If it is progressive and if Adrian doesn't want us moving on to the next one without mastering this one then why would he remove the first one at all. That would mean that only the people who already bought the first one can buy the next one. Without the first one to download people finding out about this after the fact will buy the second one instead.

Speaking of Currency is it a coincidence that the American Money Sign is a capital S for slavery with bars? $ Its often seen with two bars.

That is true.  Although on the newsletter it states that it is now available until the next charaka in the series is made available. Could just be my interpretation.

I listened to the samples and they sound quite sinister.  My laptop has a pretty good sound system yet the voice is very difficult to understand with harsh hissing of "s" sounds. Probably from being too close to the microphone.  I also tried it with headphones.  I lowered the volume because of the harsh "s" sounds and still I am really not able to follow what is said.  Does anyone else experience this?  It would probably be good to have a printout to read along the first few times.

But why the sinister sounding voice - it is almost nightmareish.  As long as it works is the important part.

Dear Kailaurius,

I just wanted to say that I also added a little step earlier today while listening to the track.  Whenever I would inhale I would contract the muscle in between the genitals and the anus (the same muscle used to hold yourself from urinating) which really appeared to activate the root chakra.  I would release the muscle contraction on each exhale.  After a few times the count of 7 got to be to long to hold the muscle contraction from the inhale until the exhale, so I would wait to do the muscle contraction on holding the breath after the inhale then releasing on the exhale.  Eventually I would start to feel a hot burning sensation in the area of the muscle contraction.  I didn't do the muscle contraction through the entire track as that seemingly would be too much and probably over activate the chakra - just enough to get a good sensation at the base of the spine.

The next time I'm going to add a 5 minute silence before the track and do the muscle contraction during the 5 minute silence and then continue with the track as normally with no contraction.

What you describe here sounds like a Kegel exercise. Of great benefit for both males and females. Exercising the the pubococcygeus muscles makes for better everything ...

Are you saying this about Adrian's Voice? 

We are talking about the same chakra sound track right? I never noticed this. Adrian just sounds like a British guy to me. Yet you describe his voice not only very negatively but also Reptilian. I have my Reptilian guard up lately.

I see how the voice could sound a little creepy. Just remember that it is likely slowed down/pitch changed and is drenched in reverb and delay. Your feelings about the voice on the track come about as a result of the effects used on the narration.

Sorry - I don't mean to be negative.  I guess I expected to hear a less dark, more soothing sounding voice that hasn't been altered.  I have listened to other hypnotic tapes before which had quite a different feeling.  Actually with the reverb etc, it really seems like you are living a dream as you would see in a movie.  I guess that's the reason for it??

I don't detect any accent either.  Just the hissing by being close to the microphone.  I would love to purchase it because I know I need it.  Guess I need to be convinced.  Just afraid that I won't be able to hear or understand what is said and do it wrong.  Am I off base w this Adrian?

I finally got the headphone jack for my AT&T Tilt mobile phone and listened to the track today for the first time on my headphones using my phone and it sounded excellent.    Now I don't have to carry my laptop with me to listen to the tracks. 

The quality between my laptop and my Tilt sound exactly the same so I shouldn't be losing out on the quality of the sound tracks by using my phone.

Hmmm, that is kind of strange.  I can hear his voice pretty clearly, and I can definitely make out the accent, hehe.  What player are you using to listen to the track?  I use RealPlayer on my laptop and Windows Media Player on my mobile phone.  Adrian has recommended using Winamp.  I haven't tried Winamp yet as I don't have it installed on my computer, but I plan on installing Winamp out of curiosity to see if the track sounds even better.

Listened it for the first time and noticed a couple things:

• The background hiss/effects from the narration ends abruptly after the breathing exercises (at 10:24). I'd recommend a crossfade at the end to make a more seamless transition into the relaxation stage.
• When the narration comes back on after the short relaxing music section after the breathing sections, the audio is pretty jarring (11:14). The narration to me seems a lot louder than the narration audio during the breathing exercises. Could be a result of not being used to hearing any narration after the relaxation period, but to my hear it seems a little too "hot".
• The "forest walk" section of the track has a lot of distortion in it which I find very distracting, so much so that I couldn't get through the entire track. Adrian - please check your master levels during this portion of the track. I think with the accumulated sounds you have going on during this section, they are building up and causing distortion/clipping. I found it very distracting and couldn't finish the track. It occurs mostly from 11:14 to 27:40. Things seem to calm down when the track goes into the actual chakra work.

I believe that's it. Should have taken notes when I listened last night but this is what I remember. The track was listened to on an ipod nano using Grados SR60 headphones and on my macbook pro using Sony MDR-7506 studio headphones.

I am with you Kai, That is what I hear too. Maybe this sample Puppy is listening to is different then what we have. Also most of the Meditations are narrated by female voices so hearing a mans voice might not be what most people are expecting.

Lose the fear puppy, it shall be of no advantage to you.

I used Windows media player.  The sample soundtracks have been removed from the page.

I don't have an ipod.  I would have to convert it to a cd.  Would this create more distortion?  I'm not good at this stuff - still trying to figure the dollar conversion.

I listened to the track again today. This time I did it the whole way through without falling asleep! YAY! However I didn't feel the chakra as much as I saw it. I hope it still energized me.

Puppy I see what you mean now. That hissing and echoing is just a sound effect used on the narration and it was attended. I find it relaxing but I guess not everyone would like it. That's not how he really sounds. Those effects come and go throughout the track.

You can play it with anything as long as the player doesn't alter or compress the file in any way. The echo hiss is going to be there no matter what you play it on. So just go with it.

Hi Adrian,

I noticed you haven't been on the forums in a week.  You must be pretty busy, so I'm not sure if you'll see this post when you get back, but in case you do I have a couple questions regarding the chakra development tracks.

There are several times when I doze off during parts of the track.  Whenever I regain consciousness I realize I have missed a large chunk of the track.  There have been a few times where I slept through the entire track.  So my questions are the following: 

1.  Is the chakra development track just as affective if we are not conscious? 
2.  Does the track itself, or more specifically the brainwave sounds in the track, activate the chakras or is that only achieved through the visualization part of the track?

That's the only questions I have for now.  Thanks.

I am going to have to say 1. probably not, you would need to consciously work on the chakra itself.

and 2. I would say that the sound track just puts you in a relaxed lower brain wave state. You need to take advantage of this opportunity to activate the chakra.

I also have the same problem with the sound with echoes and hissings and I have problems understanding his voice.
I think that is the way the MP3 was downloaded. I tried with other programs and I got the same problem. With itunes is the clearest but not good enough but I thought that that was the way it was recorded and I think that my subconscious will understand it anyway and I didn`t worry about it but when I read this comments maybe something is wrong so someone had the same problem and how it was solved?
I also, fall asleep all the time when I listen the soundtrack but I get a pain in the neck and I got insomnia 3 nights when I listened it, that's why I was thinking that my subconscious was getting the point. But I'm not sure now but anyway, I feel good results in listening the soundtrack because I feel more  energy in myself and it is working.
I don't agree in what others are saying that you have to be completely conscious when you listen this track, I think that you have to be in between the alfa or theta brainwave level to get full advantage of the track.
