This is a book I'd recommend to those of you wanting to read more of the quantum interplay in our everyday lives. It is entitled: Entangled Minds - Extrasensory Experiences in a Quantum Reality. The author, Dean Radin, has written another earlier work called: The Conscious Universe and Entangled Minds is his latest work.
To paraphrase the back cover: Radin explains in his book the reality of telepathy, clairvoyance, and psychokinesis, for example. He has detailed evidence from thousands of controlled lab tests, and surveys the origins of this research and explores, among many topics, the collective premonitions of 9/11. He gives insight into the physical reality behind our uncanny telepathic experiences and intuitive hunches, and he debunks the skeptical myths surrounding them.

Thanks Nick for the info. I've been getting interested in quantum and metaphysics. I've only read F.A. Wolf. Who do you think are the best authors are as far as the topic of the "spiritual universe"? And why are they the best? DH

DH I'm interested in quantum matters too and I am very much of the opinion that you can't get far in your spiritual understanding without some knowledge of it. There are a lot of good books around but one I'd especially recommend is Physics of the Soul by Amit Goswami. Read it and you'll see why. seen Here

Who do you think are the best authors are as far as the topic of the "spiritual universe"? And why are they the best? DH A few years ago I read a book called The Field: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe by Lynne McTaggart which I'd recommend. The best reason would be to say that it is both a very readable book, and also filled with great information based on her interviews of many people. Please look at her BIO which I've set out below: Lynne McTaggart, an investigative journalist, and editor of the newsletter "What Doctors Don't Tell You," began work on "The Field" four years ago as a personal quest. Her research took her to many areas around the globe, meeting with top frontier scientists in Russia, Germany, France, England, South American, Central America and the USA. During these meetings, she saw what these scientists were working on and it seemed to overthrow the current laws of biology, chemistry and physics. Their theories and experiments also compounded into a new science, a new view of the world.
For several years she immersed herself in quantum physics and pored through hundreds of scientific papers to decoding what was often impenetrable work. In many cases she had to pester the scientists to explain aspects of physics in order to check facts and interpretations. Lynne concludes that her work paints a picture of an interconnected universe and a new scientific theory which makes sense of 'supernatural 'phenomena.

Hi - I'm new to this forum but so glad I found it. Some very interesting stuff here. Personally I've been passionate about all things we have up to now called the 'paranormal' for at least 20 years, but I've often been laughed at. That feels like a bit of a putdown so I've mostly kept it to myself unless speaking with other open minded souls. I agree Lynn McTaggart has done an excellent job decoding the physics and have read most of her books. If you haven't already done so, you might consider reading Michael Talbot's book 'The Holographic Universe' in which he takes the work of physicist David Bohm and neuropsysiologist, Karl Pribram and expains in terms we can all understand, what the new quantum theory actually means. It's so mindblowing in terms of how we would all have to change our thinking about 'what really is' and what we have so far believed that it's understandable mainstream science is in denial and can't move forward without tearing up everything and starting again. The 'holographic' theory goes a long way to explaining many mysteries about psychic and other phenomena as well. What do you think? cheers xemmie PS an afterthought - this link http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~sai/holoUni.html (half way down the page) has the full introduction by Michael Talbot to his book if anyone's interested. Sadly he's dead now.

Thanks xemmie for the info. The holographic model makes a lot of sense to me, too. DH

I just finished the book a few days ago. Among other good places, it led me here.
The book is a keeper; I second every positive thought that's written about it.
