Hi
I had a lucid dream for about 2 months ago where i was totaly aware of that i was dreaming it was really mindblowing. Everything felt so real even more real in a way, i could feel the energy of the invirement.
The next dream i had was me standing on an edge and realizing that i might be dreaming, the only way to find out was to jump of the edge i thougt.
So i did, then that feelign of lucidity strarted to come and i woke up. Damn i thought. I had another dream just like that but from another tall egde. And the same thing happend, i could not continue to have a luciddream expierrience.
But the next dream is really weird.
I acctually realize im dreaming and try to convince my dreamcharacters that we are in a dream. I am telling them , listen this is a dream, cant u understand. And they just dont take me serius.
This dream of trying do tell my dreamcharacters that there dreaming has happend like 3 times i love it but each time its gets less lucid. Last time it was just a dream of me knowing that i was dreaming(get it). it was not really lucid.
What could this dream mean? And how can i get into it more, and not wake up, I really want the dream to be like the first lucid dream. <Totaly aware.
Eny dream experts here?
Hi toon-tech,
I think that dreamcharacters are not necessarily dreamcharacters but astral beings. Even if it is just a dreamworld created by you, then still it's not strange that they won't believe you when you tell them that their world is fake. Would you believe it when people start telling you you are living in a dream? I don't think so.
If you want your dream to last longer so that you can do fun things like flying, then you must learn to control your exitement. You can ofcourse feel joyful, but if you become lucid and start to get too excited, it can jolt you out of your dream quite instantly.
If you want to have lucid dreams more often, you should read alot about it and do reality-checks during the day when you are not dreaming and take those checks very seriously; it shouldn't be a vaque routine, otherwise it won't work.
~!!!! Understand that, when you are asking yourself in a dream whether you are dreaming or not, this usually means that you are dreaming, because otherwise you wouldn't ask yourself this !!!~
And then you can verify this with reality-checks.
Checks you can do are for instance:
- checking the time, remember it, and 5 seconds later check again.
This is easy to do and in waking life, the second time you check your clock it will be just 5 seconds later. But in dreamland it could be HOURS later or earlier; earthtime often makes no sense in dreamland/the astral I found.
- check if you can float in the air
Again easy to do; just jump a bit and in the astral/dreamland you will have little problems to feel that you're floating. If you are, then you're dreaming.
There are more checks, but the above checks are not waterproof. One of the best is usually this:
- Usually a weird/strange situation can be an indication that you're dreaming. You can also learn from these things and realise the aspects of your personality that need attention.
For a while (actually for years) I've always had very negative, aggressive dreams. I never understood why I couldn't have a nice dream like other people. I also remember feeling envy of people who'd describe having beautiful peaceful dreams, because I was always in a fight-situation or hell-like environment wich I got REALLY tired of.
Then, when reading more and more about creating your own reality with your way of thinking, I realised that my thoughts during the day were also responsible for my dreams to great extend. I'm still cancelling negative , aggressive thoughts but have made a lot of progress and have had very nice dreams of beautiful places without nasty people picking a fight with me.
Talking to your friends about dreaming or reality-creation is often no good. I've talked about family & friends about these things, but I can sense they all think I'm nuts. My father has the attitude that strong minded people don't need to be busy with these matters, my mother is scared to think about these subjects and keeps holding on to christian church, my brother laughs about this stuff and my friends think it's weird as well.
By now I am totally convinced that it absolutely makes no sense at all to talk about creating your own reality to non-believers until you have accomplished extraordinary things. So I will never again talk about it unless I am living in total abundance. Then, and only the, people will probably listen. You can't blame them either for their lousy attitude; would you believe a person who is not wealthy when he talks about getting whatever you want by thinking a certain way? I don't think so.
I hope my post gave you some insight. I'm busy with my believesystem as well; I'm not a master at this, but do know that the way you think is everything. The challenge lies in changing the way you have been thinking for such a long time and cancelling the unwanted thoughts, like in Adrian's newsletters.
