Here is a documentary on Ancient cities in Iraq. It shows very clearly how civilizations come and disintigrate, and their achievements just dissipate and lie crumbled in desert, covered by sand. What strikes me - that area once was a great agricultural region. It is said in the film, that they missused the soil, and rendered it infertile and bare. The film claims that those cities were build 5000 years ago. During that period there were no Earth calamities to drastically change the climate of that region. So either that civilization and its cities existed much earlier. before the Earth had shifted its axes which lead to the change of the weather, or they possesses some really unnatural agricultural practices, like what we are developing now, to sterilized their soil so thoroughly. The following video is a lecture by an Egyptologist Stephen S. Mehler who, as the first, began to look into Egypt's oral tradition that might be going back as far as 65,000. According to him, the pyramids formed a grid line, and worked with sound resonance. Hello Melody,
I just watched the entire Mysterious origins of man, as well as a few tidbits of the underwater Ruins in japan and some of the Amazing secrets from ancient Egypt videos. And all I can manage to say...is WOW!
The one that really got to me is the Mysterious origins of man, not only does it prove that VITAL information to understanding our past is being quieted down and covered up, but it uncovers some of that very same information! While yes some of it is very speculative, some is very steeped in fact! I couldn't believe some of the footage, and then I realize, thats exactly what they want! We've been conditioned our entire lives to blow this off as "rubbish" or another "hoax," but why in the world would good, honest people take the time to MAKE THIS UP, this is simply ASTOUNDING! People walking with dinosaurs, man dating back millions and possibly BILLIONS of years ago!
Why is the scientific community not tripping over themselves to get more information, what could possibly warrant the lack of exploration in these fields? I'm dumbfounded as to why with such (I don't even have a proper adjective to put here that begins to describe the amazing and certainly HISTORICAL) ruins, sites, and artifacts that governments don't put nearly all the budget for scientific grants into further research.
If advanced civilizations did exist(which I was altogether convinced of before this) then why do the major world governments and corporations not want to uncover the mysteries surrounding them and figure out where they were located, what they consisted of, how their machines worked, what the configuration of buildings was, how their architecture took form, and what their daily lives consisted of.
Thank you ONCE AGAIN Melody for all of the WONDERFUL information you provide us with here on the forums, and for your continued curiosity which keeps assisting others in catching glimpses of those elusive facts that are juust out of the grasp of our knowledge and understanding.
Sincerely THANK YOU!
Werp

Hello Werp, Governments have their own agenda, and educating us as to the total truth does not seem to be one of them. That would be out of the scope of how to control us better...

True. But at the same time I wonder if some of the Governments even know this is going on themselves. While yes, I believe the U.S. has been involved with a vast amount of cover ups and control schemes.
I wonder if third world countries, and maybe even some of the major ones know about this information, of it they've just been SO conditioned over the years like we have, that they accept the "facts" and believe they are helping by spreading the "truth."
Just a possibility

A 3,000 year old Egyptian city has been just unearthed. http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hf3eLr-5tZXQIkV8ytoE34WwyLGwD90URFG81“Ancient Egyptian city unearthed in Sinai By MAAMOUN YOUSSEF CAIRO, Egypt (AP) — Archaeologists exploring an old military road in the Sinai have unearthed 3,000-year-old remains from an ancient fortified city, the largest yet found in Egypt, antiquities authorities announced Wednesday. Among the discoveries at the site was a relief of King Thutmose II (1516-1504 B.C.), thought to be the first such royal monument discovered in Sinai, said Zahi Hawass, chief of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities. It indicates that Thutmose II may have built a fort near the ancient city, located about two miles northeast of present day Qantara and known historically as Tharu. A 550-by-275-yard mud brick fort with several 13-foot-high towers dating to King Ramses II (1304-1237 B.C.) was unearthed in the same area, he said. Hawass said early studies suggested the fort had been Egypt's military headquarters from the New Kingdom (1569-1081 B.C.) until the Ptolemaic era, a period of about 1500 years. The ancient military road, known as "Way of Horus," once connected Egypt to Palestine and is close to present-day Rafah, which borders the Palestinian territory of Gaza. Archaeologist Mohammed Abdel-Maqsoud, chief of the excavation team, said the discovery was part of a joint project with the Culture Ministry that started in 1986 to find fortresses along that military road. Abdel-Maqsoud said the mission also located the first ever New Kingdom temple to be found in northern Sinai, which earlier studies indicated was built on top of an 18th Dynasty fort (1569-1315 B.C.). A collection of reliefs belonging to King Ramses II and King Seti I (1314-1304 B.C.) were also unearthed with rows of warehouses used by the ancient Egyptian army during the New Kingdom era to store wheat and weapons, he said. Abdel-Maqsoud said the new discoveries corresponded to the inscriptions of the Way of Horus found on the walls of the Karnak Temple in Luxor which illustrated the features of 11 military fortresses that protected Egypt's eastern borders. Only five of them have been discovered to date. “

Amazing how the egyptians could build such wonders without the horrible environmental pollution that we employ to get the job done, isn't it?
Maybe if we went back to truly using the worlds resources right as they come our buildings and such could survive for thousands and thousands of years like the sphinx and other such unbeleivable monuments.
Be nice to the earth, Gaia, and she in turn will grant your project protection from harm? Karma? I think so.

Yes I suppose thats a good point Awakened Soul, the thought escaped me at the moment I wrote that, I was focused more on the buliding materials and the construction methods, forgot that the labor was not the best paid.
I still stand by the fact that by incorporating less harmful construction and buliding methods that our houses, and buildings, etc would hold up better.

Oh, but I agree with that. Especially if it's true that we're denied Free Energy. I just wanted to point out that not everything about the Egyptians is so ethical and admirable.

Denied free energy? What exactly do you mean by that?
I meant that there's more and more sources that say that free energy has already been invented but that by releasing it to the masses not enough profits can be made. Therefore the oil business will continue to milk out the planet and it's people. Free Energy means energy that's is (practically) free to generate. Apparently there have already been inventors that made cars run on water for instance. One of them is Stan Meyer: http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=tesla&sitesearch=#q=stan%20meyer&sitesearch=Ofcourse, these inventors suddenly get stopped one way or another and we never hear from them again. Do some searches on Free Energy, Zero Point Energy and also on Nicolas Tesla, and you'll get the idea.
