago. They are partially correct. You need to reevaluate all the new beliefs. One or more aspects within those beliefs require modification of some kind, to 'fit' you and be right for you. Overall, harmony is setting in, but what you 'don't need' must be removed from the new beliefs. So, is that the real situation! Only you know if it's true or not. There are some common meanings to objects within a dream. but only 'you' can decipher them properly. Your 'life experiences' will dictate what truth is 'involved' with the 'details' revealed to you, no others can fully do so. Be Well PS: I see Laura's post, as I finished my post and saved. She picks up beautifully, filling in the spots, I left out.

Thanks for the replies and insight into the dream world.
Although, I don't believe i grasped all of it. I'm still left wonder what to do with these shoes. I had them ordered - they should be at my doorstep by friday. I'll have 10 days from then to return them should I not like them. Laura, from what I understood in your post, are you saying that I have outgrown the notion of seeing myself wanting to own these shoes? That I have outgrown that desire? That I should not keep them? They are not me? Or, are you saying that my belief system isn't syncing up with my new attainment?
I'm still not sure what to do. I like the looks (not sure how they will feel yet) but maybe I should get something cheaper. I know this is a very systematic approach but I want to know what I should do with them. I could think of other things to spend the money on but it isnt going to bankrupt me or anything. I don't know.

Hi Gretch87, and All, Will cut to the quick here. Do you actually wants the shoes or not! That should be the criterion, Secondly is can you really afford them! If you say yes, that's it. Fit, comfort and anything else is another matter, and totally up to you in deciding. My dream scenario, if even close to 'actuality' has, lets say, served it's purpose. It got your attention, perhaps, because some prior 'dream' missed the mark in getting your attention. Now, when the shoes arrive into your possesion, wear them comfortably and with pleasure in having them, or return them, if you feel a nag about them. Either way the dream served it's purpose, the shoes were the attention getter. Be Well

Dear Justin, So undecided ..lol.. don't you get it? the shoes have nothing to do with anything they were just a vehicle .. for you to gain insight in something that keeps plaguing you. This quilt? I bet it happend with other things as well. Why you have quilt? try to go back in your childhood and see what was programmed in you to keep you in the guilt trap - oh boy oh boy.. see how mind works?!? "shall I keep the shoes I want them but i will feel guilty coz they are to expensive and for that guilt i would never enjoy them properly" ..a neverending loop.. Guilt comes from reprimands either from others or from Self .. sorry kiddo I've been there and it can be a real bitch! (if you like the shoes keep them and above all ENJOY them don't think another second at the price ... like when you were a kid and had no idea about what it costs .. you just appreciated stuff for what it was - at the same time do something more so you can meet the needs you have in life w/out all the guilt) (send us a picture with your cool sneakers lol.. ) love

lol thanks. As if you couldn't already till I am a very indecisive person. remembering things from my childhood is a real challenge. Other people (like my friends and sister) remember more from my own childhood than I do. They are always recollecting stories that I have forgotten.
Yeah I'm seeing how the mind works now - very fascinating.
I'll take the advice. I'll wear them and see how it goes.
Thankyou for your patience.

Thank you for posting your question Shrileyj, Love and Blessings, Julia Hi Julia, Your way of communicating reminds me of a Dear Friend Anne Marie, who is the founder of the original "The Ashram" in Calabasas Ca. (Hope I spelled it right). She is a wise knowledgeable spirit, who emanates pure love. I am new to this forum, and I love you already. There are so many terms in the world of metaphysics ie: vibration, attraction... all these ways of describing the experience of detaching from the illusion, coming into contact with ones omnipotent God self. I love how Adrian says that he does not live by "time", what a wonderful way to experience yourself. My personal way of saying it (existing in a state of detachment) is "existing in the state of the observer". When I am the "the observer mode" everything becomes more clear. I know I am rambling but this atmosphere is so refreshing! I look very much forward to hearing more of your thoughts on how one can shun the illusion and exist in that state more consistently... we are so taken in by illusion in this physical perception... it is so difficult for so many to exist in a conscious state of true reality. I am speaking of the reality that is deeper than physical manifestations... deeper than what we call life and death, or maybe "not as deep...", maybe right on the surface, maybe our perception is so deeply fixated on illusions that we fail to exist in an awareness of what "is" us. "God". Maybe this wont make sense to anyone but me, but maybe it will. I needed to express, and couldn't wait to begin participating with you. In great Love, kadensnga

