In spite of the obnoxious nature of your statement, that, the first part is correct.

Nothing that we do in the physical plane, body, has no influence whatsoever in the upper world.

However once we get closer to the source, upper world, everything changes. How you think, how you speak, the choice of what you eat, what you do and so on.
It all starts with the effort on your part: willing with all your body and heart to be(come) closer to the Source.

I highly recommend prayer. Like Gregg Braden said: "prayer for the man is like water for the seed".  
Like a seed you may stay dormant for a very long time, however when with heartfelt prayer you desire yourself to change, to get closer to the Source, the human start sprouting all that amazing seed potential.


What you call "discourse" (and I will overlook this time the rest of the expression.. just so you know is not kool at all!!)  I assure you it serves the intended purpose. There is an energy in all the replies, that can be obscured to the ....  one that doesn't allow. An amazing energy of willing, compassion and unconditional love.


May the flood of unconditional love and compassion open the closed gates of the soul.

Reread the opening statement you made, it seems that it is incorrect, as 'What we think and do' does in fact, while in the body, allow one to become closer to Source.

And, again, lovingly I would like to differ ( a  bit ) pointing that my reply was somewhat different.

Or rather perhaps change the wording of the phrase:

What we think and do while in the body does nothing to bring one closer to the Source IF what we think and do occurs at the same level of consciousness where one was not close to Source in the first place.

(On a side note...my beloved friend IS closer to the Source to begin with, therefore there's no wonder that my statement appealed to his feelings. )

In order to solve your problems you must become a different man, and that you can only do by prayer or treatment like Emmet Fox said. By prayer or treatment meaning raising your consciousness where you meet your feelings and thinking with self-responsability and awareness.

Unfortunately many people conduct their lives, and thinking like in a Merry-go-Round. Off you go, with a tremendous amount of energy and rattling, terrible noise, determination and activity and the wonder of all wonders there you go ending up in the same place. Perhaps many years older, perhaps with more dizziness and aches from all that jolting ride. Alas, same place.
Same patterns over and over.
We have all been guilty of this without exception.  Some at deeper..or higher level than others.

The Bible talks about on how the man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Thinketh in his heart... with interest and feeling. So indeed there is a LOT we can do in body, mind to come closer to Source, IF so one WILLS with all his heart, body and soul to be/do so.

To the extent that the desire to be closer to Source overrides all concerns related to the Self, and body.

The Source is the Highest Vibration. Everything is Vibrating and Energy is always moving. Nothing is ever at rest. This includes your food, thoughts and actions. The food you eat have a Vibration and it can bring people together or tear them apart. When my Vegetarian friend and I go out to eat and get pretty much the same thing it causes an entrainment and the result is that we become closer.

You try to ignore the Universal Laws of Vibration and Causation. You ignore Metaphysics and Quantum physics. To eat foods that are nutritious such as raw plant based food increases your vibration.

People have Meditated to become closer to the Source

People have Fasted to become closer to the Source

People have practiced Virtues such as Compassion and Patients to get closer to the Source.

There we have the types of fasting, Physical- Abstain from food, Emotional- Abstain from selfish desire, Mental- Abstain from thoughts, Spiritual- Abstain from Vice.

Changing your lifestyle DOES change your over all energy Vibration. This IS called Enlightenment. Why do you deny yourself the reason you are here Larry?

I've been thinking about posting a thread like this one.

The real problem, to me, is that Adrian says he doesn't believe things, but 'knows' things to be true beyond all doubt. And, as has been pointed out, that simply cannot be true if one year he says this, and in the next year he says the complete opposite. I'll give some examples myself:

- 2012: if you know Adrian from the Astral Pulse forums, you might know he was extremely skeptical towards the whole 2012 idea. Suddenly, he stated that 2012 was the very reason to write his book. Also, he speaks highly of the Science Of Being movement, which actually states that there's been a mis-calculation and that it's not 2012, but a later date (I didn't even bother to remember the new date 'cause I don't give a damn anymore).
The more Adrian will write about 2012, the more he will discredit the whole spiritual movement that is open to the 2012 idea, including himself. Think about it, how will it make us all look if, indeed, nothing will happen. Personally I don't think anything will happen. Believe me, I hope something will happen. I would even welcome a nasty, quick earth-cleansing,  event, wiping out most people, but I don't think it's going to be that easy.


- Vegetables & fruit (living food): This has already been pointed out by Logic, that Adrian was against killing lifeforms for food, including vegetables & fruit. Nowadays he even juices those foods and recommends us to use a good juicer.


