Dear Nick,
Just thought I would start a thread on any books that members may want to point out or recommend regarding 2012. Of the books that I've read on the subject, some can be daunting. With respect to the Mayan calendar for example, one writer was so technical and detailed that it left my head aching.

Rather than list the books, I'll just mention one new one that just hit the shelves. It's called:
The Mystery of 2012: Predictions, Prophecies & Possibilities. This book presents "the leading authorities" on 2012 presenting their insights in a single book.
The book features "articulate and lucid essays from dozens of renouned experts on the question of 2012". Thus, the book is more of an anthology of writings on 2012 by prominent thinkers on the subject. I've read the books of some of the authors who write in this anthology, however look forward to reading this particular book so as to compare and contrast what different authors have to say on the subject of 2012.
Best wishes,
Nick
Thank you very much indeed for this recommendation. I know two of the authors and can vouch for their depth of knowledge on these matters.
I can also understand your getting a headache - many of these writers approach 2012 from an academic or scholarly perspective which I find very interesting, but can understand why many would find daunting to say the least.
As synchronicity would have it, my newsletter tomorrow, Sunday 9 December 2007, will address these issues and place them in perspective.
Kind regards,
Adrian.
