I am new to the forum and had a question. I don't want to get into the discussion on if its possible or not possible. I was just curious if anyone has come across something they knew would happen and tried to change it or prevent it and if they succeeded or failed. You can PM me or post here.

In my own experiences I have not been able to and under the impression its not possible.

Hello Midnyght,

Welcome to the forums,

I am new to the forum and had a question. I don't want to get into the discussion on if its possible or not possible. I was just curious if anyone has come across something they knew would happen and tried to change it or prevent it and if they succeeded or failed. You can PM me or post here.

In my own experiences I have not been able to and under the impression its not possible.

There is no "future" except as a human concept.

There is only the Eternal Moment of Now in which our reality is created and experienced in accordance with our thoughts.

So even if an event occured in what is a notional future, it was created and experienced in the Now. What people refer to as the "future" exists only as quantum probabilities in the Now which only become quantum realities and experienced in the Now.

Therefore "telling the future" is impossible.

In Love and Light,

Adrian.

So what I have seen has already happened in the Now and I haven't experienced it yet in accordance with my physical form?

Hello Midnyght

My understanding comes from more of a practical perspective so here is what I can tell you.

Well for us we do live in the linear time, I guess experiencing all the alternate possibilities X (times) the past…present…future…of infinite eternal ‘nows’   would be to much for us within our limited frame, or rather our brain/mind is noy wired at that capacity.

So I apologise tot Adrian but telling what will happen it is possible however not the way it is normally understood (aka fortune tellers, mystic visions etc…). It happened to me, and from stories I heard it happened to some women in my family. My Mom always had a knack of warning people of things that eventually come true.

After understanding more (spiritual stuff, quantum physics, etc) and my opinion is that:
The way you “tell the future” is by creating it.
You are so firmly convinced it will happen and voila the Universe delivers your deep seated belief.
At the same time keep in mind what Adrian said you are experiencing all quantum probabilities now!!! The fact that you happen to “see” an inkling of your linear time that’s about to come..”in the future” is nothing but a fluke in your physical programming.
Or who knows …:-O perhaps you really get to connect with your higher self and transcend your linearity ?!?

From my experience…if you see something you don’t like just get in the habit of telling yourself…”Doamne Fereste” ( hmmm I have a hard time translating this in English but .. something along the lines: “please God prevent ‘this’ from happening” or….”God protect me or whomever from it (the thing happening)” ..lol… it is like a combination of revisiting what you have seen and believing firmly deep within that will not be how it will happen!! While at the same time being prepared deep within that even if it will happen you are not under any circumstance to ‘will’ use your human will) to change it but leave it to the higher purpose and be okay with whatever while understanding that there are higher forces at work and what at first might seem as not good it will work for the best in the long run seen from a wider perspective.

I am sorry if I seem to verbose to you, and hope this answered the questions you haven’t posted, but thought about. It just happened that at many times I went though same thing as you describe, so wanted to share what works for me.

Thank you for your response.

I been trying to come to a conclusion and I have came too Four conclusions.

1. What I have seen already happened and therefore I can't change it. This though contradicts "free will" and is along the lines that things are predetermined.
2. What I have seen hasn't already happened but it is supposed to happen therefore I can't change it but only prepare for it.
3. What I have seen hasn't already happened but my faith in changing it was not strong enough therefore I couldn't
4. What I have seen hasn't already happened but will because I manifested it to happen, along the lines of I wrote the future.

It happens if 4 different ways.

1. Sometimes I can take the feeling of others and the state of the current world and logically process all the events and come with one outcome and a feeling that this is the one that happens and it does
2. Sometimes its a fussy image like an out of focus picture and when it happens I instantly recognizes it, but not till it happens.
3. Sometimes I have a 30 second to a minute color dream of slices of time. If I fully remember it I can often trace the events leading to the slices of time as I get closer. If I can only somewhat remember it when one bit of the slices of time happens I instantly remember all of it and know whats happens next such as what people will say and do and what I say and do. Sometimes I cant remember any of it, but I know I had one when I woke up and when it happens it triggers the "deja vu" feeling. One time it was "deja vu" feeling I got at that moment I told someone about it and had a "deja vu" so it was as if I had a "deja vu" of a "deja vu" if you can try to wrap your mind around that.

This is just one of my confusing things that I would love to understand better. Some things I've seen are not important at all and doesn't make sense why I have seen them, Some are important but only helps others to prepare but one hangs over my head...on my shoulders as like a big burden. I have told people what is going to happen and it does, I've tried to change it without telling anyone and it happens and I also just watched it happen and said nothing...which is what lately I been doing more of.