- chakras: Adrian didn't believe in working on your chakra's because, according to him, it was similar to a car engine... I don't remember the exact comparison, but it was pointless to work on a broken engine or to work on an engine in a broken car or something similar. Nowadays he's totally pro chakra development. He even working on specific audio tracks for this purpose...


- Direct Voice: First Adrian said that THIS was THE biggest prove of life after death. He even dedicated a whole website to it. Then later, he dismissed the whole thing and stated it can't be proof (the opposite). Website is down as well... at least, it's not in his links in the newsletter anymore and I can't find the website myself either.

You can write whatever you want (long replies which I'm not going to read because I probably won't be here), but you simply just can't say that Adrian knows things beyond all doubt anymore. Not after you see the contradictions, that are all over this place indeed.

This doesn't mean that you can't learn from certain writings of Adrian ofcourse, and I also do believe that he means well. But knowing things beyond all doubt? No. We're all on our own here and please stop quoting texts of others because it's no proof at all.

People who read things in the bible don't KNOW anything. Same goes for Adrian's book. It might suggest to look into something and perhaps it could help you to experience that something. Only then, you might know a bit about that something. Even though it's still a personal experience and others might experience that something differently. Pretty much everything in Adrian's book can be turned around in such a way that it becomes another contradiction.

Contradictions are inevitable as beliefs and truths evolve, resulting in changes in perspective.

There are NO absolute truths, if they do not evolve and become replaced with deeper ones, stagnation occurs = death.
The problem is not Adrian's perspectives or the contradictions you seem to put so much time into seeking. People demand absolute in their leaders and Gurus, and the bottom line is - your responsible for your own evolving, not Adrian or anyone else's work - just your own.

Dear Louis, Laura and All,

I have to admit as well that reading Wave's post was stunned by the authenticity, gentleness, wisdom and knowledges of our highly valued Brother Louis.

The feeling of deep admiration was extremely intense and lasting. Also the Love I instantly felt for him. The question that Laura selected impressed me too, genuinely.

Probably this strong impression upon my subconsciousness, made me dream last night that Louis posted his picture in the forum, a big sized picture of his face, and seeing it, I was amazed by how handsome he is, and wondered about his insatisfaction with himself, such a good looking young man.

I'm sure that this very real dream contains alot of truth in it. It felt unusual and special to me.

When any of us, like for example Darrell and Louis now, share lots of Love, compassion and tenderness with the world, they instantly look and feel amazingly Beautiful and Beloved. The Beauty of the Hearts shines brightly and permeates everything around, the whole Universe.

I Love this family too, endlessly! Including my Friend Larry, who is Beautiful as well, only less skilled at letting the inner Beauty shine.

Isaac Luria had the profound insight that God, The Creator, is him/herself evolving - via the process of creation. And we the creations are an important part of the process.

Rabbi Isaac Luria lived in the years 1534 -1572 and although he left behind no written teachings is acknowledged as the greatest Kabbalist of modern times.

Perhaps is no coincidence that Luria, or the man called Jesus in the west left behind no written teachings?!? Spirituality is a science of evolution within each and every human, and apart from some lightposts, we really don't have much to go on - in the external world that is. However when the within becomes the normal habitual realm then all Creation is seen as perfect.

Even contradictions.

When things are complete..there's no need for anything else isn't it?

For those that are more comfortable with things prescribed, Moses and the Law comes to mind.

A wonderful Energy being shared here by Laura, Darrell, Louis and Leila.

Darrell, this is where you and I have arm wrestled, or played tongue twisters together in our ways of expressing 'Absolute Truth' in play of course, our relationship has remained strongly intact.

Speaking in Julia~ese. The one absolute truth that I have witnessed in my experience for myself is that no matter how much I, to my mind in the experience at the time seemed to 'botch' the lessons, Source, GOD, Tao, All that IS, is unchangeable in ITs nature of Loving me as a part of IT Self. Not in a static, dead, unmoveable state. A constant flow of LOVE. We are maintained within an Ocean of Love, seen in our completeness of our Divine Nature which we share with Source. We are 'seen' as Ocean in Ocean's eyes. It is we whom have separated ourself in unique expressions into droplets by creating limitations upon ourselves. And then we fight over a drop calling another drop a not drop.  

The Ocean. This includes fish eating fish, bottom feeders eating from the bottoms,  from plant life all the way through to the cresting waves crashing on the surface. The all encompassing Ocean. It's all contained within the Ocean, unchangeable in its nature of being Ocean yet constantly changing in its expression and experiences. Water is water whether in liquid, boiling and frozen forms and vapors. Just clarifying here and thank you for allowing me to hone my language. Truly my Beloved Friend and Brother.