GoodMorning To All.
I see it's been quite awhile since anyone posted in this forum! I have always been fascinated by dreams. I have felt that there is either an obvious meaning to the dream or a hidden desire/message. I tend to think the state of mind I'm in at the time influences what I think it all means.
Last night I had a vivid dream involving my father.
I want to add that I only remember 3 other times dreaming of him. In those dreams he never communicates with me. Just walks around doing nothing. No emotions expressed.
This is how I remember my dream last night. In the begining I was told that there was going to be *another* funeral for my father. I made the decision to go and I remember telling myself I was going to say goodbye to him and that was it. The sensation in my dream was Strength.
I remember getting dressed and putting on these large diamond earrings that held images in them that would change as I looked at them in the mirror. For some reason I thought it important to wear them?
Then I remember walking from some where, and in the distance I saw his coffin with him in it. It was outside surrounded by water , green grass. There was some bread broken up in front of the coffin in 2 plates?
I remember thinking he looked well preserved . I didn't approach him, I stayed a few feet away, and said goodbye to him.
What confuses me is I felt strength/determination to go to the *dream* funeral but I still felt as I did at the real funeral, this sense of fear of getting too close to him?
What did the strength mean? If I still hold fearful thoughts about getting near him why is that? And finally what does the Goodbye mean?
I wish I could say it brought me closure and a sense of relief. It hasn't. I'm feeling this sensation of fear this morning, I feel anxious and scared about *something* I can't explain. Spooked? Afraid he's trying to communicate with me?
I feel guilt, because I don't want him bothering me. I feel like he's a ghost and if I acknowledge his presence he's going to haunt me?
Well that's it. I'm going to go out today and stay busy. Thanks for listening!
Love and Light, Alicia

Wow Alicia!! What an awesome 'dream'. Truly. A lot of symbolic meaning here. There are those of the Mind that everyone in our 'dreams' is our Self expressing in a costume. When I first heard this it was like walking along and then all of a sudden tripping over nothing and falling on my face! Shifted the way I saw dreams and what we call 'real' life and continues to become clearer. This is why when it seems we are confronting another, we are in Reality confronting our Self and this is equally 'True' when we feel Love for 'another' it is our Self re-presenting loving a part of our Self withIn. Loves Presence revealing ItSelf in our eyes view. So, not at all attempting here to tell you what to do or what this dream means to you, just Inviting you to view your earthly picture of your relationship with what you created to be your father and any 'unfinished' business you felt you had with him. I am big on writing because it is very personal and you have the ability to be alone with your Self and express openly. A for your eyes only kind of writing. Soul speak. Have you ever written a letter to your dad or those who hurt you in childhood and really let it all out? All the suppressed emotions that have been crying out to be released? Heard? That's all they want to do, have an opportunity to complete the experience by being allowed to express and be released. We tend to shove them in the closet and tell them to stop crying and be quiet. That one has never worked for me really. It seems the voice or voices just raised their voice louder until I was willing to let them out. I was afraid that I would drown in my pain, which I ended up doing anyway because in order to drown out their voice I had to numb myself through physical means. Until I faced them head on, did I begin to get free. Not trying to get off topic here, this is just what flowed in reading your Heartfelt expression and my Heart is responding in kind. I highly InCourage and InPower you to write some letters to those expressing as you in the form of a father, mother or whoever may have caused some pain to be experienced effectively in your life. This will set you free Beloved Alicia. I appreciate your listening Heart in mine. Much much Love flowing your way, Julia