Hello Midnyght

I can totally relate to “and had a "deja vu" so it was as if I had a "deja vu" of a "deja vu" if you can try to wrap your mind around that.” – it is happening many times to me. After being perplexed by it I realised that it is a fluke of the linear timeline meant to bring even more into my attention that everything actually occurs in the ‘eternal now’.

“1. Sometimes I can take the feeling of others and the state of the current world and logically process all the events and come with one outcome and a feeling that this is the one that happens and it does”

You are aware that we life in a sea of multiple individuals seeking and willing to connect with their higher power which in the end it is indeed all ‘one’, therefore it is not surprising that more and more of us can pick up on certain thoughts and vibes, and especially you as it seems that you are such an emphatic soul.
The real danger for an empathic person is actually to want to do more for others that it’s actually supposed to do. Remember we are all here on a learning path of our own and like with children giving them too much and making it to easier for them we actually deprive them of finding their own way, which it is the essence of growing through experience. I am talking about your inner desire to do something about what you think you see.

Regarding first set of 1, 2, 3 ,4, I can see on how conflicted you are inside, and at the same time it is perfectly normal for you to be so.
This usually happens when we put to much importance on processing things of the non-matter realm with our logical intellect. Non-matter realm can be anything in the category:
spiritual mysteries, emotions, feelings and so on.

The irony is that we are designed to be like this and is simply a balance between the left and right brain that helps humans survive and cope in the physical world, while adding to our uniqueness and creativity force.
An expanded explanation would surpass the scope of this post, however at least for me the knowledge behind this subject is indeed fascinating.
So rest assured that what you are going through is perfectly normal and natural (obviously applied to your unique experience).

Anyway when ‘conflict’ is at the order of the day the best course of ‘action’ is to release, disconnect and shift or switch.
It is highly advisable for you to do this as in time inner conflict can potentially express outward in any form of disease and/or ailment. On top of that it can become debilitating to your function in the world and consequently affect your entire frame and even worse it can stunt your progresssion.

Basically:
You need to ‘disconnect’ then realise it’s been taken care of.

What is happening here is that your mind processes which are in ‘output processing mode’ – or in other words making a sense in the whole shebang -  are stuck on a dead-end loop. And, the more you are at it the more you will spin in a never-ending, conflicting thought processing loop.

How to ‘disconnect’: you may use any techniques you are comfortable with and you totally trust and believe in, the only condition that you need to obey.

These can be any of the following:

- meditation techniques and I believe Adrian at some point gave us a good introductory in it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0rSmxsVHPE

- if you are coming from a religious background and trust that use the prayers, rituals, etc. that will shift your focus away from your mind chatter and your need to ‘solve, control, or not control, etc..’ basically away from exactly the topic you just wrote here about

- think about God – usually this when learned how to use it is the fastest and most direct solution, and this works for me with astounding results.
Thinking about ‘God’ it means that you release all control over it and rest your conflicting thoughts by discarding them onto God. Think of it (as an image) of a huge load that you carry solely on your shoulder and feel responsible to take it to someplace or else!!!, and it is clearly to much for you to handle yet your responsibility sitting at your core won’t allow you to just discard it … and you are simply stuck. Imagine you give this load in God’s trust ..and TRUST that it has been taken care of and for sure it will be and much better then you could have ever thought you would.
A detailed description of this can be found under the title “THE GOLDEN KEY TO PRAYER” – an excerpt from Emmet Fox who was an amazing being living on Earth at the turn of last century, and this is the essence of it:
“you must stop thinking of the trouble, whatever it is. The rule is to think about God, and if you are thinking about your difficulty you are not thinking about God. Your object is to drive the thought of the difficulty right out of your consciousness, for a few moments at least, substituting for it the thought of God. This is the crux of the whole thing.: http://emmetfox.wwwhubs.com/foxspks.htm
I can assure you that once you can manage to do this, light will shed on all the experiences that you are having: visions, impressions, urges to do something, agonising on how to help in the view of what you are seeing, and etc etc … this sort of thing.

I have to tell you one more thing, when you are out of it you may find yourself in a totally different position on how you look at all this. It may come as a surprise, because one of the hardest hurdle for a human to do is to master the ‘to let go’ principle, or in other words your attachment to it (whatever that is).
When that happens however it is one of the most joyful spiritual experience and realisation.
Good luck!