Whom of us can say that we have not changed from whom we once thought we were? I too fall into the category of being a hypocrite and contradictory in moments. If one here could follow the path I've walked throughout the years. And the one thing that keeps returning in the currents is that I AM that I AM and this is constantly evolving. I am nothing like the one in years past yet I AM the ONE in years past, this is how I AM in this moment due to all the changing of my view, shifting by degrees into the position of where I AM now. And this only shows me that it will only continue to be so.  I Heartfully like where I Am now so much more so, that I look forward Being Present with 'new' eyes and newness of life restored from my once believed state, of life being beyond my reach.

I was merely surviving. Surviving as in a dead to Life and Living state.


We speak of Enlightment. Another word play here. For myself, this means stepping into the fullness of my Being and experiencing my Life from all parts being gathered into ONE. Not 'trying' to figure it all out. And now while I do have a sense of humor in viewing ones whom are still very focused on just the physical reality and the behavior that comes from this belief, I realize that as today's calendar reading affirms or decrees for me, that the only change is mine to make in me. Not you, not them. It's my One on One. And this is In Lighten ment (Spirit Essence) to me.

To be fully aware in my Being.

First of all I want to specifically thank Laura and Leila for giving me credit and saying nice things such as I'm Brilliant and Wise. Leila the things you said to me touched me soul and made me smile. You probably did see me in your dreams and think I am handsome. Thank you.

There is no contradictions. They only exist when points of view are opposed. When everything is put into its place the picture will become clear.

A. Soul you are right, nothing will happen in the year 2012. A lot of the different things that are said to happen on 2012 wont even happen on that date. For instance the transition into Aquarius as dictated by the precession of the equinox wont happen for at least a hundred more years. The History channel likes to change the dates of all kind of phenomena to 2012 in order to scare people.

You have the foresight to wonder how it would make us look when nothing happens on 2012? This embarrassment should befall the Evangelical Christians alone however since the Spiritual Guru's don't want to be left unaware they decided to add in there insights to the confusion.

Let us just beware of Fear. It makes people Ignorant, weakens the immune system, causes people to give up there own power to those they are afraid of, and it ruins lives.

SORRY FOR THE LONG POST! I haven't been on in a while and this is such brilliant discussion. definitely life changing as everything on this site. Kudos to Kailaurius once again for jogging my brain again .

I only wanted this thread to be criticism out of passion and love for the subject. Why are people writing things that have virtually nothing to do with the threads actual topics?  I didn’t ask how my brain or mind works or perceives, I asked about specific subject matters by Adrian that contradict themselves.  And no, I don't look at Adrian as a Guru or master, I am not looking for a perfect guide, and I can't "judge" him because not only have I never met him, he is a mere screen name and book author in the reality of my actual life. I just realize the fact he seems to have a more vast spiritual knowledge and experience then me.  For that I take most of his theories and standpoints more serious than I would most other people.  I am a fan and actually HIGHLY recommended "Our Ultimate Reality" to a high school buddy i saw at the grocery store just yesterday lol.

As for the contradictions, they are real, even if you chose to ignore them or acknowledge them as something else and make matters seem more complicated than they actually are.  Wording your way around questions leave them with no answers, but distractions.  Adrian also seems to have that tone in most of his writings also ---“At the same time I would be failing you or anyone else if I did not "say it as it is" and got you to put on your "rose tinted spectacles" so the world looks nicer. It might look nicer but it is still an illusion.”  You can say it’s only in the mind of the observer, but we are all observers.

Anywho, one thing I noticed in my life is that life is extremely abstract.  But, in all actuality this "abstractness" seems to stem from a natural state(blueprint), that governs the majority.  Like how eating  ~insert a non-edible/man-made/unhealthy "food" name here~ may work for one person out there, but logic and evidence shows the majority weren't made to eat that  .  Sun to an extremely dark skinned African black person effects their skin differently to a pale basically albino blonde white person(sunburn) when in fact both are still equally human.  The way I look at it is that discovering the basis and basics of this “blueprint” can only lead to spiritual evolution  (like how I learned to be raw vegan)
 
Also , Awakened Soul I understand where you’re coming from but some of what you said is inaccurate, and some change in beliefs of Adrian are understandable in my personal opinion.  Some however are so contradicting I just can’t wrap my head around an honest explanation, which is why I made this thread, not to offend.
I don't mean to sound negative at all. If I do, I apologize. I just can't wait until Adrian becomes active on the boards and begins to enlighten & clear some things up once again and again, sorry everyone for this wall of text
