Darkness . . . the beginning of light.

I'm not sure where this fits in at, but I just had an epiphany - or an apostrophe if you're thinking in Smee's terms.

I'm not supporting much of anything; just laying the ground work of something I'm sure someone on this site - or in the world - has thought of. I do think alot about many things, but when I come up with something, it's like an "A-HA!" moment.

Darkness; birth; the beginning of beginnings. Picture a light source coming from afar - it may not be the brightest, but no one can claim that it's not light. Imagine a prism being hit with light - that light which goes through the prism, creating an abundance of different colors; different facet of what the light is reflecting. Now . . . Imagine that light is the source of all mater - the God or Goddess or the Divine Spirit. The prism is you . . . the light that comes from this source reflects upon you many different colors; different aspects of the same thing, yet divided into individual aspects of the entire being. These different aspects of color - of you - are reflected more brightly upon the many planes of existance, yet the main source of where it's being reflected from (where the light touches the prism - you) is somewhere else. How do you know that you are where that point in which the source of light is filtering through you? Are there many of you reflecting elsewhere in the other realms of existance?

The next question is - if the prism, in the beginning before it's touched by the source of light is actually dark, does that necessarily mean that darkness - black, brooding darkness - is really bad??? Or lacking of much of anything for that matter???

Now that we know that light can influence color and bring it about, can darkness do the same thing, but in reverse?

I know that a lot of this seems a bit odd in thought, but I"m trying to embrace my abstract part of thinking.

How is one able to 'see' LIGHT? Does darkness allow LIGHT to be seen?

And as to the prism. Just throwing in this ones quirky ways of observing, what 'if' the prism is Cracked? What happens Now?

Hello Julia and All Sharing Souls,

Interesting stream flowing here. Light and darkness, hmmn, can we have one without the other! Maybe, but I doubt it, although I do believe the word 'darkness' carries a wide array of interpretations. To alter the word in a meaningful way, would be to apply the word 'color', and reread the 'Light and darkness' phrase, as 'color and light', would be apropos here. In the physical realm, a cracked prism will give one problems with it's use.

Now on to your ''Anything, absolutely Anything is Possible' ... moment ~', and let this one play with that thought.
Do believe that one has internal 'filters' that actually act as prisms, that determine how a person 'reacts to specific emotions'.  So the angle of a prism is not the same for various types of prisms, and applies also to ones emotions. Type of 'emotions and intensity', would be like the various angles of any given prism. These various angles is what adds 'flavor' to the 'emotions and intensity' present in ones inner store rooms.

Taking my 'normal insanity' way, and a 'prism like action' into spiritual territory, now, would be like this:

Source would be the 'White' light.
The prism output as 'colors' , are 'Us' as bits of Source manifesting and experiencing.
Each color output, from the main prism, 'is' lacking one or more colors.
Within each and every one of us, are two 'Seed' filters, namely:  The Holy Spirit, and The Christhood, that are, or may be well hidden.
The 'Us' as bits of Source manifesting and experiencing'', act and react to ones 'emotions and intensities' moment by moment, regardless of consequences.
Some find the hidden 'Holy Spirit, and The Christhood' readily, while others may have a very difficult time before making that discovery.
Prompts and whispers of the 'Holy Spirit, and The Christhood' 'hint'  and give clues to where the main prism is, or direct you away a broken, cracked, prism 'illusion'.

No forcing, always 'ones own choice' to listen, follow, or ignore the 'prompts and whispers'.
Eventually, as one follows the 'True Light', they flow back through the many and varied false prism illusions. into the 'main prism', and restored back within Source as Pure White Light, together again, at Home.

Oh well, did give making sense of it all a wild 'normal insanity' effort.