Thank you for your guidance Laura. I will work on these things, I do realise it is holding me back in more then one way in life and I feel that if I can 'let it go' it will greatly increase my progression and overall hopefully be a catalyst for change in my over all life. I do feel I should be further along then what I am and maybe this is the key, the fly in my ointment so to speak. I have been carrying it for a many years now.

Thankyou so much for the Emmet Fox page! It is so true and helps make even more sense of what I think. I would love for you to go to the "milk" thread in  - abundance and health - cos Wave could really use what you said. Really brilliant and I love it.

Thanks very much.
BTW, we posted almost the exact info on the same day, only mine was tiny and condensed, and yours was very informational. How about that for co-incidence... which doesn't exist. It was meant to be!

My dear Freedom Smiley

Thank you so much for your kind words and I’m glad that also you find of good use what I wrote.

I must say your overall cheerful and positive tone in all of your posts sounds as you have achieved the so sought state of bliss. Lol… nothing seem to phase you “blessed are the peacemakers”.
I have visited www.theknowingway.com and I had some talk with one of my friends related to a post over there regarding the Chinese government and Dalai Lama, fascinating indeed and so true!!!

I have a personal relationship with this guy you know (Emmet Fox), he showed with perfect timing exactly when I needed it most. That was the day when I got for 50 cents in this thrift store a book “Power thorough constructive thinking” – a priceless treasure indeed. And because of that I am not the person I used to be, well I am the same but I guess kinda out of the fog I got immersed in my teen years. LOL I even asked at some point Adrina if he thinks is the reincarnation of Emmet Fox ..ha ha ha ha.. of course even now I can see what a silly question that was. However at that time I thought as I heard from others on how people reincarnate etc. which is only partially true and of course all explanation relies on symbols that people would understand at that particular point.

Anyway as I’m about to collapse, is 11.25 pm here and I had a very long and labour intensive day (a huge sweep clean of my surroundings and giving up all stuff I don’t need regardless of any form of emotional attachment to it …) I would have never thought it can hurt walking, or just sitting I mean keeping my body posture …lol…so I must collapse in my bed!!

I guess I’m not quire ready to advice the children to give up quarrelling about milk. Wink

lol…

In Love and Light,

Adrian.

Greetings to All,

Ah yes one of my favorite brain twisting conundrums. There is only the 'Eternal Now'. So far so good, thought wise. So here comes the 'Past', that I can 'recall' that doesn't exist, the 'Present', that is the 'Now' being experienced and that beauty, the 'Future' that also doesn't exist. Yet it all is said to be taking place in the 'Now'. I do by the way, really like Adrians analogy of the wheel, hub and spokes to represent the past, present and our many lives going on simultaneously. Well done Adrian. Using that analogy helped to clarify some thought processes. Yet always felt that 'a something' was missing in the quantum theory. So in my periods of endeavoring to untwist the brain twisters, came to the conclusion that perhaps another concept needs to be added to the quantum theory that I'm currently aware of. Crystallized or semi-crystallized quantum probability being set up for a nonexistent future happening. Yes, it takes place in the 'Now' but sets up a future happening. Say that today, I think to myself 'tomorrow at 10:00 am, I'm going to cut the grass'. (Many variables can intrude, granted) Yet in most instances, at tenish o'clock the next day, I'm out cutting grass. So did I not on the day before cutting the grass, plan in that immediate 'now' for an event to take place the next day, in the nonexistent future! From my way of thought, the grass cutting was no longer a 'quantum probability' but a 'crystallized possibility' taking precedence over pure probability! Again to my way of thinking, the event was 'set' for the future happening, because it was a crystallized possibility. Same with planned vacations, parenting, or dire health conditions where one is presented with three to six months to live! Are these events not set for a crystallized future, and no longer a pure ''random quantum probability!' So wouldn't 'seeing the crystallized possibility future' become a possibility!  Yes, I've experienced and have witnessed certain events that I believe were altered from the 'expected' immediate future happening. There were enough of those times to say with strong belief, that one can indeed alter the usual outcome of some circumstances. So I'm unable to relive the past, but I know of the past, and I've experienced the crystallized future. Not in any way being facetious here, only endeavoring to comprehend what is really taking place. Of course I can't honestly explain it any better than outlined here, but my guess is as good as any other that leaves one still wondering what the real answer might be. Could relate a bit more, but will let it be for now.
Be Well
