I'm a little concerned about (Science of Being) author Fersen's view about not using tools to change our mind, e.g. hynosis including auto-suggestion, and how this relates to Beyond the Abyss.
Could anyone shed some light for me?
Thanks,
Alfred
Thank you Talker for moving the post to the proper place.
Thank you Loraine for your thoughts.
Regarding this concern of mine, I myself actually don't really know what I believe. I would like to use mind products like Beyond the Abyss to help me, and I also would like to follow Baron E. Fersen's teachings in the Science of Being. They're both recommended by Adrian, yet I find this one contrasting point about using mind products. Therefore, I'd like to understand what Adrian or my fellow friends here think about this matter, which I welcome any helpful views to probably clear my misunderstanding.
Thank you again,
Alfred
Hello Alfred and All,
Your concerns are valid ones. Any programing that is not 100% known would be and is questioned by me. This goes back to the days when hypnosis was gaining a foot hold with many, as a way to get in touch with ones inner workings. As a side note, hypnosis was actually outlawed in the medical field at one time. Anything beyond private use was a problem. Eventually the medical community stepped in and required stringent licensing. Ah, thats another story though. If you do your own programs, should be no problem.
Adrian stated Abyss has no subliminal buried in it. I've not checked it, but one could use Audacity to dig into Abyss or any purchased material to verify. Is there danger involved!
Yes, once experimenting beyond the ordinary or habit busting use, one can run into certain difficulties. Even some skilled users, as I see it, don't fully recognise how potent hypnosis is.
It is the form of suggestions incorrectly phrased, that may contribute to the dangers. One can actually 'seed' the mind into believing an 'untruth' that now 'seems' to be a truth. Past life regression may pose no problem for some, but it can, improperly used, cause a mess within ones psyche.
Another area, and I have no data regards it, can be instances where 'child sexual abuse' might be being investigated.
Wording used by a skilled professional, is important when used for that type of hypnosis.
So normal use, should pose no concerns, like for ones personal use. Areas like the so called 'Law of Attraction' are based on 'implanting' a 'new thought' process for the inner self to follow. I mention at various times in my posts 'easier said than done' when endeavoring to accomplish certain goals, here with using hypnosis, the same applies. Certain people are 'highly' susceptable to suggestion, while others are not 'susceptable to suggestion' and require more effort to reach a goal this way.
Do keep in mind that the individual called 'Rasputin' caused quite a stir in Russia, helping to give hypnosis a bad rap.
So Best of success to you, just be aware of what you are doing.
Be Well
